How can a retro game run this bad on Switch 2 😂and very expensive for a retro re-release

@OrtadragoonX PS5 is 5 years older though maybe inbetween PS4 and PS5 then they could have used more power docked as it's plugged in anyway. Atari Lynx was more powerful than NES after only 6 years so more performance was totally doable.

@Sambuc Yes but just shows it's underpowered even for a 10th gen handheld I would have expected close to PS5 performance docked and series S in handheld mode.

648p on a 10th gen machine ouch.

Does anyone know the specs of the Switch 2 Pro controller like what internal storage, ram and CPU it has etc.

The first 3 MK games would have already been a 9/10 in 2025 surely this is not 2010 so very surprised to see such a low score.

Still mind blowing it's selling as well as it is considering it oy has Finley Kong as a great 1st party exclusive so far. Though guess I'm part of the problem as I have one. Crazy to think how good the games were on Dreamcast yet that console flopped 😂

Nintendo life changing a lot a 7/10 seems harsh for what is basically a Switch 1 games with a higher frame rate and resolution so complaints about the graphics I think are overblown. Even Donkey Kong Bonanza would have automatically got a 10 a couple of years back but they seem to make games lower now to get more interactive and comments which of course we will oblige and give them lol 😂

According to Nvidia the Switch 2 is more powerful though can't see that.

It's going to be intresting when that Mario Kart World Switch 2 console bundle is phased out likely when Pokemon drops where the game will be in the charts then being one of the weaker games in the Mario Kart series.

@Sonicka Literally 3 generations feel like where back in the 90s with it getting ported to 3 generations of hardware 8th gen PS4/Xbox One, 9th gen PS5 Xbox, Series X/S, Switch and 10th Gen Switch 2.

Still absolutely incredible that all the content and gameplay is all present considering the hardware. I was expecting tracks to be watered down, voice acting to be removed yet it's all present and correct from the PC dedicated home console versions. It's a great game just a shame I have to wait for the Switch 2 physical next year. But for those with a Switch 1 it's still pretty good.

Mario Kart World is likely only so high as it comes with the Switch 2 when the bundle is fazed out for the Pokémon edition expect to see it drop possibly even below Mario Kart 8 which is a much better game.

How on earth is a retro game like GTA V still in the list. If Sonic Racing launched on Switch 2 if would likely have been 2nd.

Another rushed port Switch 2 deserves better than this.

Why didn't they just delay the game on Switch 2 like Sega did with the new Sonic Racing game rather than rushing it out without optimization.

Strange that they didn't include the extra content from the first remake War of the Lions hopefully when they remake it for a 3rd time in 10 years they will add it

I don't get why they didn't just include this with the base game and charge the same price as Mario Kart World as even without this Bonanza is more worth the asking price than Mario Kart World is.

Hopefully this is better than Mario Kart World as that was a huge disappointment for me thankfully Donkey Kong Bonanza is filling the void on my Switch 2.

Is Nintendo only offering 64GB cards for 3rd party developers as I find it hard to believe they put Donkey Kong Bonanza which is only around 8GB on a 64GB card one that's a waste and two a lot more expensive than a lower capacity card.

So this could have been in the game for free then very shady. Also thought they might have included it free for people on the Nintendo online expansion pack as it is will only get it on same at best.

Absolutely ripoff for remasters of two retro games. Sony remastered the Uncharted Trilogy on PS4 and charged half the price.

Surprised to see Mario Kart World so low but then it is one of the weakest in the series.

@Suketoudara Only did a few as there's no check list for which ones you've completed it just seemed unfinished I did a few git all the trophies and that's me done with the game it's one of the weakest in the series so didn't care to go back to it some dlc might tempt me but we shall see 🙈

Games run terribly much better to just get them on the Original Xbox and play them on the Xbox Original/360.

Another great edition to the Switch 2 library can't wait to play this.

Would have loved a Trilogy on one Switch 2 cart and get the 4th game made please.

Mario Kart World being top is hardly a shock as its bundled with the console and most are going to grab it as there little on the Switch 2 still.

Finished the game ages ago short and sweet and a bit too easy not a patch on other Mario Kart games in the series especially Mario Kart DS.

Would prefer some ports to Switch 2 from them instead.

These guys are some of my favourite nintendo staff looking forward to what they will do with Switch 2.

One of the worst reviews I've seen mentions nothing on the graphics which are strangely poor even worse than the PS4 version not to mention only 30fps why is it not matching max settings of the PC as it's only streaming from a super computer anyway.

So is the Switch one version of DX trilogy at least physical.

I was literally sat there thinking is there a new game out Mario Kart World was not that expected so the title to the article was odd nice it's back top but likely due to it being a pack in and lack of Switch 2 games

Donkey Kong will stay top until FC 26 knocks it off in a couple of months time then it will be a battle between Pokémon and FC 26 for the end of the year.

@Dunkin Mario Kart World is not better than Mario Kart DS,Double Dash, Wii or 8 it's a fun game but not better than those and Donkey Kong would have been a much better choice for the launch game.

@lightningbolt79 Can't of played many Mario Karts then it's a fun game don't get me wrong but Mario Kart 8, Double Dash, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario Kart are all better than it. Donkey Kong should have been the launch game not a racer.

@USWITCH64 Because it was the main launch game so based on reputation we thought it would blow our sucks off but it didn't. Tracks change after each lap this should be an option and there is no check list in the open world mode so you don't know what is left to do in each area it felt a little unfinished still a good game though but Donkey Kong should have been the launch game and Mario Kart should have released later in the year.

@Ralizah Exactly if the developer didn't come out and say that performance wasn't perfect they give this game a 10.

How is this not 10/10 Mario Kart World got a 9 yet that is one of the weakest games in the Mario Kart series and feels unfinished. This should have been the launch game not a racer.

Those scores mean nothing then if mario Kart World got 36 from them and that is a 30 at best. One of the weaker games in the series imo.
