While I enjoyed the demo and concept, I'm still on the fence whether to buy it or not. It's fun but after 3 matches my arms started feeling fatigued.

Well square enix then I'll just buy the switch 1 version instead. It's a shame really but this is the same company that ported over ( I won't say remade) a 3ds game on a key card so of course they'll take the cheapest route possible.

Been going back and forth between this and mario kart. Both games are amazing and I'm looking forward to this update.

Seems like everyone is having a pleasant experience with pre orders so far. As for myself I got mine delivered by Wal mart this morning and it came with a free can of Pringles and a coke.

This is 2k did we really expect any different? Nintendo basically made the game key cards to combat stuff like this. But leave it to companies like EA and 2K to take the worst possible route.

Well already pre-ordered along time ago from my local wal-mart. Didn't think I would be able to get one and mario kart world that easy so the email invite was kinda like a contingency plan for me.

NA hands down! It I get what the japanese cover was trying to accomplish but the American/ Europe cover is much better it gives a better feel what the game is like the cool action pose helps too.

I guess after some surprisingly consumer friendly releases from one (in big quotation marks) of its oldest series I guess EA thought people would get the wrong idea. And then proceed with a mass firing to remind people how abhorrent they are.

I'm thinking maybe they could do a remake of mario sunshine in 4k. And I'm not talking about an enhanced port! Fix the physics, make the blue coin shines actual missions and maybe add a hard mode for those of us who already played the game 100s of times.

The American/European cover better shows off what the game is about without saying too much. The majority of the pikmin fleeing, the blue pikmin attacking the offending bulborb, all While olimar the games protagonist just watches.

@batmanbud2 I think maybe they want to focus on forgotten land first. Star allies might get an update later on down the road.

I think nintendo life will be fine. This app is just for news regarding their games,systems,etc. With probably direct links to the official site. Meanwhile ni tendolife covers more then just nintendo games and systems but also interesting opinion pieces and the like so I'll still visit even after downloading the app.

Neither boxart is great but the Japanese one is slightly better. Still kinda looks like a history text book cover though.

Okami2 sounds great. But maybe they should prove that they can make a half decent game first.

Can I just add that while I am not defending gamefreak for all they did wrong. At the same time I would like to remind people that this is from a company that for the better half of 30 years made games for nintendo's handhelds. So comparatively their console experience is still pretty recent.

As a fan of pokemon really both boxarts are iconic. the north American boxart however you can cleary identify as the card back for the english version of the cards. What's more is the tantalizing promise of a free card ( a promo meowth) with a purchase of the game.

Um... This might have more to do with spike chunsofts parent company then nintendo. I say this because after some light research. It turns out that Sony became kadakawas largest share holder as of last January. So it most likely is a licensing thing.

@Bolt_Strike I think it's a way for people to play with all the mechanics including some of the game specific gimmicks.

Honestly this might be okay. It's obvious that they will more than likely build the roster of available pokemon as time goes on. I would also like to point out from the trailer we saw terastilzation and mega evolution so on release it will likely only be compatible with legends ZA and scarlet and violet on release

Finally seeing gameplay of legends Z-A was definitely what I 2as looking forward to the most. But man that pokemon champions announcement was a welcome if not pleasant suprise.

Even with a personal bias for the US version. The Japanese version is better showing off all the main characters plus andross, with the added bonus of looking like a movie poster.

For starters a track creation tool would be nice. Next seeing as they are pulling from mario wonder maybe implement the wonder flower somehow. Finally an option not on the poll unlocakable ( as in from the game no micro transactions) skins for the racers.

Awesome for those who haven't played legends arceus it has a nice atmospheric soundtrack. Perfect for listening before bed or studying. We'll maybe except the boss fight themes.

Voted for NA/EU I was torn this one the NA version is the cover I remember seeing as a kid and still love it to this day. Meanwhile I like the simple aesthetics of the Japanese box art as well.

Mario kart 8 Deluxe is unstoppable! I swear they are going to have a heck of a time trying to top it.
