Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition?

@BlackenedHalo
First of all, nobody cares about the car collision, and the barracks customization is meaningless as you know you won't be spending much time in there.

The definitive edition having a dedicated screen for swapping out party members at any time. Changing the time of day. The majority of missions no longer forcing you to have specific party members. Faster loading times. Lin now having a human face.

Even the developer's realized their errors and made the game feel more free and not put uneeded restrictions. There is absolutely no reason to return to the Wii U version.

I'm so relieved that Konami didn't bungle this up. I was worried why the reveal and release took so long that I assumed the worst.

No one is sure why it did take so long, but even if the worst did happen, then Konami put the time and effort to make the games as faithful as they can with better visuals.

One of my favorite memories of the game is when an NPC asks me to find an item they dropped in the vast wilderness. It was still fairly early in the game and I assumed it was a quick, easy mission. I track the item location and realize to my horror that it is in front of a pack of sleeping monsters that are 20 levels higher than me.

I did the ol' grab and dash and prayed they targeted my team mates rather than me.

Good times. (:
