I can't wait for Kirby Air Ride to get added, playing that game with online multiplayer will be so AWESOME!!

And also I really hope they add Animal Crossing, that game is a must!

Whoever that new character is, she'll probably be added as DLC in Mario Kart World.

If there is like, literally no difference between the two versions then I'm just gonna buy the Switch 1 version since Switch 2 is backwards compatible, that way I can play without being limited to just the Switch 2 when I visit someone's home.

Missed opportunity for SEGA to offer us a 3DS remake for Sonic x Shadow Generations as an alternate Story Mode pack. All those other awesome stages still remain locked in the 3DS version of Sonic Generations, what a shame...

Hopefully this will let me enjoy a wider range when I play Mario Kart Live Circuit. The range on the Switch 1 is atrocious.

Unfortunate for all the peeps complaining about the prices but this is the new standard and they aren't going to back down on it. Making games in todays age has gotten very expensive so naturally this was bound to happen. If you still want good high quality games then this is the price we gotta pay to get them. Nintendo has entered the 4KHD 120fps world and so this is the price we must pay in exchange. Any sales (if any since Nintendo rarely does them) will not be that much lower in price, and most likely any retailers taking in trade-ins will still be reselling the games at a higher price as well as anyone reselling their copies online on Amazon or eBay.
Consider this, if you wanna buy a game now and then save money for another game later, just take part of that second game's money to buy the first game. Better get used to saving and spending larger amounts of money cause this is a permanent change.

I remember playing Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga on my GameCube's Game Boy Player. A second player can use the second controller to control Luigi so getting to co-op the battles was so much fun! Is to bad that is no longer possible with NSO GBA since player two just loads up their own separate GBA screen instead of having the option to screenshare like with the NES/SNES/N64 NSO apps.
(Well online is not possible, but I haven't tried local so maybe it can still be played co-op?)

For that price?! Way to pricey imo. I'd rather spend 320 dollars on a life-size statue of Gardevoir (though we all know that would be priced on the quadruple digits...)

I will admit, I 100% agree with what Grant Kirkhope said. Die hard fans will have their expectations unrealistically high due to todays standards. They been spoiled by modern day graphics, smoother FPS, and processing power, All while being heavily clouded by nostalgia. There may never be a way to please them with a new entry in this day and age. But even so, there is still a chance, there is still a window of opportunity to actually pull it off and give the series a good sequel, but is a bit of a stretch at this point unless the team creating it knows full well what they are doing and how to do it properly. My hopes is that we may someday get a new game, but my expectations is that we probably never will get a new game.

Nintendo certainly making themselves look bad by stating that hypocritical statement. I still think back on how the didn't properly credit the creators of the DK rap in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

I find it hilarious how people flat out refuse to accept that Mario Kart Tour could actual be THE Mario Kart 9 and that this next one could possibly be Mario Kart 10.
You gotta admit though, Mario Kart X is actually a pretty cool new name for this entry.

I assume that is probably games that save directly into the system and not per profile that will be incompatible, such as "1, 2, Switch" or "Animal Crossing: New Horizons".

I don't think that last character in the far back is King Boo, it looks a lot more like Diddy Kong to me, which would make more sense than King Boo anyways if you think about it.

I'm not too surprised, considering Nintendo hasn't been allowing Amazon to do pre-order of their games the past year is possible that may or may not be related to this issue.

Switch cards are very well clipped inside, they don't usually rattle.

I think at this point we have a higher chance of seeing Stanley from Donkey Kong 3 and even that is a bit of a stretch. I highly doubt Spike is coming back in the sequel, though they could still reference him by name only.
But, there is always a chance they could have a flashback scene with Spike in it, who knows.

Dude, DK64 with online multiplayer would be EPIC! I really hope we get that game soon!

Japanese gaming companies need to smart up and make their games with English included and have them ready and accessible for people to buy and import them directly from their country. This kind of censorship is, sadly, going to keep happening and is likely going to get worst.

Idk this seems very farfetched to me... I don't buy it, it sounds like false advertisement. This vendor just might be trying to pull a scam by labeling it "Switch 2" accessories.

Ofcourse Nintendo would be on the top, they are fantastic to work for. The previous President CEO (Satoru Iwata) gave himself a paycut just so that no one at Nintendo would loose their jobs, if that does not speak high volumes of them, then idk what would.

I do hate that Nintendo now prefers that tiki mask enemy thing as DK's main antagonist and continues to leave King K. Rool in the shadows as if they were trying to get the Kremlings to be completely forgotten.

But still no Origins... feels kinda incomplete imo.

He now has the bragging rights to gloat about how he got sued by Nintendo and is left in crippling dept for life, he totally earned it.

Kinda feels like Mario is controlling everything and Luigi is just following his orders... it don't feel right... it needs to be patched with an update so it would be an option in the game's settings for veteran players.

I was wondering why Amazon suddenly stopped doing pre-orders for Nintendo games... that question is yet to be answered but at least we get to do it again. They deliver on release day which is what I love about them.

I really wish and hope they will make this new version available also in the Nintendo Switch, is not like they haven't added mobile games on to Switch before so they totally can if they wanted to.

Games in the N64 NSO run at faster frames than the original, this is also the reason why some games like Pilotwings and Mario Party have become more difficult to play during the games that require button mashing or frame perfect input due to the input window being a lot shorter than in the original hardware. I believe there was a NL article that talked about that when Pilotwings first released on NSO.

Have you tried Mario Kart 64 in NSO with 3 or 4 player versus? Is like going 200cc from how crazy fast it goes.

People continue to refuse to accept the fact that Nintendo is not going to reveal the "Switch 2" until summer of next year (2025) or the year after (2026) and that the console will not release until 2026 or 2027 after the 10 year life cycle of the Switch 1 has been completed.

I'm sorry but Princess Peach just looks so much cuter in the NA version. She looks cute in the JP version holding the map and looking all chill but in the NA version she looks like an idol with that adorable wink flaunting her feminine charm. That is what sold it to me.

If the issue is the gatcha/loot boxes, then I don't think Pokémon Unite will be the only ones that will be doing this, there are a lot of other big names with this mechanic which means they may be leaving from those countries soon too.
Overwatch, Valorant, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Fortnite, Party Animals, My Hero Ultra Rumble, Zenless Zone Zero, and that is just to name a few.
Is possible Nintendo may also end services for their other mobile games too in those countries, like Mario Kart Tour, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, and Fire Emblem Heroes. Even SEGA mobile Sonic games could go away too. This whole cracking down on gatcha and loot boxes will have a ripple effect.

I prefer he keeps them, they are very valuable from a sentimental point of view. Those games made Reggie the person we know and love today and that itself is priceless in my opinion.

@LikelySatan of course not, you are absolutely right about playing this on a portable console. This game would be terrible to play on a Switch Lite, I recommend you try playing it on a normal Switch or a Switch OLED because those you can play them on your TV.

Holy cow! Those platforms are HUGE!! And those gaps are so tiny... this ain't no platform peril, this more like Platform Safely at this point. lol

Back in my day... the platforms were way smaller and gaps were bigger, and they probably fell down faster too.

They even remade the same mini-game with harder difficulty in the sequel, to bad they never bring that version back...

It was very stupid of them to not release it on Switch simultaneously with the other platform versions, literally almost EVERYONE has a Switch.

As for canceling Crash 5 due to Crash 4 sales not meeting expectations, is obvious they are aiming to high, they are expecting far to much from Crash Bandicoot, they need to dial it down or they'll keep setting themselves up for failure.

I hope this means they will consider doing the same for all their other mobile games when they decide to shut those down too such as Mario Kart Tour & Fire Emblem Heroes.

Super Mario Run is already a one time purchase but cannot be played without an internet connection of sort which is very annoying sometimes, meaning that it would also benefit from an offline version if they ever decide to stop supporting that game too.

Perhaps they could even bring back some of the other ones that got previously shut down like Dr. Mario World, Dragalia Lost, and Pokémon Rumble Rush.

As much as I love Miitomo, there isn't much you can do with an offline version of it so that game is definitely never coming back...
