So according to the rumours switch 2 will have a launch year with Metroid Prime 4, Mario Kart, new 3D mario and Zelda HD rereleases. Then there’s 3d party support with CoD and Final Fantasy VII remake and maybe rebirth.

Great lineup already imo.

I have not played any game from this series yet, but looking at these comments I have to remedy that soon! Especially since I’m a large fan of rpg’s.

It means that you as a country have more money to spend for a particular set of items (possibly because you use that item more) and are therefore buying more.

In my opinion they should remake scarlet and violet and get those games up to standards.

Ok, this update turned this game from a nice to have to a must have on the switch. The combi touch screen and controls and the potential mice functionality of switch 2 is an awesome combination for this game in particular.

Why… maybe they should just say that they’re going to put it on Switch 2, because otherwise they’ll miss out on a bunch of potential customers.

The leaks have absolutely killed any excitement.

I’d argue that Snipperclips or Overcooked should be on the list, because they showed the awesome party play you can do right out of the box, with the joycon as two separate controllers.

No other console focusses on couch coop or party play, only the Switch does, and it does so greatly

I would swap out Witcher III for Doom 2016 btw. For the same reasons described for the Witcher. Doom set the standard a lot earlier.

My uncle works for Nintendo and he gave me a Switch 2 for Christmas.

I can’t show any concrete proof though, because of reasons. But trust me when I say the games on the system are amazing, and the UI is top notch and awesome.

Can’t wait to play games on that machine while laying in bed on my back.

@Dirty_Croc I’ll see the switch 2 as a 4th iteration actually (after original, red box and oled). But if it has flaws, and the upgrade is really worth it, I’m planning to sell it to my nephew for a few theoretical bucks, and upgrade myself 😊

It’ll be the first console I’ll actually buy day one if the rumors are true. Backwards compatibility, Nintendo exclusives and the form factor of the current switch have already sold me.

Quite a lot already for me, actually. Xenoblade, Fantasy Life, Pokemon, Metroid, Prof Layton, Dragon Quest and maybe Tomb Raider and Ender Magnolia.

That alone will already keep me from working on my backlog… then there’s Lunar Remastered Collection, Trails in the Sky the 1st, Suikoden I+II, and Mio: Memories in Orbit to look forward to. And we’re not even talking about the Switch Successor and its games yet. Or what’s happening on other platforms…

Next console name will be Wisdom, confirmed!

Short name NW instead of NX or NS, Nintendo Online Wisdom (NOW) as its online service, a small e in the name to call it NeW, and with Wario Kart as thé launch title where you can tweak the cart to your liking, especially the exhaust pipe.

If they want huge sales: I hope they don’t make the mistake of releasing every game only on Switch 1. Just like they did with Fantasy Life on the 3ds.

And yeah, I hope Level 5 returns into form, I really like their gibli styled games.

I don’t know why, because it won’t affect my personal life in the slightest, and I think console wars are dumb (because choice and competition is good for us consumers), but still: I’m rooting for the Switch to become the best selling console of all time.

Come on, Nintendo!

I like most of these games more than your typical 60 dollar/euro AAA game. Indie scene is such a nice scene to dive into!
