Super Mario Wonder, is by far my favourite game…
Sure, maybe its not the “best” game (maybe?) but I havent love a game as much in years…

Next Mario Kart will be “Mario Kart Maker”
Im pretty sure it will be, at least in some degree…

@NintendoWife I loved it… but I really felt it was way too easy (well, except for the special world). And the multiplayer isn’t as fun as the lesser NSMB series.
Even with those shortcomings, I loved it, think I havent that much fun since Galaxy

While I really, really love SMB Wonder, I find the multiplayer side of it very meh. The lack of interaction between the players (unless you are Yoshi, and nobody wants to be easy Yoshi) is a disappointment for me. I prefered the maniac multiplayer mayhem of the NSMB series

I was rooting for this game, as the developer is from Lima-Peru, the country I was raised on.

I love Wonder, really havent enjoy a game so much since de SNES era
... but sadly too easy and finished 100% too soon...
It tells lots about a game that is worst con is that I need more of it!

No way Nintendo is repeating an old Gimmick.
Even more, Im pretty sure, next console would not have any new revolutionary or too uniqe featires… it would be a more powerful Switch…. Just like de Snes was to the Nes…
I hope this time it could be almost as powerful as competing consoles, when docked, the dock could have some extra processing power inside..

@John_Deacon totally agree.
We had much more time, and much less games to play as kids.
I finished so many NES games even without really enjoying them, just for the sake of finishing them!

I think this has become my favorite Switch game ever. But sadly, too easy/short for me.
Of course as a almost 50yo NES era kid I am biased toward 2D Mario….

A Great game… but falls short from a 10/10
Because:
-lack of challenge, extremely easy
-Cooperative play isnt great
-badges not encouraged
-lacks variety of bosses
-Silliest story yet.. and that was a low bar for a Mario gane!

Loving the game... but as I keep playing it, Im being letting down by its difficulty... it too easy!. Beat almost every level on the first try (whith every wonder seed collected)... Im hoping world 5 and 6 step up its challenge.
I know Mario Games are not particulary difficult... but at least made me die a few times befre finishing a level.

Why would Nintendo make any effort in releasing a Demo? Anyone demanding one will buy it regardless. Will a Demo make more sells? Arguably it could make non Mario fans to not buy the game instead. The hype for this game is so high that maybe a Demo to ease the curiosity could be counter productive….

Lego did it better 40 years ago with its Fabuland sets.

Both are horrendous…. But at least the japanese give you a very little more context… with more horrendous art…

@nocdaes yes its plastic… but no body is throwing it away. Lego is one of those toys that can be passed from generation to generation.
I have lots of 1960 sets from the 60’s

I have being waiting for a Lego Fabuland revival for years… this could have been that!!!
My kids would have loved it (surely not more than me)

So sad. Im still hurt by Mario 35 departure

@DwaynesGames this. Lack of manuals is my major complaint about modern gaming.
I surely pay a premium for reciving manual with my physical games

Loving the art design, and the game seems fun enough...
But those sounds! its like being in a Casino hell.
I only hope the jump sound get fixed in an update or something.

I understood that all characters plays the same, with the same abilities…. But In that video it seems Peach can glide a little bit while falling as always… maybe is only my imagination?

I got mine a few month ago (EU) with my Totk keyring. Love it both!
The bag is sturdy enough for light shopping.

@vyseofhr it may run full throttle only in tv mode (maybe even helped by a extra processor in the dock?)
And with lower graphic settings in handheld mode…

That commercial is so 90's...

After learning to build the Flying bike, every other means of transport (horses, surfing, gliding) became useless… that vehicle almost broke the game for me…

@Anti-Matter you practically want another type of game, just with Mario Characters....
Sure, maybe some not main line games, as Mario + Rabidds, or Paper Mario.
But Mario games have an style and a kind of spirit... its different.

But change the Mario formula to "deepen" the character may ruin it... Thats what happened to Sonic...

@nessisonett lol.. im not american... and the cartoon shows, the japanese anime, and the comics are what I relate with Mario as a character. A few "Wohoos" here, and some "Mamma mias" dont make a character... his personality was already set way before Martinet.
And yes, the new voice actor does a similar voice as Martinet in Mario wonder, But I only hope to tone down his voice in the future.
For example, the film did a ok job with a full conversation Mario.

Mario was a character several years before Martinet.... there where Animes, Ads, and several Cartoon shows before him...

Love the artwork and boy how I miss the printed manuals.
Ill keep waiting for a new Mario game inspired by this kind of art. Surely Mario Wonder is very close to it.

@EarthboundBenjy Is just not the best configuration for those parts… is much better fan on front, steering middle, and fan on the back.. more like a flying motorbike… much more stable and easy to carry those pesky seed people.

I will love to get a huge graphic processor upgrade.... While its not easy for a portable console, it can be done by having an additional graphic card and proccesor in the dock to boost graphics while playing on TV mode.... best of both wolrds....

are those characters made up of pixels? They do t look pixel art to me, just regular cartooncute characters.

Im enjoying it... its a great game in many aspects... the collecting side of it is not one... breaking stones stop being fun after a while.
And while I think is a better game than BOTW (just because its world seems more alive, the boss battles and liked the dungeons and the story), it lost the "wow" factor of the first one... I really hoep for a brand new world to explore... and no.. the underworld is just boring, and the floating islands are barely explorable.
Again, its a great game... speacilly if you havent played BOTW, and I having a fun time... but I am sure Nintendo can make a much greater Zelda...
