Id be happy with manual save backup to the cloud, or a once a week automation.

I watched about an hour of the game being played by some guys on YouTube for their scary game marathon for October, and it is definitely a game to recommend. It plays like a point and click adventure, but one that is logical and the puzzles are designed for you to figure them out fairly easily, or at least they are for the first hour. Absolutely nails the atmosphere.

Darn, the fact that the events are pre-determined severely reduces the appeal for this game.

Chances are, it was being worked on for a future update and wasn't intended to be working on this console update.

They finally have the hardware available in stores reliably in my area. At this point they will be relying on their software to sell their console, and that is looking pretty dang positive.

They likely uncompressed some of the music or textures to allow better performance.

I was seriously considering Rogue Trooper Redux until Doom was announced. Now... I dunno.

I enjoyed the game so far, but I feel like I'm losing interest in it. The enemies in the third world feel really cheap and I doubt ill continue on.

This would be neat... If I didn't already have too many games to play on my Switch now with a ton more on the way.

@sillygostly Bethesda got a lot of complaints of the cover for the other versions of the game from long time fans. Xbox One and PS4 fans WISH they got this cover standard.

Stardew Valley. Of course, my son will ask me to put in Snake Pass like he always does.

@LiberatedAnimal Entirely different game engines, and Doom has a lot more enemies onscreen at once, and much larger environments.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'm 6 foot 3 inches and the joycons feel great to me. Don't know what you're complaining about.

@ANeonChicken I grew up in Canada and honestly the only time I saw it there was when my grandparents would bring several bottles of the soda with them when they would visit. It was a rather rural part of Canada, but still. I always figured it was just a US thing, honestly.

@ANeonChicken My grandfather lives in Cleveland and always had bottles of the soda in his fridge when I was a kid. I currently live in Pennsylvania and I've never seen it around here. It's possible it's just an Ohio thing.

I bought the game and have played it some, but I don't expect to finish it. I mostly bought the game to support the Devs and hopefully encourage them to release SteamWorld Heist 2

@SLIGEACH_EIRE you know that the real money is in releasing games on the Atari Jaguar.

Right now we are seeing some semi-rushed results from teams that aren't that used to the Switch hardware. NBA 2k18 was on a hard deadline, and they chose to release it at the same time (in digital form) instead of pushing it back. We are seeing a lot of releases try and capitalize on the excitement the device is inspiring, even if the developers in question didn't really expect the level of interest from consumers.

I think next year will see games being released from third parties in more stable forms than we are seeing right now.

I'm looking forward to what else could be coming from then. I'll happily buy Fallout 4 again to play it on the go too.

I expect release dates for Skyrim and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, MAYBE surprise announcement for Fallout 4 and Stardew Valley being available right after. Smash Bros might be announced, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I can see the retailers now, "scrabbling" to get the Switch available for sale. Not sure how playing a board game will help, however.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE welcome to gaming 2017. I can't tell you how many times I would check the games store on the Xbox One and just ve presented with a dozen new ports from last generation.

I loved these games, (well, the first one, anyways) but I'm not entirely sure how much I want to get this. I will see what is available for shooters by then.

If I had this on my Game boy color, I would have wasted hours upon hours on it.

Fast RMX does something similar. When the bug appears, it freezes when you select your vehicle.

Both of these look very nice.

It's got holes, but I am pretty impressed in the general quality.

It kinda feels like Monster Hunter XX for the Switch is intended to milk the Japanese audience one last bit while their make Monster Hunter World. That's probably why they didn't intend it to come to the West.
