The app was exactly Nintendo's brand of creative kookiness, and if you "got" what it was about, then maybe you loved it like me. 600+ questions answered, learned a lot about some online friends and a bit about myself. So I'll miss it.

Playing Manticore. Enjoy the battle stages, but still not grasping the ship(s) upgrade system. Might take a few swings at Pizza Pasta in ACA Punch-Out!! too.

Thanks for the review Shiryu! I bought it this weekend. I love the voice acting (wow is there a lot), and the graphics are impressive. I am waiting for the gameplay to pick up a little, but I'm still on my first ship and have not fully grasped the upgrade system (here's where a printed manual would be great).

One knock: when I beat a boss, I want to to see his ship gloriously explode . . . not a cutscene with one last statement of bravado.

I remember playing this in the arcades a ton, and then getting MT Punch-out one magical Christmas . . .and being slightly disappointed that Little Mac was so small, and there was no announcer saying "body blow, body blow, put em away." Of course, that disappointment faded quickly, as MT Punch-Out proved to be one of my favorite video games of all time.

Absolutely amazing to be able to add the O.G. Punch-Out!! to a home console for $8.

Can we please get OutRun for a Nintendo console?!?!?!?

@Jayronauron: Sadly, way more kids in my area are taking to soccer than baseball these days. The pace of play at the early levels is unavoidably slow, and for the most part, baseball is limited to boys, whereas soccer is not.

@Agramonte: If you're holding your breath for RedOut, I fear you'll have to change your avatar to Inky . . . . .

. . . as for the framerate, it is stated in the beginning of the video this was an "earlier build" and the game is still being optimized.

@SmaggTheSmug: Exactly. If a game like this is coming to the Switch, then it seems like they will all be ported. A Wii U collection will be of no significance...better and portable versions of its titles will be on the Switch. #backedthewronghorse.

@NL: Any update on this game? I read that the PS4 and Xbox 1 versions (already released) have many new modes and new player models. Also have historic players (a la NBA Playgrounds). Hoping the Switch version has these. Best Buy says the Switch version has a release date of 4/17, but Gamestop is showing 5/29 . . . . .
