Just got an OLED for Xmas and loving it. Was real worried about transferring my save data. Would the SD card data transfer? Would it even work from an Aussie Switch to a UK one? It was seamless.

I usually get one or two in every game in regular play. And a ton later of course.
First was a shiny Togepi from the egg in silver. I’ve got over 1000 atm, full shiny Dex for gens 1-4.

If you turn subtitles off you also lose subtitles where there’s no voice acting either, that needs fixing.

I played a couple hours, I completed it years ago and had a blast. I spend all my time second guessing my class/points choices tho, lol.

If you turn subtitles off you’re gonna have some weird moments where there’s no voice acting and the subtitles don’t come on so your looking at someone looking at you and nothing being said.

Got MtG Arena to tide me over until then.

I canceled my regular subscription as well, hopefully they get the message.

Was listening to NVC the other day and they said they were contacted by Nintendo correcting them that there may be more paid DLC and not to make assumptions. That’s my recollection anyway. Turns out IGN was correct so why did Nintendo do that?

It’s us that’s jumped the shark not Nintendo when we start mourning the lack of fog in N64 games.

Exactly. I think people are considering this as a one off payment when in fact you gotta pay this forever to maintain it. Also lots of different prices being thrown around. The upgraded sub plus Pokémon Home, yearly adds up. And if you’ve also got a PS4 or a Microsoft thing there’s gonna be a straw that breaks the camels back.

I’m actually reconsidering all my subs cos I feel like I’m getting nickel and dimed at this point.

Anyone else get their code from GAME and it doesn’t work?
I get the message ‘Your game can’t receive the gift provided by this code or password.’

I’ve not changed from my basic subscription but I seem to be getting N64 and Mega Drive for free. I had thought I needed to pay extra for a new sub that would include those with also AC DLC.

Edit: Ok I see what’s going on. It says free but when you download the stuff then it says ‘Hold it!’ you need a new subscription of $32 more to play these. Pretty sneaky cos by then you’re invested and downloaded the files. Naughty Nintendo.

N64 and Mega Drive both show as free on the store. Not what I was expecting. Maybe something to do with when my regular subscription renewed?

I’ve not heard of any patches yet but IGN podcast was scathing about the game on Switch. I’d definitely hold off buying for now.

I can recommend Planescape Torment if you’ve not played that before.

I burned out on WoW and Diablo 2 so I’m really just waiting for Pokémon BDSP atm. Got myself quite a few shinies this past week, wee bit of MTG Arena. Busy month next month though!

I have all of those on my Mega Drive Mini.
My two favourite MD games are Thunder Force IV and QuackShot.
