What's with the T-1000 skeletons?!? Can WayForward save Bloodstained No. 9?!? Will this mystery be unraveled in 2019?!? 2020?!?

Starlink, Sky Force Reloaded, Horizon Chase Turbo and Manticore were my favorites. Threw Milanoir some love for art style, but could never make it past that stupid driving stage.

2018 comes to a triumphant close without Shakedown Hawaii, RedOut, Bloodstained No. 9 and 90s Super GP (f/k/a 90s Arcade Racer . . . perhaps superfluous thanks to Horizon Chase Turbo). It was a good year regardless. Hoping they follow in 2019 along with Bayonetta 3 and Metroid 4 . . . drool. . . .

Thanks to this review, I just got my new favorite Switch game. Love arcade racers and this one belongs in an arcade. The speed, the music, the colors and the TIGHTS controls are top notch. And there's an upgrade system to boot!

1) Take advantage of this deal. 2) Put Airwing on shelf; play digitally, 3) added a few weapons (Shockware is uber nice!)/planes via eShop as desired, 4) play til heart's content.

Yeah, remember in the first game, you could only have 4 cars in the garage at once no matter how many spaces you had?!? Seems like they've addressed that issue. And still no roundabouts in sight (fingers crossed, but not holding my breath on that one, lol!)

If Way Forward is involved, then I might have to stop referring to this train wreck as Bloodstained No. 9 . . . . NAH!!

The BIGGER problem is that if you have a child account, cross-play is now disabled across all consoles!

FYI, physical copy of Gear Club 2 is $49.99 on Amazon (US), not $60 as stated above. After a drought of games that did not appeal, this last few weeks has been incredible. GRIP, Horizon Chase, OutRun and Gear Club 2 on the racing front alone....

I used the J eShop for Punch-Out!! (released a week earlier) and I’ll do it again for OutRun. My top 2 arcade titles FINALLY on my Nintendo. Woo-hoo!!

Caught this one at the end of the WiiU era and enjoyed it. I recall there is a way not to display the scantily clan in the margins for family-safe play.

Price is so overrated. If a game is good and you enjoy it, you remember it for a lifetime. If a game sucks, any price seems like robbery.

@Mykillvee The Cleveland Indians are phasing out Chief Wahoo. The Redskins continue to be a sore sources for some Native Americans. It is not cool to continue to offend Native Americans, even if it is a small percentage of that group. It's about using good judgment and showing an ounce of empathy. Kudos, Nintendo.

@Kalmaro There is a very strong sentiment here in the States against such portrayals with sports teams, and some teams are moving away from them. Nintendo appears to be using good judgment here.

The context here is that Nintendo has a long history of stereotyping just about everyone, just see the complete Punch-Out roster. But if it offends a group like Native Americans, glad they are doing the right thing. Not a big deal.

The first one was way harder that the second, but still entirely awesome.

I loved NFL Blitz and beat all 4 of them on the N64, BUT let's not be revisionists . . . the CPU was SUCH A CHEATER!! If this game continues that tradition by blue shelling skill out of the game, be it special powers or ridiculous field obstacles, then that is a legit problem....

GRIP is coming! Actually will be picking up a physical copy at GameStop. Banking hard this will satisfy my arcade racing itch!

Might give this another whirl before Switch time dedicated fully to GRIP next week.

I bought nearly every notable Wii U retail game at one point, and most were awesome, but that slow drip was really tough to take. The Switch experience has been so different, so many games, so many ports (of shmups and fighters!!), so many remasters, and actually less have resonated with me, but the future remains bright . . . starting with GRIP next week for us arcade racing fans!!

I'll probably get a family plan eventually, but we've got no need for online services ATM. If I wanted to play a NES game, I'd play an NES game on our NES.

I was a fan of the first and completed all championships. It was fine for what it was (and given the dearth of good racers on the Switch). Not sure if I'm ready for round 2 yet . . . hoping the racing experience is enhanced . . .fewer roundabouts please!!!

So many good points raised by the above commenters. Even if the launch was more immediate, the online ran smoothly, etc., I think the free-to-play and uber popular Fortnite still would cause online participation in Morphies to be weak.

TATE mode doesn't seem to fit with this game ?!?!?
