I finally played it this week and what a letdown. The dual screen mechanic was a mistake. Yes, you can get used to it eventually but that could be said pretty much about anything. It's not well thought, it's overly complicated and it doesn't work well. It was a mistake. Sounds good on paper but...
Finished this past weekend and boy, it is a great game. I'm happy that I supported it on KS and then bought it on Switch (choosing PC and the forgetting to change the plataform was a mistake), they deserve that and more.
Their previous games, The Last Door 1&2, weren't as beautiful but they were almost as good. Check them out (PC & mobile only), they're nice little point & click games.
Oh my god, since when 10h means short game?? If it was any kind of rpg I could agree (most are longer than they should, or deserve) but this kind of game? No way.
I finished Luigi's Mansion 3 on Thursday, ir was it on Wednesday?, then almost finished Gris but this weekend and the days to come I only got eyes for Death Stranding
I miss these ones: Donkey Kong Country 2 Donkey Kong Country 3 Super Tennis International Superstar Soccer Terranigma Secret of Evermore
And the ones with copyrights that were impossible: Turtles in Time Super Star Wars Super Empire Strikes Back Super Return of the Jedi Aladdin Killer Instinct Indiana Jones ...
@AlphaJaguar I know all that (btw, It's Tembo ), read my previous comment carefully, the fact that now they are publishing games with other companies is at least a bit strange. More so given the fact that they don't even release them on Nintendo platforms. Does it seem normal to you given their close relationship with Nintendo?
Well, I think we all are on the same page about the quality of his releases but I don't like what the article tries to do even if it is constantly trying to feel fair. Focusing on just one developer feels like some sort of vendetta.
This is not the way to bring things out of the dark.
Something must be off between Nintendo and Game Freak when the latter doesn't publish on Nintendo platforms. I wonder if they just keep making Pokémon for Nintendo just because of contracts.
1- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze 2- The Wonderful 101 3- Super Mario 3D World 4- Bayonetta 2 5- Mario Kart 8 6- Rayman Legends 7- Zelda: Wind Waker 8- New Super Mario Bros. U 9- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 10- Pikmin 3
Haven't played Yoshi's Woolly World and Splatoon. And yes, I do have Smash Bros (the only one un The series I haven't enjoyed) and Super Mario Maker.
@shani Sure, no problem. I've beaten Batman Arkham City GOTY edition, Arkham Origins and its cold, cold heart dlc, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North (not very good), Darksiders (I really liked it, it truly is a Zelda-like adventure), W40,000: Space Marine (simple but fun), LA Noire (not perfect but very enjoyable), Gauntlet (fun in multi) and I believe that's all.
I'll pass. I still haven't gotten Woolly World, Pikmin 3, Project Zero 5 and Splatoon (which I'm not sure about) and Xenoblade is coming soon. With all these (plus 3DS and steam games) I don't have time for Rodea.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is probably the best Super Mario and without a doubt, the best 3D one.
Such an amazing game, too bad they probably don't have enough fresh ideas for a third entry in the series (can't blame them for that though). Hopefully some day they will.
@manwithoutfear Actually, we always have a favorite child, it's just that it makes us feel bad about it or we just refuse to think about it... because we already know there is "a chosen one".

I'm really fed up with this vision.

Re: Review: Jotun: Valhalla Edition (Wii U eShop)
The game is pretty good but for me far from excellent. I'd give it a 7.

Re: Etrian Odyssey V's DLC Gets Detailed And Dated For Japan
@TheWPCTraveler I'm sorry but that's ridiculous.
Re: Nintendo Download: 28th July (Europe)
Nothing for me, which is not on the list.
Re: Etrian Odyssey V's DLC Gets Detailed And Dated For Japan
I don't like this trend of "if you don't want to grind a lot, you can pay to ease the pain". Not a bit.
Re: Feature: Our Top 20 Highest Rated 3DS eShop Games
Yikes, got most of them.
Re: Interview: Image & Form Gives Us the Full Lowdown on the SteamWorld Heist: The Outsider DLC
I'm not usually a fan of dlc but this one I'll be downloading on thursday. Great excuse to come back to Heist
Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2016 - Spring Edition
Fire Emblem Fates and both Dragon Quest games for me
Re: Poll: The Utterly Charming Animal Crossing Series Is 15 Today, But Which Is Your Favourite?
None, I don't like this series even a bit. I find it boring.
Re: Abylight Is Aware Of Demand For A 3DS Port Of Locomalito's Maldita Castilla
I would totally pay for them on 3DS.
Re: Five Additional Wii U Releases Confirmed for Nintendo Selects Range in Europe
Yeah, I'll finally get LEGO City Undercover
Re: Nine Nintendo Titles Pass One Million Sales For This Financial Year
So... Majora's Mask 3D didn't sell one million?
Re: Poll: Which Nintendo Franchises Do You Most Want to See With the NX Launch?
Metroid, Donkey Kong 2D and Luigi's Mansion.
Re: Image & Form Hails SteamWorld Heist as "an Even Bigger Success Than SteamWorld Dig"
I'm very happy to hear it. It's a great game, they deserve the success.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (Wii U eShop / DS)
The dungeons were great, better than Phantom Hourglass', but the overworld was not and the fluye was a pain.
Re: Rare Wanted To Do amiibo-Style Toys During The N64 Era
I'd insta-buy a Conker and a Banjo-Kazooie amiibos. Oh, and a Joanna Dark one too.
Re: Review: Trauma Team (Wii U eShop / Wii)
I hope it reaches Europe this time.
Re: Feature: Five Star Wars Games, on Nintendo, That Are Strong in the Force
Ugh, The Force Unleashed II is a very mediocre game. I don't think it belongs in that list.
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th December (Europe)
Von Sottendorf, Lone Survivor, Stealth Inc. 2 and Fractured Soul for me. And maybe The Swindle and Phoenix Wright trilogy. Awesome week, and discounts
Re: Poll: Nintendo's Free-to-Play Experiments - Are You Still Playing?
They are addictive crap. I wish Nintendo would stop wasting resources in developing these hideous cash-grabs.
Re: Feature: Our Top Wii U Games - Third Anniversary Edition
My votes:
Bayonetta 2
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
The Wonderful 101
Re: Feature: Our Top 10 Wii U Retail Games - Third Anniversary Edition
My top ten would be something like this:
1- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
2- The Wonderful 101
3- Super Mario 3D World
4- Bayonetta 2
5- Mario Kart 8
6- Rayman Legends
7- Zelda: Wind Waker
8- New Super Mario Bros. U
9- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
10- Pikmin 3
Haven't played Yoshi's Woolly World and Splatoon. And yes, I do have Smash Bros (the only one un The series I haven't enjoyed) and Super Mario Maker.
Re: Mega Man Legacy Collection Gets a Budget Price as a Download-Only Release in Europe
Nice, I'll sure get it.
Re: Review: Rodea the Sky Soldier (Wii U)
@shani Sure, no problem. Re: Poll: Did The Nintendo Direct Comeback Fire on All Cylinders?
DRAGON QUEST. They won me with those two.
Re: Review: Rodea the Sky Soldier (Wii U)
I'll pass. I still haven't gotten Woolly World, Pikmin 3, Project Zero 5 and Splatoon (which I'm not sure about) and Xenoblade is coming soon. With all these (plus 3DS and steam games) I don't have time for Rodea.
Re: Review: Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets (3DS)
Crap, I really wanted this one to be good
Re: Review: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden (3DS)
Played the demo. That was enough for me to know it is boring. Someday they'll make a good one, until then I pass.
Re: Video Game Voice Actors Contemplate Strike Action Over Pay and Conditions
Sounds reasonable.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th September (Europe)
Lone Survivor for me (already have and beaten The Swapper, Thomas, OlliOlli and Stealth 2 on steam).
Re: Feature: Have You Played... ZombiU?
I have it. Pretty good game, underrated indeed. Worth the Price of admission.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Life's Top 10 Super Mario Platformers
No NSMB U, no party
To me the best one is Super Mario Galaxy 2, so good and incredibly imaginative.
Re: Interview: Yosuke Oshino On The Origins And Evolution Of Super Mario Maker
I'm gonna spend all sunday long playing it. It's gonna be a blast!
Re: Plague of Shadows Catching on All Systems Next Week
My body is ready!
It looks like it's gonna be pretty fun to control and quite different to the knight with a shovel.
Re: Mario History: Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 2010
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is probably the best Super Mario and without a doubt, the best 3D one.
Such an amazing game, too bad they probably don't have enough fresh ideas for a third entry in the series (can't blame them for that though). Hopefully some day they will.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th September (Europe)
Nothing for me. I want Mario Maker on disc.
