I bought both the AC Shadows and Xenoblade, started Xenoblade first and will play AC Shadows after a few months. I am happy both games are doing well. It's good for the industry when diverse games find an audience.
Having finished TLoZ Echoes of Wisdom on Tuesday, now it's time to continue my playthrough of Eiyuden Chronicle, so my backlog run of unfinished games continues. I'm actually further into the game than I remembered, currently in Norristar. Hope to finish it before Xenoblade Chronicles X releases. Happy gaming everyone!
I'm currently finishing the game through GamePass on Xbox and I'm loving it there. It's leaving GamePass in April so, if I finish it in time I might give the DLC a shot too, since they are quite short.
@SpinEnDash I was thinking the same thing haha, I'll probably test it out just to see it. But I doubt it will keep me away from The Great Fairy Fountain theme from Zelda for long.
@AlonditeFE Yes I totally agree and want the same thing. I'm sorry to say, but Engage left a bad taste in my mouth. So, I'm hoping for something quite different than that as well.
A Radiant Dawn/Path of Radiance remake or remaster combo pack would be devoured by me without hesitation.
Let's hope Nintendo has any of this ready for an announcement. We all know they started development on a new FE game immediately after Engage. They must have, right?!
Having finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed makes that I am now totally ready for XCX to release on Switch. It also gave me room to tackle another game that's been sitting unfinished on my backlog for too long: TLoZ Echoes of Wisdom. I picked it up again last night and immediately finished the 3rd dungeon. Making Hyrule rift free will be on my agenda for this weekend. Happy gaming everyone!
This weekend I'll be continuing my playthrough of XC 3 Future Redeemed. It has got me hooked completely and seeing all these old characters is heartwarming. The music is also one of the best I've heard in a jrpg. Hope I get to finish it before XC X comes out.
Happy gaming everyone!
A friend of mine is coming over and we have talked about playing through Yoshi's Crafted World in co-op, so that's probably what we're going to do. I'll be continuing my playthrough of Resident Evil 4 when I'm alone. I'm almost at the end! Happy gaming everyone!
Last weekend I finally managed to finish Emio and that ending was totally worth it! To make the wait for Xenoblade Chronicles X more bareable, I've decided to finally start playing the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC: Future Redeemed. I'm already hooked and can't wait till I've seen every Bunnit and Armu there is about this game. Happy gaming everyone!
Emio has finally got me hooked again last weekend. I'm now at the final chapter so, I will definitely finish that this weekend. When that's done I will continue playing Metaphor on PS5. Looking forward to it all. Happy gaming everyone!
@NintendoWife Yeah that's the one haha! I really kept on waiting for a juicy clue but felt kind of left with one single breadcrumb after like 40 minutes of dialogue. Here's hoping chapter 6 is going to give me a bit more sense of progression.
I am happy Nintendo chose to continue the series, but they could bring the pacing a bit more in line with modern storytelling.
I'm still working on my playthrough of Metaphor on PS5, that game is amazing and my GOTY, but it is massive as well! All these goty lists have gotten me back into Balatro on Switch and I have continued Emio. I'm now at chapter 5 and really need some twists to keep me hooked this time, so I'm hoping for that this weekend. Happy gaming everyone!
This weekend I will have friends over, so we'll most likely boot up Mario Party Jamboree for some good old betrayal. I'll be continuing my playthtough of Metaphor ReFantazio on PS5 when they're not here. I'm happy with Atlus' 3 big Game Awards for the game, it's well deserved! Happy gaming everyone!
@N00BiSH I own and use a Flip 5 currently. I've had it for over a year now and am still very satisfied with it. It folds neatly, so there is no dirt or dust that can gather on the screen. I would get a Flip phone again.
Currently it's only Metaphor ReFantazio on PS5 for me. It has completely absorbed me. Wishing I get drawn back to Hyrule to continue my playthrough of Echoes of Wisdom, but it will probably just be more of Metaphor this weekend. Happe gaming everyone!
I am sorry to Hyrule. I have to admit that I got completely absorbed by Metaphor ReFantazio this week and will mostly be playing that, and only that, this weekend. It really deserves all the success and praise it's been getting. Happy gaming everyone!
This weekend I will be playing a certain niche game about a princess saving her kingdom, you probably haven't heard of it.
I won't have much time to play in between other plans, but I hope to get past the Gerudo desert and into Jabul's Waters by the end of this weekend. If I can put Zelda down, maybe I'll also unveil another chapter of Emio. Happy gaming everyone!
Ah too bad, I have played this game weekly since launch. Guess I'm the only Dutchie who does or I should've bought more skins. Sad to see it go, but it was inevitable.
@Mana_Knight Thank you so much for your kind words! I can't wait for my favorite hobby to do what it does best: give me an escape, something to look forward to and ultimately make me feel relaxed. The best to you as well.
It's been a while since I had the weekend to game. I've been going through a sudden and rough break-up after a 7 years relationship, and I'm now finally starting to find the mental space again to game without my thoughts trailing off every other minute.
I only want to play story heavy games, so I have booted up Emio for the first time and am really liking the aesthetic so far! Excited to see how it all unfolds. Happy gaming everyone!
Isn't that the same release date as Fantasy Life i? This means for me that I'll have the time to wait for a discount for Sky Oceans. Wouldn't be surprised if more people share that thought.
@thehoppypoppy Yes! Omitting Orville really has me think they will go for an AC minifigure set at a later time. That's a great way to add missing favorites from the game, it seems like an easy way to profits for LEGO.
I'm mostly playing Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess through GamePass. Visually, I don't understand why this game is not also on Switch. Capcom, get on it!
On Switch I've decided to give Rain Code another try after dropping it last summer. Let's see if I get into it this time around. Happy Gaming!
It took me a week but I'm now also fully infected with the Metroid virus, and am playing Metroid Prime on the Switch. I just finished the first big boss of the game last night ane now the waters of the Chozo Ruins run clean again.
Happy gaming everyone!
This looks solid, I'm going to carefully look forward to its release. Of course an actual Skies of Arcadia remaster would be most welcome still indeed.
The reason for said discrepancy in my opinion is that Engage just really dropped the ball on narrative, character design and world. Three Houses felt real in the sense that it was sat in a greater world and there is so much lore about other countries, peoples and continents that we don't know about, yet Engage's "continent" feels gimmicky and isolated.
I would play a new game in the world of Three Houses immediately. It was anime, but its characters and issues also felt gritty, harsh and relatable in some sense. Engage wasn't just a clownshow it was the whole damn circus.
I hope to finish Another Code R so I can exchange it for Paper Mario TTYD at my local game store. I am very close to beating the second game, so I'm confident I will get it done.
My take on another Code R is just that while it's mostly entertaining, its story and its revelations are a tad too simple or predictable and the puzzles too few and far in between for my liking.
@JokerCK Thanks for this extremely refreshing take, we're not reaching at all here. You are probably the pinnacle of good journalism.
All jokes aside, I really hope the new season(s) are going to be solid and worth it. I liked what they were doing so far, but so much of my enjoyment could be attributed to Cavill's work. Guess we'll just have to wait and see
@AstroTheGamosian Yes, I whole-heartedly agree with all the things you've mentioned. A prequel where we explore Tachy's arc is also a great idea and combine that with Raven as a second playable character and I think you'd have enough freshness to tinker with.
More biomes to explore, Mother Sphere to defeat, humanity to restore and a history to figure out are all things I would love to see in a sequel (or, if the gaming gods are generous, sequels).
I started a New Game + today and I was very pleasantly surprised with all the collectables and progress they let you keep. It makes beating it on hard mode and trying for the totally different ending a lot more enjoyable imo.
I finished Stellar Blade on PS5 this week. Amazing game btw, I hugely recommend playing it. But now it's time to head back to the Switch for Unicorn Overlord and Apollo Justice. Looking forward to it. Happy gaming everyone!

I want a new good Fire Emblem game, like Three Houses. Outside of Animal Crossing that is my most played game by far.

@Pillowpants Hi, also a Dutchie here! You can download and play it if you follow this helpful guide from IGN NL: https://nl.ign.com/pokemon-tcg-pocket/153997/news/zo-update-je-pokemon-tcg-pocket-in-nederland-en-belgie
The same also works for updates. I've been consistently playing since launch, the only downside (if you can call it that) is that we can't purchase anything. No microtransactions for us.
