Like everyone else, I think it’s charming and lovely. If the in-game bgm is similar to the trailer music, it could be one of those cozy little games you can play relaxed and chilling in a recliner or adjustable bed and a blanket. Definitely got my eyes on the lookout. As long as it’s not released friggin July 27!!

Rumor has it the Pro can use the touch screen and TV at the same time while docked, and you can play a game on the TV while you start your instapot and air fryer on the touchscreen.

@Ulysses Frankly, it could’ve been either... or both. Nonetheless, I have disposable income to impulse-buy, and rarely do I impulse-buy.

@Alienfreaks04 I was about to say the same thing. I’ve seen it for $15 so many more times than $20. The first time I’ve seen it on sale for $30 actually.

How about they slow their roll and finish this release before talking about how the second one could be released (and definitely delayed on the Switch... AGAIN!).

Or maybe Sakuna 2: Let’s Duet Rice and Slow.
A multiplayer where the one that only wants to farm can, and the one that only wants to explore can and gather resources.

@BloodNinja I can remember the name the great Mizuti; I swear they said the name so many times. Can’t tell you I remember anything about the character though. Lol
I looked back at that game... it was beautiful... I don’t remember the story... and I’d NEVER play it again.

This was a nice wake-up call. It’s a straight port... but take my disposable effin’ income!!!

Haven’t seen the anime, but it looks wonderful and fantastical. The game doesn’t look like my cup of tea, but the screenshots look beautiful.

I beat Ys Origin and No Straight Roads this week, so now I just need to beat Dandara, and start playing Shining Resonance, Iconoclasts, and Luigi’s Mansion 3. Gotta get rid of this backlog before a new game.

I’ll wait for a sale. I was excited for it though.

I have 2 pro controllers and never got one of these. I might just get one to replace a Nintendo-branded pro controller... just to see how great it is.

@PJOReilly I probably will have the majority of what you can recommend, but give me 3-5 games on Switch that could curb the desire to play games like this. I just don’t want to be forced to pull out my trusty Vita to play Odin Sphere, which I may do anyway.

I was sooo ready for this one, forgot about the release date, and then saw this review. Is it really that bad though?

Doesn’t look all that fluid, and it seemed hard to read the screen when watching the video from my mobile phone. Not sure how much more legible is could be in the switch handheld screen.

This is very exciting and I never realized this was happening. Very generous indeed, and easily could’ve been priced, and I still would’ve bought it.

This is cool, but many years too late. I don’t know the last time I played it on PC.

I really want to get Kingdoms of Amalur for portability, but I just bought it in January for XBOne. 😭

I don’t know if I can get any nonogram game if it isn’t better than Murder by Numbers... I may wait for a lower-priced sale than the current sale.

Sucks for people I guess. I have no complaints, but I guess that’s because I want to play it early, don’t mind not having physical for this, would be busy during the week when released, and have disposable income. I also enjoy listening to the P3 battle music while fighting.

Shouldn’t people be getting the BB Cross Tag Battle deluxe edition for USD $25 (originally $50) since the $5 sale version doesn’t have all the characters?

I have been waiting for the re-release since I played 3D Land on 3DS and couldn’t play the Wii U version. Preordered! Picking it up between work.

I played the demo when they announced this on Switch:

“I played the demo... There's more flow in making combos in Wizard of Legend than this game, but not to compare this to another game. In general it felt real difficult trying to do combos, and there's this god awful sound effect that's not like a sword when using the necromancer sword.
I also found it disappointing that I had to get rid of an item in an inventory slot for potion I was going to immediately use anyway.
I feel I'm being a bit nitpicky, but all in all, I think I'll pass on this. Great concept though!”

I remember it being a HARD pass then. I’m not surprised by this score.

I didn’t realize the Battle Axe and Bladed Fury were under the same publisher! I just knew I wanted both! I’m kind of excited, but I already have Bladed Fury waiting in my Amazon list.

The combat could’ve been a bit smoother, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. This is by far the only game I’ve played with a farming sim in it (minus Minecraft many years ago), and I’ve got to say I actually enjoyed that part. It made me put time in the game on some days where I just wanted to do some fighting or traverse the shrine, but hey, it got its hours in.

Day 1 and double-dipping to get the physical on Switch! I still listen to the soundtrack from Anamanaguchi. This is the last Beat 'em up I need to be satisfied... unless someone makes a phenomenal one in the near future.

I’ve always been a God Eater rather than a Monster Hunter, but Rise especially looked good, the controls were smooth, and the Palamut was a nice addition. Played the tutorial in handheld, and can’t wait to play the demo missions with friends.

Edit: Also the picture of the characters from MH:Rise on the article gives me Melanie & Militia (from RWBY) vibes.

Meh. It’s been over a year and a half since I picked up the game. Too many good ones popping up to want to pick it back up.

I buy physicals so I have the freedom to do what I want with them. And it’s not like Switch/(3)DS are easily scratched CDs. If they went back to CDs, I’d probably be almost all digital.

From the industry standpoint, I think physical releases stopped being about physical games when they couldn’t release a game without a day 1-14 patch.

I typically play on normal. There’s nothing wrong with playing on easy though. There are games, like TWEWY, where I will play on high difficulty for high reward , but those are typically the games I’m putting in extra hours on.

I’d much rather prefer an experiment with something vibrant like Sunkist, or one of the Fantas than Dew. I don’t even drink Dew if it’s the last soda choice. It’s not even visually stunning. But Doritos and Dew official gamer noms? Really?!
