This being a complete shameless rip-off of Fall Guys and yet becoming the most popular of two has to be one of the saddest, most unfair things to happen in the gaming industry these last few years. I for one am absolutely never touching this game.
Darkest Dungeon II is my pick of the month but Bo looks great as well, just haven't got around to playing it yet.
I actually have no idea what I'd pick for "best game we missed", it doesn't really feel like there's been anything noteworthy that hasn't been covered here.
Yeah I loved the original at the time but really had no desire to play this version... Maybe if it was like a full remake or something I'd have given it a shot, but this basically looked like the same game, and it's not exactly the type of game that asks for repeat plays.
It's a great feeling starting a new JRPG and seeing the map for the first time and knowing you'll get to explore all of that. On the other hand also love slowly filling the blank map in a metroidvania and the like.
I was really looking forward to playing this on the Switch, hope it still makes it somehow. Or if not at least a Switch 2 release further down the line.
I was fairly vaguely interested in this game but after reading the review I think I'm going to pass on it, at the very least until the Switch version is fixed. I definitely like the game's concept, but it doesn't look like it translates to such a great experience.
I got the physical edition of this game and was hoping the season pass would go on sale before buying it but it doesn't seem like that's likely, does it? Annoying to see the deluxe edition which includes the season pass on sale, but the season pass still at full price.
Was just waiting for a reliable review of the Switch version before grabbing this, so now I guess it'll be my next purchase. I love metroidvanias and aesthetically this really couldn't be more up my sleeve, looking forward to giving it a shot.
This caught my attention the first time you posted about it and I'm still intrigued. I think these "Animal Crossing-like" games can be pretty hit and miss, but this one looks great.
Yeah this looks great but I also wish it had local multiplayer. I hope it's good for solo play at least because I'm not really a big fan of online multiplayer (...especially on the Switch).
Dicefolk is absolutely excellent, a perfect mix between Slay The Spire and Pokémon (Pokémon rotation battles more specifically) while also feeling like its own unique thing. Fantastic gameplay, really cool creatures and the difficulty is just right, not too easy or too hard. Really recommend it to anyone who enjoys either roguelike deckbuilders or monster collecting games, or both.
I also really enjoyed Moonstone Island, it kinda feels like a streamlined/fantastical version of Stardew Valley that replaces that game's heavy busy work/routine with exploring sky islands, tackling dungeons, collecting and battling with monsters and so on. It's a mix of a lot of different genres (the combat is card-based too) but it totally works.
I'm usually here for cosy games in general but I'm not quite sure I get the appeal of a farming game that takes place in its entirety on a very tiny field.
I'd been meaning to pick up this game, but was waiting until after I'm finished with Scarlet Graces first (currently on the fourth protagonist playthrough, so nearly there), so this is great news. Based on what I've seen/read and the similarity to the excellent Scarlet Graces I'm absolutely expecting it to end up as one of my favourite games of the year.
This game had actually been on my mind these last few days - I honestly didn't even recall what it was called anymore, but I had been wondering whatever had happened to that cool looking "Italian cinema Persona-like". Great to see it's finally being released, very much looking forward to it.
Ooh I'd been waiting for this one, nice to finally have a release date, and in less than a couple of weeks too. This and Dicefolk being release back to back... big couple of days for indie games revolving around collecting creatures.
This is great. Will definitely be fun to see how much you got right over the next few years. The one thing I thought was kind of surprising was there being so many Kirby games, but then again I hadn't realised there were six different ones on the Switch.
I'd never heard of this before but it looks really great! What a pleasant surprise, especially given it's still being released this year. Definitely looking forward to it.
Love the look of this, reminds me of Atelier/Ghibli/Spiritfarer. A cosy metroidvania with a cooking theme is actually a great concept, definitely going on the wishlist.
Great. Maybe I'll finally start the game now, though with another patch presumably hitting in a couple weeks maybe it'd be best to wait a little longer.
Yeah I really don't understand the point of posting about stuff like this (beyond generating clicks that is). Good job informing people that the game has leaked I guess.
I pre-ordered the physical edition and am picking it up tomorrow, so it's reassuring to hear that a big patch should be on its way soon. Will be waiting for that before I start the game, hopefully will be a short wait.
That's Skul, Here Comes Niko and Picross -LogiartGrimoire- wishlisted. I'll probably be buying Skul soon since it's actually half-off right now, I'm surprised I'd never heard of it before as it seems totally up my alley. Process of Elimination looks really cool too, I've had it on my wishlist for ages, definitely need to pick it up eventually.
Also, definitely +1 for Silent Hope, that game is a lot of fun and I'm actually surprised to see it wasn't reviewed. Nice to see it second in the poll.
These features are great, I meant to make a few recommendations myself but ended up forgetting, but I'll be sure not to miss the next one.
Well, hopefully at least the 1.6.6 stuff will also be included in the next condole update, would be a bit lame to wait all this time only to still be one update behind when it drops.
This is good to hear and I guess I'm somewhat glad the Switch physical version is only coming out in May, hopefully the issues will all be sorted by then.

At first glance this looks extremely similar to Bo, down to the two letter protagonist hah. Both games look cool though.

Re: Soapbox: Why I Love A Good Map, And That Time I Mapped Yoshi's Melons For Nintendo Power
I do love a good map, both for the usefulness and the way the can draw you into the world. It's not particularly useful but the Final Fantasy X map is a great example of the latter: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/a/a7/FFXMAPs.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20131227201920
