I see a lot of good picks here, for me personally I could get Bloodstained Curse of the Moon, Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King, Freedom Planet, and A Robot Named Fight.
The dilemma as ever, is that there's a lot of games I want to get physical, and I wonder about all of these games' prospects.
I noticed some of the heavy hitters like Steamworld, Hollow Knight, Shovel Knight, and Undertale aren't part of this sale.
Quite a few temptations there - maybe 20XX
May grab golf story so i can keep my LRG copy sealed.
Tempted by RE: Revelations but need to know; does this version suffer from the deadzone issues that plagued the Wii U version?
I guess I have to buy Bloodstained and Axiom Verge, now.
@Eef Was my thoughts exactly, downloading now
Damn...that's a decent sale. I hope some come to the US too.
I will probably get poi as it has been on my wishlist for a while and maybe oxenfree
Waiting for that comment who'll say "Nothing for me this week", despite this massive sale.
Golf Story and Bridge Constructor. The latter being more of an oddity purchase as we will never see Portal 3. Though I could do the first 2 games again on switch just saying Valve.
A half decent sale but Again a lot of these games don't go as low as they do on other consoles. Sorry if it sounds like I am complaining. A larger selection of non-indie games would also be better.
@CupidStunt : totally agree.
Definitely getting Revelations 2. Loved the first one. Maybe Inside and Detention as well.
My God Cammy looks dumb as fugnut in that flight attendant bathing suit, who's idea was it to take her out of the cammo suit ???
Nope...
Axiom Verge, Freedom Planet and Golf Story - don’t argue just do it 🙂
Nice. Monster Hunter and Golf Story for me, for sure. I don't know much about some of the others. I bought Axiom Verge last time it was on sale.
(I don't understand why people love physical versions so much around here. Who wants to keep swapping cartridges?)
Shame it's Switch only.
Damn! Really wanna get monster hunter but red dead this week and then £90 on the taiko game and drum bundle in couple of weeks.
Great sale but sadly not going to get anything as I am either not interested in the game or I already have them.
@CupidStunt I know what you mean. There's some I've bought on other systems that will need to drop lower before I buy them again.
@PlayerOne day will come when it all goes offline and sure as he'll the SD card will corrupt and away goes your digital games. That's why I buy physical. I still buy plenty digitally though.
If we get some of this in the US i'd definitely bite.
A bit of advice please.
Would you get Limbo and Inside for your switch if you had an xbox one. Is there any difference between them?
I loved Revelations on the 3DS, anyone have the sequel on Switch? Very tempted. I was hoping Wolfenstein 2 or The Walking Dead might have been on offer for Halloween.
I'm not used to Nintendo offering us such amazing deals through their eShops! So many good games on that list to buy if you don't already have them.
@Captain_EO revelations 2 is well worth that price. It's a good game for switch
Honestly gonna get super meat boy
I think I'll check out Mighty Gunvolt Burst.
@ButterCup get it. Super meat boy is an awesome game
My money went straight into Mighty Gunvolt Burst, Bloodstained Curse Of The Moon, Owlboy and Freedom Planet. No-brainers all around: awesome sale this time.
Anyone knows if Knight Terrors is any good?
@kobashi100 thank you!
@FX102A No, RE: Revelations 2 is a truly excellent port and by far one of the best (and also best looking, on par with the PS4 version) games on the system. The optional motion controls for aiming are outstanding and blow Splatoon out of the water. The only real downside is that loading a level can take up to two whole minutes (although usually around one minute). In the story mode this doesn't really matter as the levels/episodes are, or at least can be, pretty long, but in raid mode it can be pretty frustrating. Eventually you just get used to it, but it still sucks. Other than that, it's brilliant.
Do take note though that Nintendo will now bug you to buy a Nintendo Online subscription every time you start the game, because it tries to connect to the RE.NET servers to find out if you have any bonus items to transfer and to find out what the latest special missions are in raid mode. Such a privilege, paying Nintendo to be allowed access to Capcom's servers.
@Captain_EO @kobashi100 I agree, it's great. By the way, you usually also get a significant discount on RE:R1 if you've already bought RE:R2, or on RE:R2 if you've already bought RE:R1. I wonder if they stack up with the current discounts.
I'm quite tempted by something scary - as it's the time of year for it! Outlast 2 looks amazing, but having watched RGT85 talk about it, I'm a bit concerned it's too messed up for me. I enjoyed Zombie U on Wii U, but that's really the only horror game I can remember playing. Is Resident Evil 2 in any way similar? Never played an RE game before.
@MarzipanD exactly... Almost like buying air when that day comes..
@kobashi100 @c2017nlifemedia went ahead and bought it, thanks for your input!
Golf story!!
Inside, Sine Mora and maybe Limbo are jumping out at me. Red dead 2 is out tomorrow but i know i won't have time to play it until Christmas. And then it's Smash season. Too many games. Not enough free hours. Great complaint.
Sine mora ex is a blast and plays well on the switch.... It's a hard game though.
The Gardens Between got me with this sale. Might have to buy more later.
Tempted to get Blodstained at that price, I was on the fence because there might be a physical release eventually, maybe as a bonus on the Ritual of the Night release whenever that will come out, but I guess at that price I could afford to double dip if that was to happen.
Rive, Furi and 20XX for me. Because I'm weak and can't resist a good discount.
@MarzipanD I'll be buying the next-gen remasters or emulations by then.
I'd really implore people with even a remote interest in Castlevania to download Bloodstained. It's a truly excellent homage to the old NES games.
I'm quite tempted to pick up Axiom Verge for that price. Think it might be worth it but the slightly muddled colour pallete of the graphics doesn't seem to float my boat.
Hmm, Bloodstained and maybe Death Road to Canada?
Whoa, tons of discounts! I have to restrain myself, so I just downloaded Oxenfree and Blossom tales.
Indie games are trash.
