@saturn_hero: Tastes vary, but i enjoyed the heck out of Skyforce Reloaded. You'll have to replay levels to earn different accomplishments, but you'll want to because you can use different ships and its just plain fun.

If you can get Raijin RXN on the cheap, also worthwhile because it's not a port and utilizes the whole screen and is generally fun until the end.

@Agramonte I really wish Nintendo Life would editorialize a smidgen on these lists. 1) there is a bunch of crap, granted, but 2) there are also good games that NL hasn't reviewed or mentioned. I resort to going to Youtube and finding trailers or initial reviews, which of course I don't trust as much as NL.

Astral Chain = Sin & Punishment 64 Sequel?!? You've got a brother/sister combination saving the world, the creature designs are similar, and if you REALLY strain to recall, Sake said he wanted to be a policeman at the end of S&P. Plus the Treasure/Platinum connection. Oh, and it LOOKS GREAT!!

I am looking harder at these lists after scoring BIG on Horizon Chase Turbo and Football Heroes Turbo. City of Brass has a Castlevania 64 vibe (with way better graphics), Food Truck Tycoon might train me to be on the Food Network one day, and Mercury Race seems like a lo-fi, 80s arcade version of FAST Racing NEO. All seem promising....

This is like Tecmo Super Bowl and NFL Blitz combined. It's extremely addictive if you like arcadey sports. Big bonus, teams and players are fully customizable and upgradeable. Great way to spend $15.

OutRun FTW!!! (Almost). Stoked this legendary arcade racer is FINALLY playable on a Nintendo home console. All of the years and all of those clones (imma lookin at you Rad Racer!) and finally we can enjoy the real deal at home (and not via adapters!).

@thesilverbrick: I think NL's review stated there is some "new" content in the form of slightly remixed levels and with the characters, but we probably share a frustration that Nintendo hasn't released a truly new NSMB for the Switch. Loved it on the Wii U.

Re: Talking Point: What's Next For Nintendo After Switch?

We posters at NL probably got a Switch Year One if not Day One. But PLENTY of families around me are just got a Switch for the 2018 holidays. I'm just starting to see kids (other than my own) with Switches in the wild. So my hope is for Nintendo to GIVE IT TIME AND SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF BIG N AND AAA GAMES!! And fun new imaginative Joy Cons like those Game Cube ones the internet convinced us existed.
