@Grumblevolcano yeah, they could indeed easily name the next system ‘switch pro’ and add an extra scew to their Switch Family.

Although, they called it the ‘nintendo Switch Successor’ in their briefing of last April, though.

@Olliemar28 I full heartedly hope the same! And I also think there’s a 99% chance it’ll release in Summer, especially with the current leaks and all. But you know, Nintendo’s going to Nintendo and the Switch is still selling. Can’t rule any possibility out I think .

To me NSO is already worth it for the cloud saves, because I travel a lot for work. But all these games are huge benefits for me as well . Love the complete franchise collections Nintendo is slowly but surely building on the Switch. Via NSO and rereleases

@VoidofLight things feel rigged in Sony’s favor though, for a couple of years already. Because of the Sony audience that is completely tuned into this ceremony.

Slim pickings regarding switch 2 news. During the 7,5 years of the current switch life span, I have never once thought 'you know what Nintendo should do.... increase the MicroSD transfer speed'.

Yeah, it’s a chore. I also recently quit going through last weeks releases to favorite the ones that look interesting.

No. As said in june/july/august/september poll there’s no reason to have a nintendo direct. They’re already promoting the january game. We will get Metroid 4 trailer at the game awards with a metroid 2 and 3 possibly shadow drops but february physical release, and xenoblade x in March.

And in January there will be a switch 2 reveal and a lineup of games that will be enhanced by switch 2 from april onwards. I bet there’s a late April or May release of the system.

@jake1421 yeah, i think when looking at my walkthroughs we also need a ‘randomly drowned somewhere’ timeline, a ‘got grabbed and stuck in a well forever’ timeline or a ‘died because of a lucky shot from an octorok’ timeline.

After Hollow Knight and Metroid Prime 4, this was the game that's longest on my wishlist.

Sony doesn't have the studios to support two systems. You can see it with the PSVR2 as well.

To me, this game was very empty. Sure, it had new mechanics such as freely roaming the world, but it lost a lot of charm of an rpg in my opinion. It wasn’t an adventure, it was just a quest of going everywhere once without context and catch a mon. Then go someplace else.

And yes, I still got the national dex in the game. I’m a sucker completionist

@S83 yeah, I’m also waiting on that one, I think 1,5 years now, though we’ve received a Steam code for the long wait. It has not even gone into production.

First Press Games is absolutely terrible. They also point towards their distributors only (and blame it on ‘printing errors’ of the packaging or some sht) , and absolutely don’t want to take any blame themselves. I will never order there again. They’re not trustworthy nor committed.

Of course it will, all 3d party publishers and developers want their games on switch 2, which will be the next mainstream hybrid system.

I think the Switch 2 will be similar to Switch 1, but Nintendo will mainly use that reportedly usb-c port at the top for their gimmicky stuff and attachments such as camera's or projectors (but 3d party companies do not háve to use it).

I think I’ve filled in a dozen of polls in the last two years about whether or not a Switch 2 reveal will be ‘this week’.

Possibly no breast size slider? That’s it, now I’ll have to give this game a 5318008 out of 10.

Nice! 10 bucks isn’t much for this game. Liked it when it came out, might just buy it for who knows when!

On topic: i liked the game, but I’m a metroidvania fan. And it was released a bit too close to Prince of Persia (looked a bit similar). hope they’ll find a fundraiser soon

I just find it so amazing that Nintendo has created so many great (8) or excellent (9) games this generation in most series. This most likely will turn out as one as well, when reading through the previews. Their floor is consistently high (except maybe for a few games such as everybody 1-2-switch).

And most games have been original but kept their core to appease the fans.

As an RPG fan, can't wait for this one now too!

@TheBigBlue i agree with your statement, but do you think there’s a reason that they’ve included a year of NSO subscription to the Switch Lite Hyrule Edition? Other than ‘an extra bonus that doesn’t cost Nintendo any money’?
