Awesome news. I didn't expect this price, and with all dlc! I already wanted it but now it's a day one purchase. Well done Atlus. Now make something like Radiant Historia (original and great).
@Yosher I really don't like 3DS and GC Mario Tennis because their gameplay is horrrible. I like much more the tennis in the GBA game, it is a lot closer to the real game than on the others. Those boring and incredibly repetitive supershots and neverending points... ugh.
Looks nice but I didn't like Canvas Curse so I won't be getting this one. It's not a big deal having Yoshi, Guacamelee, Shovel Knight, Rayman Legends on my to play list.
No they won't. The game looks old and mediocre (I'm not saying it is, just how it LOOKS) and won't have a big marketing push so... no, it won't sell much and it certainly won't be a system seller.
Just look at The Wonderful 101 or even the amazing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
@Samurairu actually that's not a problem for me. Lately I've been enjoying more playing shorter (but good) games. I still play games that will take many hours but usually they are non-absorbent games like DK: Tropical Freeze, I can play one or two stages and be done, unlike Deus Ex/Wind Waker/SC: Blacklist which you have to play for a while in order to advance.
In fact, I'm really looking forward to Tengami
My problem with Armillo is that it doesn't seem fun to me
@electrolite77 the momentum might not get to 2015 although I hope it does.
I don't want to sound like a hater or just too negative but after years of watching this industry I don't consider those signs of recovery that important.
And lets not forget that Far Cry 4, AC Unity, FIFA 15, Rainbow Six Seige, The Division, The Crew, The Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, GTA V, MGS V and many others aren't coming to WiiU. That is a HUGE handicap which I'm afraid Nintendo won't be able to overcome.
Sadly I now am sure that it'll struggle. Not only has its biggest seller, Mario Kart, moved less systems than needed but they haven't show any game that will shift the focus to the console.
I love what they have shown and probably buy all or most of the games but they are not system sellers. Does anybody believe that Captain Toad is that kind of game? Or Yoshi? We know (sadly and unfarely) Bayonetta and Xenoblade aren't. And Smash? It is great, it is shaping up wonderful BUT the 3DS is getting it too and the GC also had a a great one...
Right now WiiU's only hopes are:
A price drop that ain't happening
A system defining game we haven't seen yet
The new Zelda really kicks a**.
Meanwhile I'll just enjoy all the great games it has on offer.
@HarryK The problem is that with fewer Ones than WiiUs publishers sell more games on One. And that is in no small part due to the difference in power and also the fact that people buy Nintendo hardware to play Nintendo games.
@AltDotNerd Seriously? Can you tell is good just looking at these designs? Because the latest FF games on Nintendo consoles are average at best (Crystal Bearers, Echoes of Time...).
The game looks great. I enjoyed Toad's Super Mario 3D World levels a lot despite them being quite easy. I'm certainly going to get this one. Mini-carts! Trains! BOSSES! Well done Nintendo. It doesn't sound like a heavy hitter but it surely will be very fun.
I don't think Nintendo did that great and I'm really surprised about Splatoon's reception. That doesn't mean that Sony or MS did a better job. Non-gameplay videos are junk although effective to fool most gamers and shooters-shooters-shooters is getting tired.
I have a WiiU and I'm not planning on getting a ps4 nor a One. Maybe in two or three years I'll get a ps4 to play some of its exclusives. Meanwhile, PC+WiiU+3DS is my combo.

Re: Shin Megami Tensei IV Set For September Release In Europe, Pleasingly Low Price Confirmed
Awesome news. I didn't expect this price, and with all dlc!

Re: Captain Toad Won't Be Tracking Treasure In Europe Until Next Year
Crap! I really want this game. I guess Nintendo doesn't want this either, it's gonna sell much less.
Re: Atlus Teases New Game Announcements Plus Brand New IP
I hope is something new and fresh like Radiant Historia was. No more Etrian and SMT please.
Re: Bravely Default Flutters Gracefully Past The One Million Copies Sold Mark
I'm glaf it sold well but it's a game very overrated. Nostalgia blinded the press. It is far from perfect. SE has a lot to improve in Bravely Second.
Re: Nintendo Download: 31st July (Europe)
Lots of crap. I might get Rage of the Gladiator.
Re: Feature: Ten Wii U and 3DS eShop Games That Are Perfect For Summer
I don't like the 3DS selection.
Re: The Link Outfit and Gear in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is Almost Too Cool
Looks great.
Re: You Won't Need To Track Too Much Treasure To Buy Captain Toad
I hope it is priced between 30€ and 40€. Anyway, I'm sure I'll get it.
Re: Feature: Ten Wii U and 3DS Games That Are Perfect For Summer
The Wonderful 101 is a gem that should have sold much better. All hail Platinum Games!
Some of the best games of the last generation are theirs and one of the new one, yes, The Wonderful 101 is among the best games on One, ps4 and WiiU.
Can't wait to play Bayonetta 2 _
Re: Mario Kart 8 Sales Increase By Nearly a Third in UK, Moves Back Up the Charts
@Superstick DLC? Only if free. Nintendo's paid dlcs are a rip off (Fire Emblem: Awakening and New Super Mario Bros. 2 come to mind).
Re: Timespinner Looks Like an Awesome Pixel-Based 2D Metroidvania, and It's Coming to 3DS
Awesome I was hoping it was announced for 3DS
I'll buy it.
Re: Master Reboot to Arrive on the Wii U eShop on 24th July
Sounds interesting.
Re: Bayonetta 2 Environmental Artist Outlines Sources of Inspiration, Including Gorgeous Screenshots
I hope this one doesn't bomb like The Wondeful 101 (great game, bad demo) did. Platinum has become my favorite developer with Nintendo.
Re: Review: Mario Power Tennis (Wii U eShop / Game Boy Advance)
@Yosher I really don't like 3DS and GC Mario Tennis because their gameplay is horrrible. I like much more the tennis in the GBA game, it is a lot closer to the real game than on the others. Those boring and incredibly repetitive supershots and neverending points... ugh.
Plus, I miss the rpg component. It was neat.
Re: Feature: Ronimo Games Walks Us Through Swords & Soldiers II
@Ralek85 I have a PC and I prefer to play it on the WiiU. For me the off-tv is a gift from the gods.
Re: Review: Mario Power Tennis (Wii U eShop / Game Boy Advance)
The best Mario Tennis. Not the crap that the 3DS and Wii/GC ones are.
Re: Best Buy Gearing Up For Enticing Buy One Get One Free 3DS Game Promotion
That's awesome. I would get Pokemon Y and Kirby Triple Deluxe. Too bad we're not getting something like this in Europe.
Re: Wii U Version Of Project CARS Drops To The Back Of The Starting Grid
Holy crap. This again? I hope they won't say they will not support the console more because of the poor sales that Project Cars is going to get.
Re: First Impressions: Moulding Clay With Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Looks nice but I didn't like Canvas Curse so I won't be getting this one. It's not a big deal having Yoshi, Guacamelee, Shovel Knight, Rayman Legends on my to play list.
Re: Tomonubu Itagaki Thinks Gamers Will Buy A Wii U Just For Devil’s Third
No they won't. The game looks old and mediocre (I'm not saying it is, just how it LOOKS) and won't have a big marketing push so... no, it won't sell much and it certainly won't be a system seller.
Just look at The Wonderful 101 or even the amazing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
Re: Mighty No. 9 Has Another Crowdfunding Campaign, in Addition to Pre-Orders
That's way too much money for that. This is disrespectful.
Re: Interview: Yoshifumi Hashimoto Tells Us a Story of Seasons and Harvest Moons
Very good interview! Very enjoyable.
Re: Review: Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (3DS)
@Link506 I know, but that's what it seems.
Re: EA Explains Why Its Abandoning Dedicated Handhelds For Smartphones And Tablets
My long-term strategy is to keep playing on dedicated devices.
Re: Review: Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (3DS)
Hmm, DS graphics... lazy?
Re: Interview: Bertil Hörberg Jumps Back Into the Saddle With Gunman Clive 2
It's great to hear that his next game will also be for 3DS
As for GC2, I'll download it on day one.
Re: First Impressions: Taking Sonic Boom for a Spin on Wii U and 3DS
I don't care about either of them.
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th June (Europe)
Nothing for me this week, which is fine because steam sales are building my backlog up to the sky...
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Should Beware the Slippery Slope of Sponsored DLC
As long as it doesn't become frequent, I don't mind. It's also important that they aren't an integral part of the experience.
Re: Nintendo Open To Minecraft on Wii U and 3DS, and Expanding Its Popularity in Japan
I don't care about Minecraft but Nintendo needs it on WiiU ASAP.

Re: Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition Release Details Pinned Down
I'll get it but when I clear my WiiU backlog a bit (my whole backlog won't ever be clear).
Re: Armillo Release Date and Launch Discount Details Confirmed
It's a good price (which makes me wonder how long the game will be) but the game doesn't convince me, it doesn't seem very fun.
Re: Food-Focused RPG Adventure Bar Story Is Munching Its Way To The 3DS
Souns interesting but also like it's a grind-a-lot game, which is not that interesting.
Re: Bayonetta Anime Film Will be Distributed in United States and Canada
Cool. More Bayonetta is always good.
Re: Interview: DrinkBox Studios On Bringing Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition to Wii U
I haven't bought it on gog.com for just $4 because of this WiiU version
Re: Nintendo Needs To Cut Wii U Cost To Capitalise On Mario Kart 8 Success, Says Ubisoft CEO
@micronean the sales of Watch_Dogs on One and ps4 contradict your statement.

Re: Guide: The Biggest Wii U and 3DS Retail Games Coming In 2014
I don't know how I'll buy them all: Super Smash Bros., Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad, Fantasy Life, Watch_Dogs and Shin Megami Tensei IV.
Re: Review: Van Helsing sniper Zx100 (3DS eShop)
What is this crap?

Re: Final Fantasy Explorers Official Website Opens
I like those character designs but the game doesn't interest me. Give us something fresh SE (or DQ VII).
Re: Grezzo Seeks New Employees Asking If They Want to Create a 'Legend'
If it's not Majora's Mask 3D (I hope it is), it'd be great if it were a new exciting ip.
Re: Eiji Aonuma Plans To Shake Up the Puzzle Formula in The Legend of Zelda for Wii U
I'm ok with it, shake it but please, don't break it.
Re: First Impressions: Solving the Puzzle of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
The game looks great. I enjoyed Toad's Super Mario 3D World levels a lot despite them being quite easy. I'm certainly going to get this one. Mini-carts! Trains! BOSSES!
Well done Nintendo. It doesn't sound like a heavy hitter but it surely will be very fun.
Re: First Impressions: Enjoying the Craft of Yoshi's Woolly World
A sure-fire must-have for me. Platformers and Zelda is the heart of Nintendo and the reason I keep choosing their hardware.
Re: Feature: A Cross-Platform Look At E3 2014
I don't think Nintendo did that great and I'm really surprised about Splatoon's reception. That doesn't mean that Sony or MS did a better job. Non-gameplay videos are junk although effective to fool most gamers and shooters-shooters-shooters is getting tired.
I'll stick with my PC and my U.
