all I can say is this is such a stupid take from ubisoft. Though not surprising, Ubisoft in my eyes wasn't like the other AAA studios and was closer to the village idiot rather than a studio that was ruthlessly trying to Nicole and dime it's already existing user base with justifications that were as flimsy as cardboard.

@Anti-Matter yeah I think your overestimating the general appeal of something like nexomon. I just looked at the games steam page and I don't know how else to tell you but from my observation it look's like it's going to copy S/V. I mean imitation is the sincerest for of flattery but going by the series history on the eshop, It'll probably release at full price and maybe not even weeks later go on sale for almost bargain bin prices like the first two games.

While it wouldn't be against remakes of pokemon xd and Pokemon Colosseum unfortunately one big hurdle is the Pokemon company. After all they really have the say so on what's being done with Pokemon, I mean there are plenty examples, from the pokemon amiibos seeing almost no use outside of Smash Bros.or the fact that the Pokemon games aren't on any of the Game Boy online apps which is weird because Pokemon is a Nintendo franchise not directly owned by Nintendo but still it's mostly a Nintendo franchise at this point.

@-wc- it was called item bagging in short some players would purposefully drive in reverse or stop at the item box's to pull strong items in order to gain an advantage.

@Anti-Matter I know we butted heads in the past but in this case I agree it would be wild and definitely Very Nintendo of them if the next console was a 3ds successor than a switch one.

@Savage_Joe I guess I should've been a little more specific in mentioning for handhelds. While pokemon colluseum did have a story it was more of a battle simulator with a story attached. Gale of darkness however was more of an earnest attempt to make a console pokemon game though it also has it's own problems.

At the time pokemon X and Y were ground breaking showing everyone what a 3d pokemon game looks like and while ground breaking for the time it wasn't perfect. For one thing It was really apparent that gamefreak had no experience with 3D models outside of special set pieces, or even cutscenes. And unfortunately it still plagues them today.

I think it's going to be awhile before we hear talks of a new console after how well the switch is preforming. And that's fine why fix what isn't broken.

Knowing Lego these are going to be expensive. That being said let me know if they release a set that includes Rover

@Not_Soos I believe they announced detective Pikachu 2 (aka this game ) a few years ago so it was likely made initially for 3DS

@Anti-Matter your hearts in the right place but like others have said epic is bigger then just fortnite, they also have the unreal engine which is an engine that 90% (just a shot in the dark) of developers use. I hope those affected land on their feet.

@ Antimatter Then maybe stick with rachet and clank then because mario isn't going to change anytime soon. The MK8 deluxe booster course pass isn't what I would call a live service you pay for the pass ( or be an NSO member) and you get the extra courses come back when they introduce a battle pass or something.

@Anti-Matter I understand that you in massive (as large you can imagine) quotation marks Wasn't attached to charles Martinet but the majority of us were. Also let's keep the movie separate from the games all because Chris worked for Mario in the movie dose'nt mean it'll work in the games.

I love Pokemon but the art style of the kids clash with the overall design of the Pokemon. Couldn't they have stuck with a similar style for the humans? 🤔 And by that I mean match the official art style.

I remember the simpler days of buying packs and hoping to pull my favorite cards and it was quite fun. Now all everyone in the hobby only cares about making money. Thanks Logan 😡

@HeadPirate you know I feel like even if you put up some good points no one's going to read them because they just hate the Pokemon company. And well they do have reason to, I mean Pokemon unite ,Pokemon TCG live, and various other mobile games with egregious micro transactions though not going to pretend like there wasn't micro transactions in their other free to play games on 3DS Pokemon picross anyone? Heck I'll probably just get a response because I'm not blindly throwing hatred at the Pokemon company even if it is a little deserved for their past actions.

I have to respectfully disagree with Mr. Glick as a competitive Pokemon player myself I think Mega Evolutions and Z moves are the way to go. I mean the argument that Megas only made certain Pokemon viable can easily be used for Dynamax. I mean after all certain Pokemon get access to gigantamaxing which also causes them to go undergo a massive design change but also changes one of their moves that matching their type of a specific signature move which is basically Z moves but more spamable for three whole turns. I mean yeah I suppose it could survive a Dynamax if you don't mind being accosted by the same move again and again. Also in competitive Pokemon usually most players use the same Pokemon time and time again like Landorus, or Heatran, And Thunderous Theirian. Just to name two examples so I don't understand why only certain Pokemon being viable is a problem when it's been like that since the Inception of competitive Pokemon sorry for the long reply.

Hey cool one my favorites of gen 8 I already have one though. Mostly with the same move set and item. Seriously dracovish can be a monster in competitive I recommend not sleeping on this one!

at the risk of my own safety I replicated what you are supposed to do to trigger the seizure glitch I didn't stay long but yeah it actually exists. I haven't hacked my switch or used yuzu

How about bringing back the P.S.S. (Player Search System)That was probably one of the best used interfaces we had in the series. Access to trades, Battles, and even chat.(Though that could be a blessing in disguise now that it's gone.) I also don't think it would be too much trouble to.reintegrate the G.T.S into the main game as well I get that they want to make it convenient but I don't want to grab my phone just to trade especially when I'm already playing the game.

@KingBowser86 the point was the series isn't necessarily dead. It seems like die hard fans of PM (like you of course) can't seem to stand the M&L franchise and honestly it seems kind of stupid. That being said I don't think I need even bother trying to explain why I think TOK is good and deserves the sales numbers. Though you'd just have another retort about how the series is now bad I'll give you sticker star I think that game can easily be touted as the worst no story, Kersti being unlikable and not at all helpful, and the boss battles I don't think I need to elaborate on those. Of course knowing people like you and especially Arlo your minds are dead set on what you want and that's fine if anything all you're doing is tempting me to go back and play TTYD objectively and comb every aspect the game to see what it was that people loved.

@Dr_Corndog origami king is pretty good you should give it a shot ! Also as for sticker star it's alright the story is or more like the lack of a story is garbage but the gameplay is servicable.

@patbacknitro18 I don't think you know the whole story. Those Discounts Aren't really a discount epic just added a way to bypass the respective store fronts and but directly from them. I feel like the article should mention that.

@Heavyarms55 you forgot it has the ability to change any energy type into fire energy. So you could technically put Charizard (base set by the way) in almost any deck. The trade off not being able to use charmander or charmeleon's better attacks.

Legendary: typically found in the game by natural means and has story relevance

Mythical: typically distributed to players via events

I mean it sounds cool but just a little too much of a hassle to play a widely accessible (I think) switch game. I could also just play the 3 DS version I got on clearance yesterday, yeah it won't look quite as nice but it's the same game anyway.

Has anybody noticed the lack of any additions to the 3DS VC line up as of late? Not that I think it's lacking it's just kind of surprising.

You do know it's not that simple to just add bank functionality to Gen 1 or gen 2 even if they were on 3DS. It would require pretty much remaking the entire games from scratch. Also you know it's possible to get nearly every gen1 pokemon in X and Y right? I would also like to add that Red and Blue never used IR it Gold and Silver that used IR and that was just for mystery gift and that's it no battles or trades just mystery gift. All in all pokemon on the 3DS VC would ultamately be a neutered exprience.
