I know it deserves a lot of merit for developing this almost on his own but I also believe the praise its got here is undeserved. It is not a bad game but it is not particularly good and to say it's got plenty of variety... almost feels like a lie tbh.
It's an ok game and his dev deserves praise for making it alone, but I sadly don't see the greatness anywhere.
@GG11 I know he doesn't owe us anything and if you read my comment again you should see that I'm criticizing the image and the community reaction to it which I find over the top, not mr. Barone.
@Darkwario1 Yeah, I was starting to think I was the only grumpy around. The screenshot doesn't say anything, it's not very nice, seems like a rpgmaker game... what is to like beyond the "progress is going well"?
@Rainz It is fully voiced (and very well). It's not exactly a visual novel, you move around and have to explore the world but, as I said, there is a lot of text/voice. If you like roleplaying and investigating, it's a must.
I've played the first chapter of the Triangle Strategy demo and the Kirby demo. Also, I started NEO The World Ends With You and keep at it with the remake of Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga.
I've - finally - played SNES Donkey Kong Country till the end, on Switch. And now I don't know if I´ll continue my Fire Emblem Fates game or The Last Door: Season 2.
I finally played it this week and what a letdown. The dual screen mechanic was a mistake. Yes, you can get used to it eventually but that could be said pretty much about anything. It's not well thought, it's overly complicated and it doesn't work well. It was a mistake. Sounds good on paper but...
Finished this past weekend and boy, it is a great game. I'm happy that I supported it on KS and then bought it on Switch (choosing PC and the forgetting to change the plataform was a mistake), they deserve that and more.
Their previous games, The Last Door 1&2, weren't as beautiful but they were almost as good. Check them out (PC & mobile only), they're nice little point & click games.
Oh my god, since when 10h means short game?? If it was any kind of rpg I could agree (most are longer than they should, or deserve) but this kind of game? No way.
I finished Luigi's Mansion 3 on Thursday, ir was it on Wednesday?, then almost finished Gris but this weekend and the days to come I only got eyes for Death Stranding
I miss these ones: Donkey Kong Country 2 Donkey Kong Country 3 Super Tennis International Superstar Soccer Terranigma Secret of Evermore
And the ones with copyrights that were impossible: Turtles in Time Super Star Wars Super Empire Strikes Back Super Return of the Jedi Aladdin Killer Instinct Indiana Jones ...
@AlphaJaguar I know all that (btw, It's Tembo ), read my previous comment carefully, the fact that now they are publishing games with other companies is at least a bit strange. More so given the fact that they don't even release them on Nintendo platforms. Does it seem normal to you given their close relationship with Nintendo?
Well, I think we all are on the same page about the quality of his releases but I don't like what the article tries to do even if it is constantly trying to feel fair. Focusing on just one developer feels like some sort of vendetta.
This is not the way to bring things out of the dark.
Something must be off between Nintendo and Game Freak when the latter doesn't publish on Nintendo platforms. I wonder if they just keep making Pokémon for Nintendo just because of contracts.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 10th)
If I play, it'd probably be a little bit of Fire Emblem Fates and Mighty Milky Way
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 3rd)
Yesterday I finished Pumpkin Jack. Disappointing.
And today and tomorrow I might try a couple of games on the 3DS: Mighty Milky Way, Maestro and Pictopics. And perhaps I'll resume Fire Emblem Fates

Re: Video: 14 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In September 2022
Splatoon and Shovel Knight are the only ones that interest me. And, perhaps, DioField
Re: Talking Point: Which Nintendo Series Would Work Best As A Free-To-Play Game?
Screw f2p, the worst thing that has happened to gaming

If I get to play a little bit it will be No More Heroes III. 4 killers left in the ranking
Re: Review: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - Kirby's First Brush With 3D Is Still A Charmer
Well, I couldn't agree less with the review. One of the biggest letdowns on the platform and the worst Kirby by a long shot, the only one bad.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 12th)
@Rainz Glad to cost you money XD

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 12th)
@Rainz
I'm not really sure, I'm playing it on PC
But the game is awesome. Just know that it's basically reading all the time.

If I get some time, which I doubt, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (3DS remake).
Well, and I've already played a little bit Tappingo.

Not getting a lot of game time lately, but I'm mostly focusing on Lego Batman 2

You don't even buy the jpg, just the nft that says that image is yours.
Re: Troy Baker Partners With NFT Firm, Asks If Fans Want To "Hate" Or "Create"
Hate, of course.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 25th Holiday Special)
I’m trying to get the two spirits I’m still missing on Smash but they just don’t pop up. Getting a little angry tbh
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 29th)
I've finished The Longest Road on Earth (it was a nice experience) and I'll probably play some Werewolf Earthblood, Blood Bowl and Pyre.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 28th)
I've - finally - played SNES Donkey Kong Country till the end, on Switch.

I'm really fed up with this vision.

Re: Review: Jotun: Valhalla Edition (Wii U eShop)

@TheWPCTraveler I'm sorry but that's ridiculous.
Re: Nintendo Download: 28th July (Europe)
Nothing for me, which is not on the list.
Re: Etrian Odyssey V's DLC Gets Detailed And Dated For Japan
I don't like this trend of "if you don't want to grind a lot, you can pay to ease the pain". Not a bit.
Re: Feature: Our Top 20 Highest Rated 3DS eShop Games
Yikes, got most of them.
Re: Interview: Image & Form Gives Us the Full Lowdown on the SteamWorld Heist: The Outsider DLC
I'm not usually a fan of dlc but this one I'll be downloading on thursday. Great excuse to come back to Heist
Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2016 - Spring Edition
Fire Emblem Fates and both Dragon Quest games for me
Re: Poll: The Utterly Charming Animal Crossing Series Is 15 Today, But Which Is Your Favourite?
None, I don't like this series even a bit. I find it boring.
Re: Abylight Is Aware Of Demand For A 3DS Port Of Locomalito's Maldita Castilla
I would totally pay for them on 3DS.
Re: Five Additional Wii U Releases Confirmed for Nintendo Selects Range in Europe
Yeah, I'll finally get LEGO City Undercover
Re: Nine Nintendo Titles Pass One Million Sales For This Financial Year
