@Jhena Well... lately I tried to play again the "greatest of them all": Ocarina of time, sadly I found it unplayable, I loved it 25 years ago, but it aged poorly.
A Link to the Past on the other hand, is still as great as always, for me, the real greatest Zelda Game.
And yes, EoW, was nice... not GREAT, but nice.

I think it would be cool to have an extra processor on the dock, for real next gen power, when playing on tv…. Sure, nintendo is not about graphical power, but it would be nice.
Anyway, Im pretty sure the Switch 2 will have a gimmick that would be a surprise to all.

Nintendo being Nintendo, there are LOTS of game music still absent. No SMB2, SMB3, SMW…. What gives???

Weirdly (and almost unnaceptable) is the absence of some basic music! and I am not talking about some logical absences (Capcom and Konami games) but S. Mario Bros 2? S. Mario Bros 3?

This is the first game that made me think about having a virtual voice assitant on a game console. I think that in this game it would be very usefull to ask for a determined echoe with voice commands... "Siri, er, Switch, create water cube"

I really hate how those 3D graphics they use on cover arts of the era aged. So ugly... thats why i never got any love for DK country games... the 3D models used in the cover art and in the game itself was really ugly...

Thats pretty standard with Nintendo´s first party games, isnt it? And they rarely (never?) relase home demos of their main games.
With the Switch they did that with Mario Odissey, Zelda BOTW, Mario Kart, Splatoon, and surely other i cant remember now..

As other commenter said, its looks too similar to the current console. They really have to make it look different enough in order to avoid another Wii U fiasco.

I would love if they named this one the "Super Switch"...

I hope there is no a gamebreaking echo, as the hoverbike was in TOTK. Learning to build a hoverbike ruined the motivation to build more creative things. The hoverbike was just perfect for almost any situation...

Its obviously a rip off of King Kong… what else could it be?
And “Donkey Kong” is sillier than most of the other proposals, we have only got used to it…

@PinderSchloss Well, as a Mario fan myself, I really enjoyed the film, and watched it with a smile the whole time.
It was just fun. Sure it was safe, and Didnt try to be anything more. But It was a perfect representation what the Super Mario games are... mindless simple fun.
Nevertheless I can understand why some people didnt enjoy it. Their spirit have grown up, sadly have lost their child soul

The North American one its just reusing the art from NES Megaman 3…
its weird they insisted using such ugly design for the Gameboy game
American Capcom was awful with their box art but they where even worse with their game manuals…

@Blofse lol, “Pac man” eyes predate Pac-Man and video games in general for several decades.
They were very common in early cartoons, from Mickey Mouse to Felix the cat.
Many modern cartoons still use it, and specially those imitating old aesthetics (Cuphead)…

As cool as having a Nintendo Museum is, the architecture of the building is so boring and generic, if not straight ulgy. Did they refuse to hire at least a cheap architect or something?
It look as a generic low profile office building.

“Electromagnetic”??? Or it will be flimsy as hell, or it will suck dry the batteries… I doubt its going that route… mechanical attachment is much more robust (and maybe cheaper)

I played RPG many, many years ago, so its almost as they both are new games to me.

My favourites ate 3, 2, wonder, workd and Galaxy, in that order….

As influential and of historical significance as Metroid is (and personally is my favorite game on this list), I think some of the other finalists are more important in video game history... Asteroids, Sim City, Tony Hawk, and Guitar Hero had greater impact over all.

Lego Fabuland did it better 40 years ago.... but these looks nice anyway.

In Portugal we only get the Cardboard toys... and those are so terrible and end in the trash most of the times....
They should switch to these plush toys always.
(still got some from the late 90's from latinamerica... Snoopy, Lion kling, Star Wars....)

I own exactly 4 switch game cartridges. 2 of those I have kept since the beginning (Mario Odyssey and Botw) and the other two are constantly being traded for new games….
I have several digital games too, but those where bought long tome ago, as I realize is a better idea own physical and keep trading them…

@beartown Im had the same experience with LM3… everybody seems to love it but me. Didn’t even finished it, got bored and sold it (that’s the great thing about physical cartridges!)
