@Zach777 I would actually say Gen 9 has some of the best designs in ages, its a massive step up over Gen 7 and 8.

I really wish they do something special with these Raids like give them higher shiny chances or increase drop rates of certain items related to the Raid.

@Otoemetry Shocker a game treats Goblins in the way Goblins have been treated in fantasy since their creation. Also its funny how this "anti-semitic" stuff was never an issue or thing until the author came out as transphobic.

@blindsquarel Most of this thread is people justifying, defending and being ok with it. I get it its Nintendo and they can do no wrong and every choice they make is the best one 🙄

It was ok but very padded out with rubbish. Once the GB stuff was announced it got much better but it was a slow first half.

PS5 and Series games have a weak but a justification in that they're more expensive to make, are bigger and doing more expensive things like 4K, 120hz and Ray Tracing. Nintendo don't have this excuse and this is them copying everyone else while still existing 2 gens back from everyone else.

@Greatluigi If you're happy with the N64 stuff then yes it is, there's a fair few games on there now and more still to come.

Good start but i'm sad there's no Pokemon Yellow, Crystal and Emerald. Hopefully they will add those at some point.

@Nancyboy As much as i love visiting PushSquare, PureXbox and NintendoLife all 3 suffer from heavy fanboy attitudes what giving the sites names makes sense but it does lead to a lot of corporate a$$ licking.

@D_Munk I've put a lot of time into this because of Gamepass and yeah its actually a ton of fun. People like it because its relaxing and stress free plus power washing is just fun in general and this game let's you use one minus the drawbacks of a real one.

Just give us a 4K/60FPS remaster for PS5 you cowards.

I have well over 100 hours and still going on Violet and well the performance i barely notice now as i've just got used to it, the last patch sorted out the bugs so really i'm ok with where its at personally.

@Itachi2099 RE4R is one of the most hyped games this year and i'm pretty sure MHR will sell well enough on PS and Xbox, it lacking an physical release doesn't mean much when those interested will just buy it digitally instead.

They should add an increased chance of a shiny appearing too make these events more interesting.

@RubyCarbuncle Well Legends whole point it seems is seeing regions centuries in the past and seeing how they were formed and how the Legendaries and Mythics fully connect to it. Setting Legends 2 in a random new region would kill a massive appeal of the series.

Johto has a rich history and Celebi could easily spice up the game with its powers of time travel.

@nocdaes Here's the thing the N64 controller is awful though so it doesn't really help and yeah the game is a relic of its time, yes it was groundbraking but not long after Half Life happened and not long after that Halo changed everything and those games have aged far far better. Goldeneye is fun for us sure but i think those enjoying it most are those heavy with nostalgia, chances are a new player is not going to like it.

At the time it was ground breaking but now? Its a dated relic, even on Xbox with better controls it feels old and somewhat painful. Its been fun replaying it this morning but its aged like milk sadly. A Perfect Dark style remaster would have done wonders.

So after playing the "Xbox version" it seems like its more or less the Switch emulated version just with slightly better controls and a shoddy resolution increase that just makes it look worse.

Just downloaded it along with the far better Xbox version what's free if you own Rare Replay.

Its going to feel weird jumping back on the Switch version after playing so much of the PS5 version with its locked 4K60fps.

I really wish both Switch and Xbox could just combine their versions with a remaster plus MP online being the only version, sadly as it is Xbox gets a nice remaster but with no online play while Switch gets online but no remaster.

Yeah i knew and discovered it by accident in Silver, don't why i decided to try it on grass but its something i've always been aware off.

Sonic Adventures 3 X Open Zones would be amazing.

Still need to start and finish Three Houses.

Of course its Pokemon. While there's no defending the poor performance and bugs i do really love Violet and the open world really does feel like a massive step forward for the series, in fact i think S/V along with Legends are my favourite PM games since the Gen 2 remakes and the freedom is a massive reason why as well as a deeper connection to the Pokemon, also Gen 9 has Tinkaton so there's that as well.

@ModdedInkling Weaker hardware? The PS4 is way more powerful then the Switch.

Hopefully the Raids see some improvements as they are really glitchy and have a few issues. I don't expect the performance to get better though but at this point i'm so used to how it is i don't really care as i'm more concerned about the Raid stuff being fixed.

@Immovablegamer6669 Dude the Switch was dated on release so nowadays its ancient. The console is 6 years old so yeah its about time we got a new more powerful console.

@Rayquaza2510 A framerate what drops as low as 10 and hovers around the mid teens is a shoddy port.

Its a good game especially the PS5 version so its sad the Switch port is well awful. They should never have ported it and the we really need the next gen Nintendo console as the Switch can't keep up what with shoddy ports like this and others what are too much for the console.

Its stupid how fun the game is, its the ultimate chill out and relax game.

While i'm enjoying the Raids what serve as a nice endgame i do think they need some fixes as they are glitchy as hell and its annoying how the clock is always going down even when animations are happening.

He was right as it looks and runs poorly on Switch, terrible port and HG have done nothing to improve it.

I thought it was a great year what with two PM games, XB3, Bayonetta 3, Kirby and so on.

Way harder then Charizard and it took me ages to finally get a good team of players to beat it, at least like with Charizard its pretty much battle ready and only needs the EV's done.

For those wondering Azumarill is still useful but doesn't wreck like it did with Charizard, a whole team of them will struggle hard.

Of course because she's awesome and has some really funny lore.

@Serpenterror Well it is a Soulslike game.

No Man's Sky? Haha no, i was warm with it at first but the more i've played the more i've seen what a hollow shell it is compared to the other versions. Its a passable port at best and pretty bad at worst.

Did they seriously think Nintendo and TPC were just going to be cool with this?

The soundtrack is fantastic and easily one of the best in the series.

@Otherboard Also the 7 Star raids seem have them at 6 IV's with its HA what is very nice indeed.

Taylor will always be Ash to me, the anime was never the same once her and the original were replaced.

@calbeau You do realise the "gender swapped" heroes are in the comics right? Like She Hulk is older then most of the people who visit this site.
