WWE 2K23 on PS5 was the first modern title I bought since the PS2 era. Surprised me how much I liked the controls and got me into wrestling games again, giving me good memories when me and my dad watched matches together.

Willing to pick this new title depending on reviews from certain people who specialize in these type of games.

They made it seem like only four are playable. Knowing there'll be three more still unknown characters is exciting.

Love the series so much.

@SuppressorSteve That's not looking good for Switch 2 at all, given a comparison to a brand new console to another console released five years ago.

@SuppressorSteve Sales data during the holiday period and a senior Nintendo source blaming an "absence of a major western release" says otherwise.

@SuppressorSteve 3 of those games can be played on other more powerful systems, 2 of those can be played on Switch 1. Besides, I meant for first party titles. Tomodachi Life and Mario Tennis are nice, but not the heavy hitters that Switch 2 needs. Hence the less impressive holiday console sales.

Switch 2 needs new game announcements. You can only get so far with Switch 2 upgrades.

Put in the effort and give it a little more dept and it'll be a hit with the Switch crowd.

There goes the Sands of Time Remake. All that waiting just for Ubisoft to say "Nah. It's not gonna make us filthy rich. Can it!"

Damn, Meta. Team was talented given their limits and budgets. They did excellent work on porting Spyro Reignited to Swtich.

Cool. I remember a couple other games that did something similar. Solatorobo on DS and Okami both gave you the impression that defeating the "final" boss will lead to the game's ending, only for a far larger story to suddenly emerge.

The same censorship exists in Smash Melee as well. The enemy is called a Topi. The Japanese version has a Topi trophy that appears like a seal, but in the US and EU version the Topi trophy appears as a yeti-like thing.

Monolith are masters when making open-world games for Nintendo. I can only hold my breath with anticipation at what they can do with Switch 2.

Why? Who was asking for this? Pretty much no one. Not even the people on other consoles bought it, as it was completely ignored with middling reviews.

Like Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft only made it with the assumption they had a guarantee smash hit. Only to get a big dose of reality instead when there was no demand and the trailers made them appear dull.

To think we could've had Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltales Series on Switch. It was officially announced too, until Telltales went under and it's release assumed to be cancelled.

Then my month is ruined. Nothing ever good happens at the end of December. Nothing!

No surprises. Metroid Prime was never a healthy-seller in Japan. I did Expect Octopath 0 to sell a bit more, but HD-2D games are all beginning to look the same now.

Switch 2 units are really getting up in numbers, making me think how big a boost it'll get during the week before Christmas.

With Square-Enix out of the picture, I just want a return to classic Lara that has sass, class and a pure sense of adventure.

Still on the fence on this. I love dark settings and themes, but the Japanese have really had me fed-up with the entire school setting trope.

Now, I'm kinda hoping this chracter will be this game's version of Resident Evil 4's Ashley Graham. And you got to escort him throughout the entire game.

@Kingy Not once did I ever mention Arc Raiders. Nor am I even fully against AI.

What I'm trying to say TTS is an entirely different system from AI voices. So, using that as a comparison are used by people who don't know how TTS works at all.

Even I play with AI alot, by making little pictures that I like, but I will never call myself an artist, nor do I even share the pucs to anyone else.

@Kingy It doesn't need it because there are no set characters to voice. Every character is made specifically by the player and each player has different ideas on what voice they want.

@Kingy How was that a good point when they're genuinely asking what's the difference between TTS and AI voices? Which you also don't seem to know, because both are completely different systems.

Like saying soup and soda are exactly the same because you drink both.

Also, what made you think voice acting is limited to video games, when the AI was trained to take from all sources from the past 80 or more years.

Fairly certain the hentai you're thinking about and the ones the Japanese love are none of these games. Calling these hentai is an insult to actual hentai.

Did these really need to be available for Switch 2 owners? Trash belongs in the trash.

I remember seeing ads for this game in gaming magazines. I though the title was so blunt and simple, it put me off the game, and I never realized til years later it was set in the old west. Like making a racing game and calling it "Race".

You guys didn't show Sakurai standing behind you, burning a hole through the back of your head as he silently judged your gameplay.

Chibi-Robo, obviously.

Though some of Nintendo's more mature titles like Metroid, Xenoblade and F-Zero could translate well into film.

Take their time. Build up each world and characters. Don't do what DC did and bungle everything up cause they were in a hurry to catch up with Marvel.

@Ainze We're talking about a Musou-style game, where attacks tend to be more violent and direct towards the enemy. Slow, tac-tics style feels less so, especially since nearly all attacks are projectiles from "not guns".

@somnambulance It'd be too violent for a Mario title, unless they make it really cartoony.

I give it a 3 out of 10. This is the worst Mario game I've ever played.

@Member_the_game oh, okay. According to the AI summary, the changes are to make them legally distinct. So, certain things may be hard to notice.

@Member_the_game I'll take your word for it. I know nothing about the sport aside from the names that are THAT big. I just read what the AI search gave to me as no other article could give a straight answer.

Can't wait to hear Vin Diesel as Rosalina and Benedict Cumberbatch as Yoshi.

@Kroko I assumed that was the case, but I decided to look into it. I learned that some players and teams are still present like Real Madrid and Messi. However, EA is only paying for names that they know will sell and are using fake names for teams, players and stadiums that aren't a priority. I didn't think that was something they can do.

@Pillowpants Might not be in a way we expect. Last I heard EA reported that it performed below expectations. I'm assuming from microtransactions due to lack of player names.

NA. Gives the idea of a pocket-sized world. Never realized both used the same picture except Japans' cut it in half and placed on opposite ends.

To think a little more time to wait until Metroid Prime 4. Just don't get hit by a stray lightning bolt or get ambushed by velociraptors til then.
