I have picked up where I left off in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 again after almost a year of not touching it. I have just started chapter 6 and am curious where the story will take me. This means I also have all the DLC to play through. And yes, I will also play a level or 5 in a certain plumber game. Have a great weekend everyone!
Most of the weekend will be taken up by a different geeky activity: Together with a buddy I'm going to paint the new Star Wars Shatterpoint miniatures and hopefully play the game as well.
On the gaming front I'll be continuing my playthrough of Assassin's Creed Mirage on the Series X and Eastward on the Switch for when my partner requires the tv. Looking forward to it all. Have a great weekend everyone!
Might be interested in this game, but I'll wait for reviews or hold out 'till a significant sale. I already know this would land on my ever growing mountain that is my backlog almost instantly. So, I know I can wait even though my need for a dopamine hit says 'buy day 1'.
I would love to see Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn remakes in a double package. Kind of like they did FE Fates or even Advance Wars 1 + 2.
This weekend I'll be trying out the freshly launched My Hero Ultra Rumble. Besides that I'm continuing my playthrough of Sonic Frontiers and Eastward. Having a lot of fun with both!
I only started playing Sonic Frontiers yesterday, so I am extremely happy with this free update. So far, I'm having a blast. I just love how intuitive the speed/platforming puzzles feel.
@Morsel I asked about the series in general I suppose. I haven't played many visual novel games. But the once I have played, Ace Attorney trilogy and 9 persons 9 doors 9 hours, I have really enjoyed. So, from what you're saying this will definitely click with me as well. Thanks!
Yesterday I've picked up the physical version of Pikmin 1+2 and the new Avatar Last Airbender game for Switch. So, my weekend will undoubtedly be filled with some time on both, but I will also be continuing me playthrough of The Teal Mask. Earlier this week I managed to finish Jedi Survivor and I've decided to completely drop Starfield, it just didn't click with me, so I finally have full focus for my lovely old Switch again.
@TYRANACLES it runs just fine for me. It is indeed absolutely stunning. I think I have it on graphics mode. Of course there's the rare glitch where it doesn't run as smooth, but nothing too out there. Highly recommend the game!
This weekend I'll be continuing my playthrough of Raincode: Master Detective on Switch and Jedi: Survivor on the Series X while I'm waiting for the official release of Starfield in the coming week.
So far, Raincode has not grabbed my attention as much as I hoped it would. Any tips on when it gets good?
I finished Pikmin 4 last week, so now I'm just playing some Vampire Survivors until Starfield releases on Xbox next week. I'm also craving some Mario in light of this week's news, so might boot up 3D All Stars as well. We'll see.
After two weeks of vacation in France I have now returned home, which means, time to play games again! I was incredibly close to finishing Pikmin 4, so that's exactly what I'll be spending my time on this weekend. If I manage to finish it I'll probably play some Planet Coaster on PS5.
I will only have time to play a very specific, but very tiny game this weekend. Maybe you've heard of it or seen them in your garden? It's called Pikmin 4. All jokes aside, I am incredibly excited to boot it up, especially after the great reviews. Beyond stoked. Happy (tiny) gaming everyone!
This weekend I will once again dive further into Final Fantasy XVI on PS5 if I have the time. I'll be at Dokomi in Germany so probably won't have much time to turn on my PS5 at home in the Netherlands at all. Instead it's more likely I'll turn on my Switch and start Master Detective: Rain Code instead. Either way it will be a great weekend. Happy gaming!
This weekend, besides working on my deadlines, I'll spend some time in the lovely new Final Fantasy XVI on PS5. I'm 4 hours in and I love it so much already! It's a gorgeous game with a gripping story. I will probably have a little break with Zelda for the coming weeks. I'm at the final mission, I believe, but I just can't put myself to confront Ganondorf.
I own the game, but have yet to start, but I'm afraid it's going to remain on my backlog for the foreseeable future. I already have Diablo IV, Tears of the Kingdom and soon Final Fantasy XVI to keep me busy.
I'm going for the North American one this time. I own the European one but I actually think I prefer the NA version. I love how it shows more of the world in the backdrop and the dystopian 'support your government' poster is bringing in that nice one person against the system theme. It does a much better job of portraying Jade as a stealthy, but powerful rebel.
Currently not playing anything on Switch except for my daily dose of Pokemon Unite. I guess I'm just waiting till Advance Wars releases next week.
Elsewhere I'm at chapter 17 of Final Fantasy VII Remake, so very close to the end. And I might purchase the Pixel Remaster, since FF7 got me in a real FF tizzy ngl
Visiting your site is one of my daily delights and has been so for many years. I'm happy to support in such a small, but meaningful way, just like you continue to really make a positive impact in my life
Personally, I really think the DLC for FE Three Houses belongs on this list. It added a fourth House to the game, new characters and fleshed out story. Made for even better replay value to an already very replayable game
Normally I wait for a review from you guys before I purchase eShop only titles. But this one I bought upon release and I'm so happy I did. It's an absolute gem and a joy to play. I'd recommend this to everyone.
@MontyCircus I bought it (haven't played it yet), but I can't wait because of the positive reviews. I hope Nintendolife is going to come with their own review.
@Thenewguy I have the exact same thing, while I enjoyed my playthrough of Engage, I enjoyed FE Three Houses much, much more. I can't really put my finger on what it is that is so different about Engage, but it might have to do with the characters not really feeling alive within the world/story to me. In Three Houses all the characters really came from parts of their territories and had extensive background info and connections to other characters through them. That might just be it actually.
The 3DS was also a beacon of light for me in a time where I had no succes in my dance career. Reading this made me well up a little and remind me of the joy it brought me back then. Thank you
I think they're very similar in portraying Samus' coolness, but I went for the Japanese one this time because of the location that is much better featured in the artwork. I love the look of this dark and mysterious corridor filled with enemies stretching out behind Samus.
Since I'm holding off buying Metroid Prime Remastered until the physical release, I will mostly be playing Hogwarts Legacy on PS5, but because me and my partner like to do a playthrough on seperate accounts (he really wanted to play as a Slytherin, typical), it gives me the perfect opportunity to play the Divine Paralogues of Hector, Soren and Camilla on Fire Emblem Engage. And since Soren is one of my favorite characters to come out of the series, I'm also kind of glad I will be pulled away from Hogwarts Legacy.
I will be spending the weekend getting into the latter half of Fire Emblem Engage. I'm absolutely loving the game, although I think I'd prefer Three Houses' more traditional medieval style story over this one.
Elsewhere I've gotten back into Elden Ring after finally defeat Morgott last night. Eager to jump into this game some more before Hogwart's Legacy releases next week. Happy gaming everyone!

Re: Random: Place Your Bets On How Long This Super Mario-Sampling Rap Track Stays Live
That was absolutely horrendous. Using this iconic beat to promote a song like this is wild to me. I'm downright hoping for a cease and desist asap.

PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo (what is this title?) for me. So far very intrigued by the look and premise of it.

@jrt87 Fire Emblem Three Houses was released in June 2019? That's close to four years ago. I do get the Pokemon comment , just not FE.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 14th)
I will be playing a few matches of Pokemon Unite and will be diving into One Piece Odyssey elsewhere.
