Re: The World Is In Such A Mess, Investors Actually Want Nintendo To Raise The Price Of The Switch 2

@ElRoberico It's just a business, not a form of art.

The "experience" is the selling point. The creators, directors and artists might label their games as some form of expression (and they're not wrong at all), but the industry gravitates towards the money and profitable products. You don't see companies evaluating the success of a game based on customer experience and community feedback, they're considered successful if they sell enough. That's my point.

@rvcolem1 That's what I love about the series, it's very challeging if you're trying to get the best times, items etc. So much replayability layers in that. The first two games are quite hard but gets more accessible after 3 (the Wii U original was much harder than Deluxe, though).

@EriXz I don't want to be disrespectful or anything, but human resources aren't machines. A lot of people are seeking professional help (and that ratio greatly increased over the years) because our current model is unsustainable, exhausting, stressful, . They're being replaced by cheaper AI alternatives to maximize profits for CEOs, not because "some people brought that to themselves".

Skipping work for no reason is likely the first sign of precarized conditions.
