Re: Round Up: Everything Announced In The February 2023 Nintendo Direct - Every Game Reveal And Trailer

I was not all that excited overall; but Ghost Trick was definitely a pleasant shock. Baten Kaitos was unexpected, but I’m NOT playing either of those again. The thing I’m probably most excited for is the return of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons coming to GB NSO, which of course didn’t come with the GB/A NSO Release.
I’m also surprised they didn’t nudge a reminder that Hogwarts Legacy is coming out in July.

I gotta catch up before the 7th already. Took too long of a hiatus, but I got some good armor upgrades and create new good builds. I think finding those is the bigger hassle. Once you have those your you weapon, it’s smooth sailing and back on track. I’d say they first day you jump back in after a while, allot yourself about an hour and a half to refresh your memory, and then you’ll be on your way again.

Loved loved LOVED this game on DS. Played it several times over in the past.
Would definitely get it on Switch rereleased.

I don’t keep phones to play games. What happens when I move brands? What happens when the game isn’t updated to work on the modern hardware for that brand?
I’m glad they port to phone/tablet, but I think quite a few (90’s and earlier) gamers hold on to games and consoles at this point. The only phone I would’ve ever kept for gaming purposes is the N-Gage. lol

Re: Review: Eastward - A Creative Zelda-Like Adventure With Absolutely Killer Art

@Mrkittyhead There was definitely buzz, and I, myself, was even excited pre-release. I just got a used physical and started playing; I’m ending chapter one, and I’m disappointed. I’m going to finish chapter 1… maybe try chapter 2, but if I’m still not enjoying it by the end of chapter 2, it’s going on the shelf. I do love the visuals/art style and the soundtrack, but there’s not much else for me. The Earth Born “game inside a game” wasn’t all that pleasant for me, and the dialogue draaaaags. I saw someone on Reddit make a post that said “Eastward is a walking sim,” and so far, I’m inclined to believe that. Edit: Ok, that might be a bit of an exaggeration.
Find gameplay streams if you can, I’d hate to have someone miss out on a game they could potentially love. However, for me, “this ain’t it.”

@Silly_G Yeah. I’ve played through twice, and then have gone back to play specific sequences. I try to space the play time out to give myself time to forget the puzzles. I wish I could mind zap to forget and play all over again.

Re: Review: Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - A Deliciously Difficult, Must-Have Expansion

Sunbreak has been a blast; as for difficulty, I can’t say it’s been hard - even when I just had base Rise endgame armor, but maybe I’ve honed my dual blade skills at the point of starting as well? Either way, I’ve unlocked my first MR level cap, and am helping a friend finish base game while both HR and MR are steadily increasing, and getting all my cool new elemental weapons, which, I’ve gotta say, there are some standouts.
