I'm mostly playing Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess through GamePass. Visually, I don't understand why this game is not also on Switch. Capcom, get on it!
On Switch I've decided to give Rain Code another try after dropping it last summer. Let's see if I get into it this time around. Happy Gaming!

The reason for said discrepancy in my opinion is that Engage just really dropped the ball on narrative, character design and world. Three Houses felt real in the sense that it was sat in a greater world and there is so much lore about other countries, peoples and continents that we don't know about, yet Engage's "continent" feels gimmicky and isolated.

I would play a new game in the world of Three Houses immediately. It was anime, but its characters and issues also felt gritty, harsh and relatable in some sense. Engage wasn't just a clownshow it was the whole damn circus.

I hope to finish Another Code R so I can exchange it for Paper Mario TTYD at my local game store. I am very close to beating the second game, so I'm confident I will get it done.

My take on another Code R is just that while it's mostly entertaining, its story and its revelations are a tad too simple or predictable and the puzzles too few and far in between for my liking.

@JokerCK Thanks for this extremely refreshing take, we're not reaching at all here. You are probably the pinnacle of good journalism.

All jokes aside, I really hope the new season(s) are going to be solid and worth it. I liked what they were doing so far, but so much of my enjoyment could be attributed to Cavill's work. Guess we'll just have to wait and see

@AstroTheGamosian Yes, I whole-heartedly agree with all the things you've mentioned. A prequel where we explore Tachy's arc is also a great idea and combine that with Raven as a second playable character and I think you'd have enough freshness to tinker with.

More biomes to explore, Mother Sphere to defeat, humanity to restore and a history to figure out are all things I would love to see in a sequel (or, if the gaming gods are generous, sequels).

I started a New Game + today and I was very pleasantly surprised with all the collectables and progress they let you keep. It makes beating it on hard mode and trying for the totally different ending a lot more enjoyable imo.

I am very excited to play this game finally! I have only come to own a Gamecube a few years ago and while I managed to track down some expensive boxed copies of the likes of Fire Emblem, I have always thought the price of The Thousand Year Door really was too high. Reading all these genuine positive reactions make me want to play it even more. Can't wait to just be cozied up on the couch with my OLED and this game in handheld mode

This weekend I'll be spending most of my time alternating between preparing and having an Easter brunch with family and gaming; playing FF Rebirth or Unicorn Overlord.
I'll be diving into Chapter 9 of FF VII Rebirth and going to the second region in UO. I'm still very much enjoying both of tbese games and I slowly start to wonder if any game this year will be able to top these. Good times. Happy gaming everyone!

@imadeanaccount Just like others have mentioned, the story is not bad. It's just not something we've never seen before; your typical good vs evil story. But the gorgeous style, strategic depth and charming characters really bring this game home for me. I'm sure reviews would have been way less positive if the story was bad in any way.

This weekend I'll be dividing my time between multiple outstanding games. With friends I'll be continuing the online blast that is Helldivers 2 on PS5.
On Switch I finished the demo for Unicorn Overload and that left me super impressed. Other than that I will continue to play Another Code and Pocket Card Jockey on Switch.
Happy gaming everyone!

I'm nearing the end of the Persona 5 base game, I'm at the point where I can send the calling card for the final palace. But, if all is well, I should be all set to unlock the 3rd semester and havea bit more playtime with P5 Royal. So, that's exactly what I'll be focussing on this weekend.
Elsewhere, Helldivers 2 has got me hooked. So, whenever the squad is online you'll be able to find me there. Happy gaming everyone!

Whenever I'm not studying this weekend, I'll be playing AA: Apollo Justice or Persona 5R on the Switch. Elsewhere, Shadow Tactics have launched on PS Plus Extra and I've been having a lot of fun with the top down tactical game! There are so many creative ideas tucked away in that title. I think it would be a great fit for the Switch actually. Anyways, happy gaming everyone!

Besides helping my best friend move, who just went through an emotional break-up and had to find a new place to live (plus side, we now live in the same city), I'm planning to keep chipping away at Persona 5. It would be great if I could find the 3rd target and get the Palace started before the weekend's up.

Happy gaming everyone!
