Re: Soapbox: Why I Love Deepnest, Hollow Knight's Most Divisive Area

Henmii

It was a super hard area. I totally agree about the mantis though: Before I was fumbling around and I never thought I could beat the mantis...but then I did and I felt invisible. So I kept going and going untill I beat the endboss (well, the regular one. I still have to do the true endboss).

Re: Review: Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe - A Suitably Dreamy Encore For One Of Kirby's Best

Henmii

I think they chose to re-release this game so newcomers could finally learn where Magolor came from. For some reason I was never a huge fan of this game, I liked Triple deluxe and Planet Robobot much better. I remember getting every cog in normal mode, and almost finishing extra mode (I have to finish that someday).

As for the new look: Never a huge fan of huge outlines, but here it isn't that bad. Still, wouldn't the game look better on Switch without those lines?

Re: Review: Clive 'N' Wrench - A Banjo-Kazooie-Style Throwback That Hits All The Wrong Notes

Henmii

A shame that the game scores so bad. But it probably was to be expected after such a long delay (the game was to be released in 2020!!). The characters look a bit like they come from a generic kids-cartoon, in my opinion.

That being said the game still looks like it could be fun, and the person above me really seems to love it. It may depend on the person, as always of course. I personally love Banjo Kazooie and I had also fun with Yooka Laylee. Maybe its for me?

Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Apparently Has The Biggest File Size Of Any First-Party Switch Release

Henmii

@Octane

As far as I know Zelda games are often more expensive than other games, here in Europe. However, I think I did pay only 50+ Euro's on botw (Wii u version), 60 at the most. I pre-ordered Tears of the kingdom at 60 Euro's. I did pay 60 Euro for Twilight princess (gamecube version), but that was in a physical shop (so I probably did pay to much). Zelda games are massive games, so a little increase isn't that bad.

This site shouldn't make such a hoopla about the price and nor should the fans. Just don't get it from the e-shop and not from any physical shops. I am pretty sure that America also has online-shops where you can get it at a good price!

Re: Here's Your First Look At The Switch Box Art For Pikmin 4

Henmii

@Timppis

You mean the flying Pikmin? Look at the top right of the box!

Rock Pikmin seem to have been replaced by the old obese Pikmin (I prefer rock Pikmin). White Pikmin are back. New are the Ice Pikmin and the dog. I wonder why they added blue Pikmin though, since the dog can traverse water (with the Pikmin on his back). Had hoped for more new Pikmin, but the dog is of course also new. The game looks lovely by the way.

Correction: Rock Pikmin are in it too! Why they aren't on the box is anyone's guess (maybe they are hidden somewhere?). I wonder how they manage this many types of Pikmin. I guess on some levels you can't use certain types? After all, switching between them shouldn't take ages.

Re: New Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Trailer Shows A Flying Vehicle And Fresh Details

Henmii

I agree with many of the comments above: The first teaser excited me big-time, but after that it has gone to freezing point. This teaser was better then the last though.

Yeah, so far it just looks like Botw dlc: Same overworld, with some added floating islands. Nintendo still hasn't told/shown us what's the game really about. But at the same time: They don't spend this long of a time on a simple dlc. So in the end I do expect a title that's worth playing. But if it will set a new benchmark for open-world games (The new benchmark seems to be Eldenring), I don't know. Probably not, but we'll see!

Re: Nintendo, Sony And Xbox Reportedly Skipping E3 2023

Henmii

My first reaction was: E3 was already dead so it was to be expected. Then I realized E3 isn't only games but also gadgets and technical innovations. So E3 might go on, just without the gaming industry. Wich for me makes it uninteresting to follow, since I only follow it for the games (as many of you do, I imagine).

Re: Best Nintendo Switch Games Of 2022

@N64-ROX

Chained echoes was on the list but seems to have dropped off. The list is constantly evolving after all (wich is rubbish in my opinion, but I don't work for this site so what can I do?).

Re: Best Nintendo Switch Games Of 2022

Henmii

Persona 5 is really loved heh? I expected Pokemon violet and scarlet on 1, but they aren't even on the list. I had hoped for Kirby to be on place 1, but 3 is also very good. I did expect Bayonetta 3 to be higher though, and Mario+Rabbids much higher (the lower difficulty in Mario+Rabbids from what I have heard might have spoiled it).

Re: Reminder: Rate Your Favourite Switch Games Of The Year 2022

Henmii

This is my very short list of games (I mostly played games from other years).

Kao 7
Pacman world repac 8
Pokemon Arceus 8 (only played 50% so far, but I think that's enough to give this score)
Kirby forgotten land 9

I hope Kirby wins (or Bayonetta or Mario+Rabbids or Xenoblade chronicles 3, though I have yet to play them all), but I know the new Pokemon (scarlet/violet) wins.

Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite Switch Games Of The Year 2022

Henmii

Hmm, I don't think I have played many 2022 games. I did play the lovely Kirby and the forgotten land. Kao (good), Pacman world re-pac (very good). Almost halfway through Pokemon Arceus, and I have only just briefly played Bayonetta 3 so far. Death door was fantastic, but not from this year I think. And currently I am playing Eastward and Blaster master zero 3, again not games from this year.

Anyway, will vote soon. My pick might be Kirby and the forgotten land. But you just know the new Pokemon will win (violet/scarlet) as always!
