Is the Game Boy version as good?....

Until they add a difficulty select Im thinking of stop playing it... it seems is just not for me, as it feels just boring difficult at times, mainly boss fights, platforming is difficult but not that unfair.
I love the art, the story, music... but the game start to bore me because of its difficulty. Hollow Night was more balanced for me.

Loved Silksolng, until a point. It got too difficult, almost Cuphead levels, and I started to get bored with "imppossible" Last Judge battles...

@Monik3r NAH.. While Wonder is a Wonderfull game, I stil think SMB3 is better, had much better surprises, and brought more awe than Wonder did.

I will even doubt before paying $70 for Mario Galaxy 3!

Well, about the stickers... I would Imagine that official Nintendo Tech support will have tons of these cheap stickers to be replaced anytime the console needs repairing...
And using stickers in this case is not really a poor desing choice... its a necessity as you need the thinnest pieces between the magnets and the joycons in order to work as desired...

Well, it could be usefull for, I dont know, travelling? As if the Switch was a portable console?

One good reason for me to buy physical was the physical manual… how I miss them…

Why are people expecting innovation in every console?
Most Nintendo Home Consoles where just upgrades from the one before, not much innovation really. With the exeption of the Wii and the Switch.

Until a new Mario or Zelda, I will stay in this side of the Switch...
If the New Metroid was an Switch 2 exclusive, I would have thinked about it...

Those prices increases are roughtly for 5 years between generation. This is after EIGHT years...
You clearly dont understand (or maybe dont want to) how inflation goes. Its have being 8 years. Prices goes up.
Maybe you are still too young to notice it, but as time passes you can buy less things with the same amount of dollars. Thats inflation... some years have higher inflation than others.
As the Switch 2 is essentially an upgrade of the OG switch with more modern internals, it should cost roughtly "the same", considering inflation that is 400$ aprox. and now, with those new tariffs, prices could be even higher.
Nintendo could always adjust its reveneu model in order to make it cheaper... but 400$ sound more than logical and fair to me.

The Switch had a low power mobile chip... it sell very well at its price... EIGHT YEARS AGO.

After 8 years, or 30% of inflation, that give us about 400%.

SMB2 deserves much more love....

@Poco_Lypso I think for Mario the minifig scale would not be that great, too small. I only can think of Peach Castle, Bowser Castle, and Bowsers Ship...and not many big enough locations to have a lots of sets really...

But, having a "suplemental computing device" inside the console, could be an interesting idea. Nintendo, which I asume have smarter guys than both of us, even have a patent for that idea. Maybe a separate accesory, say a Pro Dock?

Anyway.... the extra fan in the dock idea is not that bad either.

Sure, maybe it will probably just be like the dock from the current console, but it would be nice if it could have an additional chip (and a fan) to enhance its graphical power when the battery consumption is not a problem in TV mode....

Never understood the lack of love for SMB2. Sure its different, sure it may not originally concieved as a Mario game... but it have its DNA in it. The game was lots of fun, original gameplay, lovelly weird ideas, and full of awesome new characters. One of my all time favorites.
Ah, and the ending was one of the best of the NES era.

Please, let the bigger case means a manual booklet inside!!!!!

I prefer Nintendo trying to be a fun "toy" than a serious game machine. (leave that to Sony or Steam).
If its specs lags behind the competition, dont try to look "radical" and "grown up".
I prefer Nintendo when it taps our inner child.
