No way nintendo is falling again im the same mistakes as the WiiU.
Those images are too similar too the Switch, The box is almost the same... and that tiny tiny number 2 is almost laughable...

Im loving the art... I have been waiting for a 2D Mario game with sprites based original Mario 2D art from the manuals and old ad material for decades now... These 3D models based on it is the next best thing.
I never really liked the new 3D Mario from the last few years, so thin, tall and athletic... Mario Should be chubby and cute!
Hope is as fun and inventive to play as it looks....

Totally agree. It deserves a remake. As you siggest I was thinking about using the Awakenings engine, bit a Zelda with those manula anime graphics would be awesome!

And sure, a Links Adventure remake, with new graphics, but specially addressing its issues, would be awesome… even a new game inspired by it would make me happy.

@HefHughner nah… nice cinematics and all… but still feels like an expansion with a new gimmick. The apparntley quantity bosses is what make me more exited than before.
Dont get me wrong, I ll buy ot the first dayk, as I am pretty confident Nintendo would prove me wrong.
If they have addressed my 3 main complains of BOTW Ill be happy:
-more enemies and variety. More bosses
-some dungeons
-No more artificial boundaries for the open world (as in invisible walls, I hate those!)

@Vapeguy @ch37 Maybe its an exageration... but its obviously the same game engine, tuned up for the new gimmicks.
Most Zelda games are very different between them, they look and feel as a new game. The exception is Ocarina of time and Majora´s Mask, but even then the game play was very, very different. In a game like BOTW which I played (and still play) so many hours, it feels tiresome, almost boring. I bet you can take a screenshot randomly of each game and you couldnt tell them apart.
But... is just my perception, and obviously I can be very wrong, I will still buy the game as soon as it comes up!

Well, I qas not that exited for this game before, but this trailer is an improvement. Sadly it still seems like an big dlc.
I only hope that this time the world more populated by enemies and town people than in the last game. And of course, dungeons…

@Vexx234 You are wrong, or at least in the minority. Most people enjoyed it for what it is, and it was one of the good laughes in the movie. A lovely funny bad song. I bet you didnt even liked the movie, so its understable.

Not a “great” movie, may be not even “good” one, but its one of the movies I enjoyed the most in my life.

Just came from watching it. Its not a great movie…. But I LOVED it, I dont remember enjoying a movie this much for a long while. I couldn’t stop smiling.
If you ever wanted to see a Mario movie, you’ll really enjoy it! If you don't care for Mario… just dont go, its a movie mostly for Mario fans (and their kids).
One of my favorites movies ever. Thats said, again, its not a “great movie” by any means if you are just a casual Mario Kart player.

Its funny how many people cry about Peach being empowered and more capable than the newcomer Mario at first.

@Cia Obviusly there are changes in the map, is the “look” of it, as in art style, colours, music, everything. As many people say, it feels as a very big DLC. And after playing so many hours of BOTW, its so less exiting than a proper new game. Sure, many will enjoy, even myself… but righ now, im not that exited about it… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not really impressed. The fusing and building novelty seems fun, but very un-Zelda.
And the world it self looks exaclty as the last game…
I dont know… not hyped about it….

While I absolute love Zelda, and hate Fortnite... I would say Fortnite is a much more important landmark for video games. Not because its good, but because its reach and success.

Its not easy being a Vegetarian in the mushroom kingdom, many plants have a face: the mushrooms, the fire flower, piranha plants, Pete piranha, etc. even some grassy mountains!
In SMB2´s Subcon land, most of the vegetables have a cute face. So... if you are a vegetarian not because health reasons, but for respect of animals... youll have some trouble getting nutrients in a Mario game.
Anyway, Mario kill Goombas and Koopas just for fun, and he even can happily sacrifice poor Yoshi if the situation calls for it.

Nice, but The big ape’s face needs a redisign… right now it looks more of a Donkey than a Kong.

I still prefer the 2D Mario design (as seen in Manuals and Game covers) than what Nintendo evolved for 3D. A smaller, chubbier, and more cute Mario.
And it seems the movie is taking notes from it.
