This really sucks.

This is not a discovery, i figured that out as a kid. This is just something a lot of players didn't put two-on-two together, but it was always kinda obvious that that mini-game is impossible to loose nor does it have a victory, you just simply complete it.

Did You Know? You can actually do this exact same thing with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by turning on auto accelerator and smart steering. If you set it to 50cc you have a chance at winning 1st place by doing absolutely nothing at all. This is actually more meaningful if you do it while playing as Luigi.

I keep forgetting that Roger Craig Smith isn't then one voicing Sonic in this new series. I gotta admit, that guy sounds super similar to Roger, I hope he does well.

I love Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, but it is far to late for a 3rd entry in that series now. The story wouldn't make any sense at this point in the timeline to be naming it "Sonic Adventure 3" unless they wipe clean the existence of half the characters as non-canon to the series such as Silver, Blaze, etc. Assuming they decide to count the story of Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog as part of the Sonic Adventure canon, otherwise that would technically mean Shadow is still dead after the events of SA2 and/or is missing somewhere with his full amnesia, or perhaps they just simply bring him back just "cause his Shadow" since technically the amnesia was introduced in Heroes and his memories don't return until Shadow the Hedgehog they can technically just deem that not canon anymore and now he just simply reappears like a badass with his full memories from SA2. And let's not forget the moon, half of it needs to be destroyed again and not "magically rotated to the side that is not broken" like they claimed that happened during the Sonic 06 Q&A.

If we learned anything from Sonic Forces, that would be the fact that the modern current SEGA and Sonic Team are fully incapable of making a proper Sonic Adventure-like game. I highly doubt they have what it takes now to make a true proper sequel to that series without dropping a bombshell of a disappointing disaster. Let's face it, our expectations are far to high for SEGA's reach at this point in time.

I suppose having Kirby's Dreamland 3 on a far easier difficulty than its already easy difficulty could make it a lot more possible to achieve getting that super rare "Perfect" screen that almost no one has ever been able to unlock because of how challenging it is to actually beat every boss in Boss Rush mode without taking any damage not even once.

I want the underwater one.
I plan on getting 2 of them, one for collecting & one for using.

People want a port of this game so bad but my question is, is it worth the cost? I doubt they will make a profit from a port. However, a remake is definitely worth it indeed.

Maybe add the Mario & Luigi cars from Rocket League into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of the DLC Booster Pack. That would be cool. 😁

Japanese sellers are really nice. Sometimes they'll even pack in a few extra free goodies in your package out of courtesy which is super nice of them. I bought a rare Animal Crossing JP amiibo card on eBay and the seller packed a bunch of Animal Crossing stickers and a tiny mini amiibo card album, all for free even though all i did was buy a single card for 35 dollars. That was really nice of them.

What is up with all these Caveman themed games?! I know the SNES was from way back in the day but c'mon this is kinda ridiculous. Japan got a super cool game, I am so gonna be playing Umihara Kawase, it looks amazing!

@YoshiFlutterJump Hopefully next time we do get Kirby Superstar Stacker, that would be fantastic & it is definitely a big must!

I wouldn't mind if they actually brought back another VA for Shadow such as Jason Griffith, he is still my favorite Shadow the Hedgehog VA so far, the current one is ok but kinda a bit too quirky sounding imo. Or another non-Sonic VA like they did with Sonic himself (i still cannot stop hearing him as Dewey Duck sometimes)
But seeing as how well Paramount has been doing with the casting of this film series, I think whoever they pick will be great. I was skeptical about Knuckles at first but he turned out awesome, so I think they've earn my trust by now, I'm just gonna let 'em surprise me.

As usual, Nintendo makes it cool and then everyone wants a piece of the pie.

Also, to stay relevant to the topic here, do the Pikachu toys even do anything? If the Psyduck toy is the only one that moves then it definitely is the best happy meal toy in history (specially considering how huge it is)

@Knuckles thank you for telling me about that. I had absolutely no idea that was what SEGA did so that's new to me. Real shame about loosing the super cool "Sonic & Knuckles" title screen, that was the best one out of all of them imo. I was doing some research about that and found out that even though we lost the Sonic & Knuckles title screen, all the original jingles and theme songs (such as invincibility, extra life, etc.) from the original Sonic 3 have been replaced by the ones from Sonic & Knuckles which is kinda interesting.

I found a YouTube video that shows the difference in music between both games which basically list all the Sonic 3 music that got replaced by Sonic & Knuckles music.

I am kinda confused here... why isn't the game "Sonic & Knuckles" in this collection?

My guess is that the game will create two save files with one of them being the online data which will not be backed up by the cloud. Honestly, as long as all the gears and weapons get backed up that's all I care about. It would be such a pain in the butt having to rebuy and upgrade everything all over again if something were to happen to my Switch, specially if is event exclusive gear like the Halloween or Christmas gear in Splatoon 2.

Having all the offline data separate from the online data for cloud back up compatibility is a smart idea.

I am still baffled by how much fail Nintendo has had with their own emulator, is really embarrassing. I find it really ironic how the more advanced and more powerful the newer systems are, the less compatable and less capable they are of running older games properly.

I am so glad I still have my Wii copy of Kirby's Dream Collection.

Is kinda funny when you play as Pauline in Mario Golf: Super Rush on Speed Golf mode and you run towards the other human, she is so small compared to when she stood by them in Odyssey. It kinda makes you wonder what they think about their mayor now... lol

It looks great buuuuuut not for a game. Maybe if is used for an anime special or something, that would be awesome.

I do not have the expansion pass but I do want the controller anyways just so I can play Super Mario 64 with it, playing it from my copy of Super Mario 3D All-Stars. I also wanna play Mario Party Superstars with this controller by setting the mini-games to N64 only.

I did not know the grass texture was changed, but I gotta admit it was definitely better how it was before. Compared to the original, now it just looks like a green flat surface with no details, kinda boring and really lazy looking if you ask me.

But can I still get the Sonic the Hedgehog costumes and the Kizuna Ai costume? Those are the IP collabs that I am really interested the most and was forced to miss out on because the darn game wasn't out on Switch yet!

All they had to do was add Daisy and an extra character (Diddy Kong) to the roster to keep it even, but NOOOOO giving her a sass nerf wasn't enough for Nintendo! ...hopefully she gets added in later with some sass still left in her.

Wow, that is so bad especially considering that like 60% or Sonic fan made videos are most definitely not meant for children under 13 or 17. Lots of strong language and mature themes in lots of those videos.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize this versions require an internet connection in order to be played. They cannot be played offline, that just feels so dumb that it really really sucks... but I should have figured that out from the start with them being cloud versions, I did not noticed that detail sooner. Oh well, good thing I already own all of the games on PS2, PS3, & PS4.

Btw I so wanna get this game, but I do wonder why they stopped using the "Monopoly GAMER" name, it was cool but now they are just calling them plain Monopoly.

I think it be wise if Nintendo leave the cars static for 50cc & 100cc and have them move for 150cc, Mirror, & 200cc just so it works out for all players.

It is kinda obvious the reason they removed the car's moving animation was because they thought it be to hard and frustrating for younger kids with or without autorun and/or smart steering turned on.

@DrewBA77 @Mikmoomamimocki @KimBread I always thought that the perfect name for Mother 3 would be EarthBound Finale since they added Beginnings to the first one. Is a really well fitting name since is the final entry of both the story and the series. Specially if you take into account the definition of the word "finale" i think it describes the game well.

Actually, he sounds a lot more like Jaleel White's Sonic to me. Very similar pitch. If he says something like "it's juicing time" I bet he'd sound almost identical.

As cool as this may be for certain collectors, this is an obvious sign that Nintendo cares less about amiibos. They obviously decided to remove the blocker from production to save money since the only amiibos coming out now don't unlock any exclusives in the games and are required to have in hand whenever you want to use whatever special features they do which in Super Smash's case is even less useful. There is a likely chance that Kazuya may be the last amiibo we get (assuming Disney may actually not be allowing the Sora amiibo since that info was left out of the direct)

I hope we do get Game Boy Online, that would be huge being able to play some of the great multiplayer GBA games like Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, Zelda Four Swords, Mario Kart Super Circuit, etc. This would be great if it actually happens! (Hopefully)

Is to bad this collection doesn't come with the Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog, I would have liked to play that one too for it's unique stages.

You know, it would really be extremely disappointing if this game were to have a remaster or remake (or port) and people just started to complain nonstop about things like "oh is not as good as i remembered" or "it didn't age well" or "why is it not 60fps" or "the frames keep dropping during certain portions of gameplay" or whatever other little blemishes and stuff. After pestering them for SO LONG to rerelease this game just to complain about it and give it "meh" reviews making the rerelease basically kinda a flop. That would be so terrible, and possibly one of the reasons it hasn't been rereleased yet (aside from all the legal issues, ofcourse)
