Will never understand the whole virtual idol culture thing that makes her need to have 70 games. Especially since her design is about as basic as you can get. Oh wait she has floating hair things. Very unique.

A shame Nintendo doesn't like interaction. The little sign things could be cool if you could leave tips or something like in DS. But alas, they're stuck in 1998 with their online services.

You can't even use the "it's to protect the kids!!!1" argument anymore when the eshop is full of hentai games.

@Aiodensghost To play devil's advocate here as someone who always wanted to play OW1 but never wanted to plunk down $60 for an online game I may suck at (which would have then required me to give Nintendough $20 a year just to play it on their scam service), I absolutely love (for the most part) that Blizzard took it f2p. Not only does it expand the games lifespan GREATLY with the huge number of new players like me who are loving it. Sure the way they handled PvE blows and removing loot boxes and pushing 20 dollar skins is the epitome of scummy, but at the same time, they do not effect the game at all and you do not need them to play on the same level as the guy who spent a few hundred.

But this is the internet, which is one giant echo chamber of repeating things and it sure is popular and cool to hate on Blizzard (even though the devs are not making these decisions).

@rockodoodle It's not that it's difficult, its just that the tutorial kinda throws all of the mechanics at you in rapid succession while you're still coming to terms with the controls. Once it clicks though, it feels amazing.

Just picked it up for $2 and really glad I did. The last platformer that I enjoyed this much was Celeste. They patched the game and changed some things here and there like level order for better pacing.

Contrary to what the review says, I like the time trials. They make you feel like a little ninja warrior when you get gold on one. Definitely recommend it.

What's with companies using these overly muscular totally unrelated actors to promote their games? Overwatch did the weirdest commercial with John Cena that made no sense. This feels the same.

The cool thing is it's connected with retroachievements so there's an active community still. The record score for red table of 50 million was set just in June.

Loved that game back on the 360. Remember it being quite the challenge at spots. Always gave me Invader Zim vibes for some reason.

I'll always remember my friends brother getting the Steel Battalion game for Xbox. That controller was insane to use.

Good for people who liked JSR though. I tried playing that again recently on my phone and made it about 10 minutes before I realized how boring it is and how I never cared for fruit booting to begin with as an ex skateboarder.

Got it launch day on the 360 with a couple friends. Remembering all the chaos that was the online lobbies.. good times. But after 100%ing it (one of a handful of games I've ever done that with) and the amazing Undead Nightmares (best DLC ever) I'm more than happy to be done and let the memories remain on that one.

Crossing into Mexico for the first time and hearing that Jose Gonzelez song play.. most memorable moment of my gaming life besides popping in that golden Ocarina of Time cart into my 64 for the first time on release day after the excruciating day at school waiting.

A shame I couldn't get into the first one since I adore the art style and Gothic setting. Something about moving like a fat guy covered in molasses is not my definition of fun gaming though.

That was surpsingly easy. No way I was downloading that huge game again to redeem some cosmetics but I'll log into the site to unlock them next time I play for sure.

Will pick it up in a couple years when it's on sale for a few bucks since I got the first day one and never finished it (there is a lot to finish) . Loved the gyro they did with Quake 1, makes it a whole new experience.

My fake Gameboy (I call it my phone) has all the GBA, SNES, N64, Ps1, PS2, PSP, DS, 3DS and Switch games on it that I need thank you very much. Oh and it was already going to be in my pocket to begin with!

They perfected the art style to look identical to the show in Fractured But Whole, so they scrap that and make some weird looking 3d instead? Weird stuff Trey and Matt but by God if you two aren't the most magical humans on the planet.

@WaveBoy yeah 120 fps is REALLY important in 20+ year old games, especially when your eyes can't even physically tell the difference from 60 and you're just tricking your brain into thinking it's "better".

@sleepinglion On the flip side I loved RDR (one of the few big games I 100%) but RDR2 was unbearable to me. Such a step backwards.
