@SBandy1 It drops during a boss fight and the octopus stage, and yet those are about 5-6 frames for a few seconds.

@LadyCharlie It's far from that. The 3DS version ran at 30fps while this is a solid 60fps. Not to mention lower resolution etc.

This is probably being done to avoid mentioning each of the "older" names and instead credit the original staff as a whole, so they don't breach a way for people to barge in demanding profit sharing because their name appeared in the newer version and they weren't aware of that.

I mean... come on. We're talking about a company that sues individuals for romhacking and save editors, what else would you expect?

@Citano This is a long gone issue. LCD and OLED panels aren't affected by magnetic fields like CRTs were back then.

It took them long enough to reveal anything. Good luck with the proper marketing to sell this system now that everything leaked months ahead.

1 was the pinnacle of its genre, maybe surpassed by DMC V at some point, 2 was good and relaxing, 3 was a hard entry to swallow. Hopefully the franchise won't end there.

They never fixed the trilogy to begin with...

@romanista Which means preservation is at a halt since they don't have any other way to distribute official soundtracks outside a Switch Online plan. I fail to see who's their audience with this app, really. I like the idea but the subscription model is just wrong for people who don't own the hardware, it costs more than Spotify but offers way less, with no Desktop version as well.

The drip-feeding strategy will not work with this one. People will just go back to Youtube when a game (among hundreds of unavailable games) isn't there.

@Dr_Lugae Pachinko and other minigames remained exactly the same in Virtual Console releases back then. There is even a gambling minigame in Wario Land, slot machines in Mario Land 2, various casino minigames in SNES Yoshi's Island, a freaking CASINO in Super Mario RPG... well, you get the idea. None of those games received a higher rating in the release/re-releases.

@Cia Except you are. At the end of BotW, you only care about Royal gear because endgame enemies get 10x more health and no other weapon gets enough durability to stand a single encounter. In Silver Lynel fights, you switch between everything you have at your inventory and ends up wasting at least 3 good melee weapons. For what? Are the rewards really worth that much? Anyway, the strategy is always: 1- Farm Durians, cook all five in a single dish to full recovery + 20 bonus hearts; 2- Go to the castle, loot weapons, ignore enemies, warp outside; 3- Buy arrows.

@BTB20 They still break and that's the problem. Permanently losing an item that took time and effort to make is never a good thing.

@hd94 That's my point - BotW had a much wider lifespan in said social networks OUTSIDE its bunker on Reddit or game-specific forums. Talking about general media here. We have GOTY news because it was obviously nominated, but that's about it, it's been months since the last "player xxyyz makes impossible ultrahand build" article.
