No Splatoon, Mario or Animal Crossing.
No MLB The Show 2025.
The cost is prohibitive, I might buy a PS5 instead and wait for the inevitable OLED in a couple years time.

I’m gonna take a shot at answering the letters here goes!
1) I’ve bought many Nintendo systems day of but I think this time I’ll wait until there’s a) an exclusive I can’t live without, b) an OLED model, c) MLB The Show 2026.
2) I’m one of those people who plays most games very slowly and usually have half a dozen on the go at any one time. Rarely do I stick with one and play it end to end. I think Pokémon, I stick with and Mass Effect and Uncharted.
3) Sounds like a great opportunity to troll NintendoLife staf!
4) I’d played Space Invaders in the 70’s while still very young then Pac-Man etc. My first owned game was Mario’s Cement Factory Game & Watch.
5) A wild Zelda & The Minish Cap appeared. It’s super effective!
6) I worry the mouse is gonna get limited use. Would love to be proved wrong however Star Craft would be awesome.
7) I struggle to discern the difference with a small amount of lag or slightly ‘better’ graphics or frame rate. The WiiU retro emulation however was yuk.
8) Now back on the ZX Spectrum many games let you play till you lost a life then player 2 would get to start their game and back and forth. Chuckie Egg being a personal favourite.
9) I bought OoT the day it came out and I’ve never managed to get out of the Water Temple. I’ve read guides, YouTube. I’m stuck there forever.
10) I really love the Freescape engine. More games on that please developers.

That’s brilliant ty. I played Op Wolf a lot on my Speccy and me and my dad played Op Thunderbolt all way through on holiday in Spain, I even got a blood blister on my trigger finger. Good times!

You can press Y to bring up a map. It’s not amazing but can help sometimes.

I’m still playing but much prefer the 2D games as well. I really recommend trying some of the fan made games and rom hacks.

I check in with Pokémon GO! every day but I’ll delete it in a heartbeat if this is what happens.

I always feel like the timing on this is always kinda unavoidably terrible. I’m gonna drop £120 or whatever it is on my MLB.tv sub for the year. Then this game costs a gazillion, and I’ll buy packs. Then there’s 3+ hours of baseball to watch a day 🥳 and I gotta play The Show obsessively all while playing World of Warcraft as well. It’s a hard life.

It’s on my wish list so. I’ll download it if/when I take a break from buying G.I. Joes.

What’s next for me is handheld MLB The Show with better graphics which is a-o, a-o-k.

I won’t be getting one until there’s an OLED version.

I’ve got everything crossed for a Wave Race MMO RPG regardless.

That guy looks absolutely made up about his massive handheld and who wouldn’t be!

I’d love to see Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and A2 in HD that’d be amazing.

The raids are way too difficult for my liking but 5stsr sounds doable.

I’m guessing Horizon is one of those rolling about on the ground games Sony can’t seem to get enough of these days.

Star Fox, Kid Icarus, and Wario Land are the series without a Switch entry that you most want to see return. Of course, the correct answer was Wave Race.

Stop bringing all your top tier cards to beginner games plz. 😭

I’ve had terrible pulls and that’s making online play not fun. So yeah unless that changes I’ll not be playing much.

I’m not entirely convinced everyone is reviewing the same game.

No time to comments…battling.

I’ve opened I think 6 packs and one wonder thingy and that seems all I could do on day one. Very slick presentation but it’s a bit like the start of Animal Crossing waiting for the good stuff to start.

So this is how stability dies, with thunderous applause.

You can ask that I follow the rules sure.

I put a few hours into the first game and didn’t ’get it’ but I’ll I’m up for giving both another shot.
