Hey just a warning to my fellow Amazon US users...there is a Cyber Monday deal for what looks like special edition Switch Pro Controllers ($33 or 2 for $55) but they are THIRD PARTY controllers. I had Smash and Splatoon ones in the the cart before I realized they were not OEM.

@KitsuneNight Right? "Somewhat reminiscent of the Hori Mini Pad" must be journalistic code for "direct ripoff". But my snarkiness aside, always happy to see new products for the N64 and NL reviewing them.

The real test, of course, is the joystick performance and durability. The Hori Mini's stick, while durable, is more sensitive than the OEM stick, which is great for some games and not so great for others. Perhaps @nintendolife will update this review to add that critical information.

Level 6-2 certain was "The Fight of Your Life". NA FTW here easily.

Asphalt 9 is the best NEW racer on Switch. It's free. Played and enjoyed Gunman Clive quite a bit on Wii U.

Great idea but poor design! How could they NOT put the trademark NES Controller gray-on-black rounded rectangles along the top of the mouse?!? Leaving most of the top bare is just weak.

This may be the best arcade racer to ever grace a Nintendo console. Gameplay and graphics are RIGHT out of the arcade (think Cruisn Blast). Many great modes (career, MULTIPLAYER, daily and weekly challenges) to balance the grind and avoid any perceived pay walls. Much fun, 9/10 IMHO.

This "study" surprises me. Gaming (good gaming to be clear, lol) definitely releases endorphins and that can sometimes cause you to play "just one more time" over and over and over again because mentally (perhaps subconsciously) it feels so darn good. and @sanya_exe just expressed my point way more vividly, lol

I'm going with F.A.K.E. Going back to AT LEAST the N64 days, each button has its own unique mold. So I don't see how the B mold could have a Y imprint even for a single button.

Played four or so races last night and really enjoyed it. Great graphics and the gameplay is like Cruis'n USA 64 with much tighter controls. The 360 takedown move is pretty cool too. Seems very promising.

On the Wii U version, you can chose a boob-free border. I enjoyed the game on that system. Kinda short and no 16:9, but fun nevertheless.

It really looks like Manticore, which I really enjoyed (and glad it was referenced here!). Might check this out, though I doubt it lacks the voice acting that Manticore surprising featured so predominantly.

Probably an intended Christmas present Santa forgot to put under the tree. It happens.

I much prefer 30 seconds of gameplay to some flashy trailer comprised of 98% cinematic scenes as is often the case. This is a Day One for me and the fam.

I had my first go last night and it is a fun game. I personally do not think of it as a sim because realism is not the goal . . . fun is. And boy do I love arcade baseball games.

The controls are pretty intuitive, though I'm still not 100% understanding the secondary pitch aiming mechanic...but minor gripe. I cannot wait to make a custom team and my daughter wants to make her softball team because, like Baseball Stars, Metalhead had the foresight to include female players too.

Oh man, this is gonna be an expensive week! Hooray for a new, full screen shmup!
