Getting covid is not really the problem, dying for it, or getting to sock is.

@Kirgo its a Mario movie, with or without Martinet. The core fans are going to see it, even without the games voice actor. Very few people in the world even know who's Martinet. So the Mario aspect of the movie is already covered. Now you need as many factors possible to draw non fans, and a famous star is one, there are many Pratt fans that are going to watch it because Pratt, not mario.
Its about adding potential public.

Tetris effect really? I found it very meh, played once, finished the solo mode... and thats it.... I love Tetris, but this one is just tetris, again. I suspect that playing it in VR could be awesome, and truly great. But on the Switch is just a pretty Tetris.

@nocdaes I have Lego bricks from the 60's in excellent condition, and played by my daughters. I think few plastic toys have such a long life span as LEGO. Using recycled plastic can lower its quality, and lifespan, contamining even more.

I made the mistake... and I am very disappointed
Its not only the low number of games included... is that N64 games have not aged that well really. Its not the case with most vintage 2D games that are totally enjoyable (at least most of SNES ones). Early 3D games have lots playability problems compared with today standards and the graphics are kind of ugly. Even one of the best games, Mario 64 have very frustrating camera issues. Sure, they are still great Nintendo games... but not at that price.

This is why i miss manuals.
Ill be buying more physical releases if they did came with a manual or maps.

Why are you arguing such a fact? Dr. Mario is world known because the NES and Gameboy cartridges (and later consoles), not because Arcades.... Sure, you may got into the game because arcades, but you are in the minority.

@frogopus Sure, so was Vs. Super Mario bros., but that don't make the game a "Arcade classic". Dr. Mario was a console game first and foremost. The arcade games, both Vs. and Playchoice, where mostly a port. The main release and focus where on the NES and Gameboy.

@RadioHedgeFund the thing about touch controls in some games is having your fingers over the screen, it does not only hide some part pf an already small screen, but can be distracting as hell and pull out of the inmersion.
Some games are better played with physical controls…

I personally think this should have a much higher value that many vintage mint cartridges.
I would love to own that kind of stuff, framed and hanged in a wall

Skyward was the first Zelda Game I never finished. When I played on the wii, it never really clicked with me... I'm tempted to give it another try.

And they didn't even let some countries try it first
I was waiting for it to be released in my country... and it get killed everywhere instead.

Super Mario World is a much better launch game. It stands the test of time much better, is 2D platforming polished.
Mario 64, was great, and maybe even more important in game history as the basis for 3D platformer. But playing it today is not as enjoyable as it was in 1993. (Edit: 1996)
Much better than Sunshine tho.

@SwitchForce lol. Lego is already working with Nintendo. They have plans for future sets, so they dont want to use any fan ideas proposal, no matter how many user votes they had, Lego has the ultimate saying.

Its not that its "expensive"... but in context, it doubles the standart service price... for just a handful of N64 games?
Unless they start giving discounts or free actual switch games with the service its a rip off.

I bever owned a gameboy, so I enjoyed their games years later though emulation...
