@GrailUK I was about to triumphantly point to last year's Nintendo Direct that announced Doom and Wolfenstein as proof, then i realized that was in September.

Whoops.

Wait... Does this point to the possibility of another Nintendo Direct soon?

@XenoShaun Doom Eternal didn't announce any platforms, but they aren't likely to announce anything before Quakecon in August.

Nintendo's E3 presentation would have been better received if the leaks weren't so prevalent. Of course, they could have helped that by not spending 20 minutes on Smash Bros changelog.

@AcridSkull So? The third parties aee doing a decent job of expanding the game library.

@AcridSkull Nintendo did actually show off a sizable number of games, but too many were leaked, too much time was dedicated to Smash, and the order that they showed stuff off didnt do them any favors either.

My wife and I played the original game together. Wow was that one stressful.

It's something to look forward to for this Spring. I'm mildly impressed with how it looks. Not that I'm a snob, i just don't always get interested in FE games.

Wait, this SUMMER? I was worried it wouldn't be out until the end of the year. Nice.

I still don't know what's going on in that game.

I'm on the fence for this game. I felt that the first demo didnt show me enough of what i wanted to see. I'll be happy to try this though.

This set my expectations high for the Direct. I am a huge mech fan.

I was hoping for The Sims to be announced for Switch.

This is looking a lot better than I anticipated. Mostly because i never heard of the game before and "free to play" doesn't usually mean quality to me.

@SmaMan it has a different focus, and establishes more of its own identity.

Even still, this is definitely an underserved genre on the Switch

Meeh, it's nice to see this, but I feel like nothing they've done really lives up to Walking Dead Season 1.

It would solve a lot of problems to have a wireless headset that could connect to the Switch and your phone at the same time and combine the audio.

@Pokefanmum82 They also announced that Gen 8 is still being developed for next year. This sounds like a project to keep people satisfied until then.

@Danito definitely The Banner Saga, especially if you have any affinity for western RPGs or older, text heavy games. It is really well written.

I've never been too happy with human (or human Like characters) being done in highly articulated fashion, because the joints always look out of place to me. I collect Transformers, and the joints in those cases fit in with the robot aesthetic.

The only way this would make sense to me is if it would download a chapter of the game at a time for play, and if you were away from an internet hotspot, you could still play the amount currently downloaded until you got to another internet hotspot. Kind of like... Episodic gameplay, almost.

Banner Saga is nice, but the UI is a mish mash and could use work.

I have the PC version, but I didn't play it much. The portable nature makes it a lot more attractive.

@Yukimasa The performance issue is just a quirk that happens with a few Switch games. If it has performance issues, restart the Switch console and they go away.

So, the way the online functionality sounds like it works, you can have other people play the NES titles with you multiplayer, or they can simply spectate. You can even transfer controls over to them. That sounds really cool to me, although this is something i would rather have for newer games.

Also frustrated by the voice chat decision.

@Pyro2020 i noticed the performance issue on the Switch version too. Restarting my Switch fixed it.

@Fearful-Octopus I'd just tell people that Swery is known for taking inspiration from David Lynch, and can be really good at telling a story and writing characters. Deadly Premonition's car conversations about little known 70's and 80's movies are fascinating to say the least.

I'm more excited for The Takeover, personally.

I love simulation games, but I'm not a sports fan in any way.

@Darth_Pascal I've had few issues in the game. The loading areas are a little wonky though.

@sikthvash I'm hoping out for Fallout 4. The gunplay and the construction was a lot of fun, even if the dialogue was a huge letdown.

@Juma009 I bought Doom and Skyrim day 1. This is another day 1 purchase for me.

@roadrunner343 Sony doesn't own Crash, though, and there were already GBA games and such.

@rjejr Goku has been repeatedly requested for Smash, but he's been rejected because he did not originate from a video game.

If they let him in, they'll have to let in the other highly requested non-video game characters. Remember, the next most requested character was Spongebob, so...

@tamantayoshi The Florida shooter played DDR. Are we going to shut down DDR cabinets now?

Honestly, I felt like this was a better minigame rather than a full game.

Did they fix the "fight the same boss 6 times problem?" If not, then i wouod have to pass.

Please more online details, Fortnite, GTA V, Wolfenstein release date, etc.
