I'm fairly certain they'll add something that will tie X to the other games. Every game is already within the same universe. X's story about traveling through space could easily be added upon.

@LXP8 No. Even before that, there were already some frog games, it was just unnoticable at the time. Then ever since that, it just increased every year.

Good on them. I watched speedruns of Link's Awakening and it was so entertaining, especially the GDQ one where the runner died 3 times in-a-row because of falling boulders.

I want Level-5 games to do well, but they've delayed them so much that people barely talk about them. To think Fantasy Life i had already been set this October, only to get delayed like every other project they have. They never should've announced them so early.

The Japanese box makes it seem like Layton knows Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.

Everyone already knows it was meant for late 2024, they changed it to give more time for production and and to prevent the same thing that occured during the PS5 release.

@msvt US has been confirmed for some time already to have an actual cartridge with everything inside and no download required.

@BTB20 but they can though, already happened. To give you an example: in 2022 Playstation owners woke up and found something they had paid for and download on their systems have been completely erased, and they were given no compensation what-so-ever.

It's not as easy as "as long as accounts are linked". If it were that easy then PS5 users should still be playing digitally purchased PS3 games, or Switch owners still playing digitally purchased Wii U games. Sometimes licensing and other things unseen to users occur in the background.

What makes this collection so great is that to many of the titles this will be their very first ports to other systems, but also everything is on the disc/cart, requiring no download, making everything completely yours should the worst case scenario occur and Disney decides to remove the titles completely like what Konami did to P.T. which once erased cannot be redownloaded.

Also, you're kinda looking into my comment way too much. I said it as a passionate FGC fan with a long history with these titles.

Off the Hook for me felt like the best mix of design and personalities, and overall best songs during Splatfests.
