Re: Sonic Origins Plus Physical Listing Says New Content Is "Downloadable Via Included Code"

Chibi_Manny

I am pretty sure the real reason SEGA chose to do it like this is so they can make money out of the second hand used games being sold online (and some stores) so that way if someone buys the game used for cheaper price they would still be forced to buy the Plus upgrade DLC and thus SEGA makes a profit out of it too. A scummy move by SEGA imo since physical copies are very limited nowadays from how much companies have limited the physical printings of their games in orther to boost digital sales.

Re: Random: Japanese Zelda Fans Steal Copies Of TOTK By Working As Delivery Assistants

Chibi_Manny

I mean at least one of them did it cause he really wanted to play the game (still wrong though) which is kinda understandable (but still wrong to do) but the other "teen" stole more than just the game and wanted to make a quick buck online by selling it. I think that that 2nd "teenager" is a complete total scumbag imo, if he gonna be a scalper he should at least do it right and pay the original price of the items instead of stealing them.
(but even if he did he would still suck for being a scalper)

Re: Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles Will Sing On Switch In August

Chibi_Manny

@Greatluigi basically the DS version is a remake. If you play that version you'll be getting the same (or similar) battle experience as the sequel. I don't think you can go wrong with either version but if tactics aren't your thing then perhaps DS may be more suitable, is up to you. I hope you enjoy the game as much as me & @ComfyAko did! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Re: Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles Will Sing On Switch In August

Chibi_Manny

@Greatluigi yes it is, I recommend you try playing it, specially if you wanna be cought up with the story of the sequel since in the second game you play as the daughters of the first game's main characters.

The first game on for PS1 so you can find it on PSN or get with the NIS Classics Vol. 3 and it also has a DS port. I haven't played the Nintendo DS version so I do not know if is a full port or a remake.

Keep in mind that the turn-base battles are different in the first game that in the sequel. The first game is more on the tactics side kinda like Disgaea (but without the OB, grabbing and climbing on top of allies/enemies) while the sequel is more on the traditional classic style like Atelier Iris or Breath of Fire, etc.

Is a short and sweet game that you can finish in a few days, nothing over complicated or excessive.

Re: SEGA & Tencent Have Also Decided To Skip This Year's E3

Chibi_Manny

Pretty sure that major companies after experiencing how much money they can save by skipping out on E3 and just doing their own presentations, they are not gonna wanna go back to E3. In the end is all about the money, and nothing speaks louder to huge corporations than money, specially if they can earn more by spending less which is probably why they are skipping out on E3.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Burger Time Deluxe

Chibi_Manny

Can we even call the Japan version a box "art" i mean, no one drew that so is not actually box "art" cover but more like a box "photo" cover.

The Japan version doesn't show anything about the game, is a cute girl on a box cover but it fails to advertise what the game is about or that is even a video game in general. Is terrible advertisement imo.

Re: Capcom Ending Resident Evil 7 Cloud Rental Service On Switch

Chibi_Manny

Cloud games is a dumb idea to begin with imo
But i do most definitely agree that paying retail price for a cloud game on Switch is even dumber, you're basically just renting the license to play the game whenever you want (limited to online connection only) but you don't actually own the game, 10 years from now you wont be able to play them no more cause they just gonna pull the plug on it by then.

Re: Review: Tales of Symphonia Remastered - A GameCube Classic That Shows Its Age On Switch

Chibi_Manny

This game was originally 60 fps in its original GameCube release, I understand why they had to tone it down to 30 fps for the PS2 port but not setting it back up to 60 fps for the PS3 port is inexcusable. And then they have the audacity to remaster the game many years later and STILL keep it at 30 fps!!? Now that is just bad game design right there! Namco really needs to patch that 60 fps back in through an update PRONTO!

Re: Random: People Are Sharing Their "Useless" Video Game Knowledge On Twitter - Here Are The Best Ones

Chibi_Manny

In Kirby Air Ride, when you play the mini-game "Destruction Derby 1" you can trigger an unused alert sound and graphic if you fall down a hole into the abyss after your star has been destroyed, this trigger is located beneath the death barrier so it was left behind as a developer oversight, however the death barrier only resets you if are riding a star as you fall, if you fall without a star Kirby will fall beyond the death barrier triggering the unused alert that is normally impossible to trigger.

Re: Sonic Frontiers' Free Sonic Adventure 2 DLC Offer Ends Next Week

Chibi_Manny

People who are fully aware about this offer are fully able to sign up to the newsletter and get the code early before buying the game, and they can also redeem it before getting the game in case there is an expiration period on it. So basically if they still miss out in this, it is completely fully on them. Hopefully they are smart enough to realize they don't need to own the game first to get the shoes.

Re: Remember That Inaccessible Path In Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life? The Remake Might Change That

Chibi_Manny

That's interesting, I've only played the Special Edition that is exclusive to PS2 so the dialog is different on that version since there is no GBA connection and all the extra stuff is already in the game as obtainable that the NPC gift to you or you can buy at Van's shop.

In the PS2 the Harvest Sprites do actually give you the option to go up that hill which actually quits the game and takes you back to the title screen.

Re: Video: Does The Switch Actually Feel 'Old' Yet?

Chibi_Manny

Honestly, is still feels kinda new to me with all this epic games that keep coming out year after year since launch date. I feel like Nintendo should extend its lifetime for another 5 or 6 years just like they did with the 3DS and really take their time polishing whatever new system they are working on so it can become a worthy successor to their current money printer a.k.a. the Nintendo Switch. Is to soon to "Switch" things up yet in my opinion, the Switch has a loooot of life left in it still.

Re: Kirby's Samurai Mini-Game Is Getting Online Support In Return To Dream Land Deluxe

Chibi_Manny

I don't understand why Nintendo refuse to make a online co-op Kirby game... or more online co-op games for that matter! ๐Ÿ˜
Super Mario Maker 2 and Super Mario 3D World online co-op did really well, so what is their deal?
Even Luigi's Mansion 3's online co-op is good despite being quite short. A good online Kirby co-op would be so awesome, specially if they do it in a similar style to Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.

Re: Ash Ketchum And Pikachu's Time In The Pokรฉmon Anime Is Coming To An End

Chibi_Manny

Not gonna lie, I am really going to miss Ash a lot. I knee this day would come someday but it is still quite shocking to witness. The Pokรฉmon TV series is definitely gonna hit different in the future upcoming series now that Ash & Pikachu are no longer a part of it. Ofcourse it would be no surprise if they just bring in a new Pikachu in the next series since i highly doubt they could find it in their heart to replace that Pokรฉmon as the franchise's main mascot. It would be interesting if this new series takes place like 10 or 20 years later and Ash would make a cameo at some point as a fully grown adult.

Re: Ash Ketchum VA Shares Message Ahead Of Character's Exit From Pokรฉmon Anime

Chibi_Manny

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Agreed, the mid 80's to early 2000's had the most funniest animes ever, the facial expressions and the humor was top notch. The art styles and hand drawn animations were great too. Those really were some really good times, it really is kinda sad that present day anime has lost a lot of those qualities that made them so fun to watch back in those days.

Re: Atlus Remembers N64 Classic Snowboard Kids On Its 25th Anniversary

Chibi_Manny

If only Square-Enix would remember and acknowledge Mischief Makers... that would be great.

It would be super awesome if Nintendo added both Snowboard Kids 1 & 2 to the N64 Switch Online (and Mischief Makers)

We do not speak about the 3rd Snowboard Kids game for the Nintendo DS... that one is... cringe. The anime art and cutscenes on the PS1 Japan exclusive port of Snowboard Kids (called Snowboard Kids Plus) was really cool though.

Here is the cover of that port for those who didn't know about it.

They even added 4 new exclusive characters to that version, to bad is Japan only.

Re: Class-Action Lawsuit Claims Epic Games Knowingly Made Fortnite "Very, Very Addictive"

Chibi_Manny

Are you saying that if a gaming company makes a really good game is wrong and should be illegal?!
What backwards logic is this?!

Those parents need to just do better at parenting! If the problem is that their kids are already good kids and haven't done anything to deserve taking away their game then those parents obviously do not spend enough quality time with their kids and are just looking for an excuse to cover up for their own shortcomings.

(Also maybe they are just being greedy and want some easy money.)

Re: PSA: Lightning No Longer Cancels Your Glider In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Chibi_Manny

Honestly, I don't like this change... it makes absolutely no sense to be why a powerful lightning strike would not know you down from the air, that just feels wrong like is defying the laws of physics in some way, it just doesn't make sense imo... I much prefer it the way it was before. As for any gaps that may be "impossible" is not really true that you wouldn't be able to progress because in huge gapped areas like the tracks mentioned in this article, Lakitu always carries you forward to the other end for you anyways which guarantees that the game aleays keeps players from getting stuck or from falling to far behind the other players.

Re: Switch Fighting Game ARMS Receives Its First Update Since 2018

Chibi_Manny

Imagine how cool it would have been if they had made a One Piece crossover and added Monkey D. Luffy into the game as DLC.
Having Luffy stretch his ARMS around and even having the same sound effects as in the anime when he throws his punches and retracts his ARMS back would have been so epic. He could even do his Gum Gum Gatling attack as his special move. It really is kind of a shame that Nintendo never does any anime crossovers...
