Re: Investor Who Urged Nintendo To Monetise Mario's Jumps Acquires Shares In Kadokawa

@Aquinas your reasoning doesn’t make sense. Since the poor and the needy are the victims, and the rest of the people think they are better off without rules, because they think they are or can become the rich ones.

What you’re saying here is that it’s ok to throw 20% of people under the bus if that’s what the majority finds ok.

And regarding your comment ‘we have really tried’, if rules were applied properly regarding oligarchs, they wouldn’t come into power as much. But rules are broken. Via promotion of lying and fearmongering. As I said, ‘people’ as a group are easily manipulated.

Never in history so few people had so much wealth.

@Aquinas people are stupid and heavily influential. As elections show.

Should be a showcase of ‘power to the people’ as you say. Though those same people elect oligarchs instead. Because of talkshows, media and algorithms owned by the same oligarchs. Baited by oneliners that bring a complex world down to a few words they understand, but which are ultimately lies.

So no. Some regulations are needed that span longer than election periods and people’s lifetime.

I’ve rediscovered F-Zero 99 and loving it baby! Won my first grand prix last week and my morale is now so boosted any mirror would crash because of my teeth blinging and bust flexing! I’m absolutely positive I’m the best and I’m immensely invested till I win again!

It’ll happen. This is only the 20th grand prix after.

I’m sure of it.

Anytime now…

OH FOR F SAKE, grey bumper. MOVE!

@BAN i’ve rephrased it into an opinion. Edit: oh, it got removed. Might’ve been a bit too political.

However: The ea’s, activisions, take two’s of this world are the companies who do not allow unions to protect employees and have yearly layoffs, while management receives bonusses which increase year over year. Battlefield for instance did beat call of duty last year in sales. Ceo gets its share, but employees are told to f off.

I don’t know any other countries where the gaming business seems as dirty.

@Jalex_64 switch most likely had reached a value of 100% on doesitplay back in 2023.

The games on switch 2 on a key card are mostly games that require a download on ps5. When looking at the larger games relased on ps5 in 2025 and 2026 most of them have or require a day one patch to function. Sure, the smaller games do not require a patch, but those games release on switch 1 cards as a full game too. So, i see the way of distributing games for ps5 and switch1/2 combined being similar.

Key-cards are not a sham. I understand why they exist, though I do not like them either. To me, the order is as follows:
Code in a box << key-card < eshop < game cardridge

@Anti-Matter to me you just seem keen to jump on the key-card hate jump wagon. Most ps5 games require downloads which makes them practically key-cards. Edit: a lot of larger ps5 games require downloads.

This game is just good, apparently. That’s why it sells. I haven’t bought it so i cant tell, but the reviews are really good.

I don’t know why you’d call people buying a game that reviews well people without common sense.

FINALLY…. My goodness.

First press games have blamed the delays constantly on external factors, such as coloring of prints, printers going out of business, and the weather not being kind to products. While in reality it’s just a ponzi scheme.

Never EVER order anything there.

I’m happy to wait a bit longer on a product delivered by a different publisher if it supports Matthias Linda. This debacle must have cost him a lot of money too.

Edit: wait, the options are for kickstarter backers only? What indeed about people like me who ordered at fpg directly? Like @0ohHeWrong mentioned

Looks very cute! I’ll play this for certain together with my daughter

Also fills out Nintendo’s release schedule till June, just in time for their June general direct: i predict Mario in March, Tomodachi life in April, Yoshi in May, rhythm heaven in June, Fire Emblem in July, maybe some switch 2 versions in the mix such as the datamined Pikmin one or a Paper Mario (TTYD remake will be 1 year old soon, and when looking at DK and Xenoblade Chronicles X, both received a switch 2 version ~1 year after release).

Re: Pokémon Pokopia For Switch 2 Receives A Day One Update

@rjejr of course there will be a direct. We indeed know nothing yet about the 2nd year of the switch 2 - after June.

But Nintendo doesnt want to overshadow 3d party releases this time so I think your statement that it’s needed now is not right. So I think they’ll wait till early June. If we get one earlier it’ll be great.

For yoshi, they can easily just do two trailers and a treehouse. I think the first one will release on Mario day.

But hey, it’s Nintendo. We’ll see.

Re: Pokémon Pokopia For Switch 2 Receives A Day One Update

@rjejr There's also Fire Emblem, Mario Wonder Switch 2 edition and two (pretty cool) Switch 1 games. I think they'll make it till June with that so they can return to their original schedule of June, September and February directs.

For instance: Mario in March, Tomodachi life in April, Yoshi in May, rhythm heaven in June, Fire Emblem in July, maybe throw some switch 2 versions in the mix such as the datamined Pikmin one or a Paper Mario (TTYD is 1 year old, and when looking at DK and Xenoblade Chronicles X, both received a switch 2 version ~1 year after release).

There's also quite a lot of big 3d party games that have a release date before July and which they want to promote, such as Monster Hunter Stories 3, Pragmata, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Indiana Jones, indies, perhaps Oblivion.

Could also be that they'll put out an April direct and skip the June one.

Re: Anniversary: The Legend Of Zelda Turns 40 Today - How Did You First Play It?

Link’s awakening was my first. Loved it every bit!

Then Ocarina of Time on the Gamecube. The collection that you could get for free if you got enough points at my nintendo. Absolutely hooked me to the series.

The first entry I played either on the virtual console on the wii, or on the NES mini. Can’t tell…. And the second one I beat two weeks ago, on NSO. That game is just the first dark souls, liked it quite a bit even though it has flaws!
