@Dr_Lugae That's a false dicotomy. They are earning profits, almost every major publisher. They don't need to raise prices nor include lootboxes. They do it because they just want more money. They need to show investors that income and profits go up every year. There is nothing else to it. They don't want to earn their fair share, they want it all, as much as they can get. And grow, and grow and grow, even if it is so obviously impossible. Capitalism unleashed.
I started Super Mario Maker 2, just to play a couple of levels. I'd like to finish Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Purgatory, got it on hold since the first week of december... But mainly I'd want to play Split/Fiction, but that depends if the friend I play Hazelight's games with is available.
It's very ugly and bland. Pretty sad. Arceus was technicallywise very lacking, but its art was good enough to save it visually (most of the time anyway). This is mobile free to play run of the mill mediocrity
It's sad how bad it looks. Seems like a f2p mobile game, which is a shame being the great game it is. I still might get it for the sake of collecting, but it's a bad remaster graphics wise.
After finishing A Plague Tale: Requiem, on PS5, I'm now with Astro Bot and I having a blast. Amazing game, everyone should play if able, more so platformers lovers and especially those who enjoy/love Mario 3D games.
The gamefeel is simply put, perfect, varied gameplay and stages, looks fantastic... It's a gem.
My main focus will be A Plague Tale: Requiem on PS5, which is being underwelming with dated mechanics and uninteresting level design. And then I might play a bit of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Purgatory, I'm about to end the second chapter of five and so far, it's great. Very well written, interesting, cool art and a treat if you are a fan of the lore.
I won't be playing much so I'll just play bits of Flat Heroes (great, give it a try) and Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Purgatory, which as far as I can tell seems to be even better than Heart of the Forest.
Sadly, nothing. Again. Luckily, I'll be able to play a lot for around ten days starting on wednesday. I'd need to use that time well to make up for the last weeks.
I wasn´t really sure about the game, although I was gonna buy it for sure because these guys are awesome, but this interview has opened my eyes and now I'm really interested on playing it. (Go buy The Last Door, it is truly a great little adventure game).
Roll7 was profitable, made audience and critics alike loved games, and yet, they get shut down by a company with huge profits and a CEO whose earnings jumped from $16m TO $46m.
Stop repeating the lies and half-truths of Mochizuki. He hasn't stepped down, he got a promotion. And Saito has been producing Dragon Quest since DQ III. Mochizuki is a master in disinformation because no outlet really cares, a good headline at getting clicks is all that matters...

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Nintendo Switch 2 Special
None. The huge red band is horrible. Too big and it eats the art.
And don't get me started with all the crap on the Switch games.

Guess they have to compensate somehow the bloated prices.
Re: "Don't Let Nintendo Ruin The Entire Industry" - Is $80 For Mario Kart World A Bridge Too Far?

Re: "Don't Let Nintendo Ruin The Entire Industry" - Is $80 For Mario Kart World A Bridge Too Far?
The prices are outrageous. I can't get my head around it. So pissed off and sad
Re: Nintendo Expects You To Pay For Its Switch 2 "Welcome Tour" User Guide
They're out of their mind. Paid welcome tour, 90€ games, 90€ pads...
I feel betrayed. And I hope it blows up on teir faces.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Kirby: Nightmare In Dream Land (GBA)
Angry Kirby is wrong. Another shame on America's résumé.
And it seems appropriate only because the western title was changed.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (23rd November)
I won't be playing much so I'll just play bits of Flat Heroes (great, give it a try) and Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Purgatory, which as far as I can tell seems to be even better than Heart of the Forest.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Double Dragon (NES)
Ugly and uglier.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Hatris
They're both incredibly ugly, being the american one the ugliest.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (9th November)
Jusant on ps5 and Pokemon TCG on my phone for me
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (2nd November)
The excellent Banishers: Ghost of New Town. Such a shame that it sold so poorly. It deserved much better
Re: Review: Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge Of The Seven (Switch) - A Remake That's Equally Intriguing & Underwhelming
@Pillowpants I don't think it is. You can take a look yourself with the demo.
Of course there are better combat systems out there, but it is good.

This time I'm going with North America. Donkey and Diddy and a rope. Simple, nice, and conveys that feeling of looking out for things.

Games that sell millions and a survey with a small fraction of that pool of players. Yeah, undoubtedbly significant.
Re: Talking Point: Would You Want Quality And Performance Options For Nintendo's 'Switch 2' Games?
F that crap. I'l play it as they intend, don't put on me the responsability of how the game should be played.
Re: Talking Point: 'Remake' Vs. 'Remaster' - What's Your Definition?
Just gimme 60 fps in the games that originally had them. And in the ones that didn't that are TWENTY years old.
Thanks

Long live sport games!
