@Fayte_Liengaurd Rise prior to Sunbreak and World prior to Iceborne are finished games and World had more content. Sunbreak/Iceborne are not finishing the games they're adding and expanding the games hence why their called expansions. Prior to World if you wanted that new content you had buy a whole new game
@StefanN No Man's Sky didn't need fixing it needed content and HG were pumping out new content within months after release. This game released in a godawful state years ago and its only now they plan on fixing it.
@Fayte_Liengaurd Rise prior to Sunbreak has less content then World did prior to Iceborne. Silkbind moves are fun but there's a reason the community hopes they're dropped for the next game as they just make the game too easy.
@Fayte_Liengaurd Except your opinion on World is subjective not a fact and you know what before Sunbreak released World in my opinion was better then Rise, it had more content even before Iceborne, was more challenging and had more depth to its combat.
@Dilly-Mick Snorelax is generally loved due to it serving a noticeable role in Gen 1 and played a big role in the Anime due to Ash catching one, it also has one of the better episodes of the Indigo era. Finally its monster/animal designed PM and those designed are generally really loved over others hence why Gen 1 is so loved as the vast majority of the designs are monster and animal based.
Kanto, Johto and Kalos are my favourites. The last two Gens are pretty mediocre despite some great PM in them, Unova outside of the Legendary/Mythicals has the worst Dex of them all with some god awful PM in it, Sinnoh is pretty solid and its been great seeing them all again in the remakes and Legends and finally Hoenn is really good but i've never loved it outside of the Starters, Absol and Legendary/Mythicals.
After getting so used to 60fps as standard on PS5 it is jarring going back to 30fps, that said its still playable but 60fps is something i hope is more common with the next Nintendo console.
Nintendo better prepare for the massive sh*tstorm if they dare allow this harmful filth on to the Switch. The backlash will be huge as its awful, its worth nothing its done to solve piracy and instead just punishes honest costumers by ruining the games they bought.
One of my favourite games. The story and characters are heartbraking though, those expecting some weird anime style Bayonetta action game will be in for a shock as this game gets very deep with its themes and is pretty depressing at times. Its soundtrack is also godly, its incredible music and again pretty heartbraking in places.
@HeroponRiki They don't stay clear at all, look at the mobile side or stuff like the Pokemon moba. They even go hard on season passes, i mean Xenoblade 3 has day one DLC. Nintendo while not as bad as Sony and MS with this stuff do still do what they do just to a lesser extent what is becoming less lesser as the years go on.
Splatoon and maybe Smash are the only games that could work with the F2P nature. Pokemon in theory could but as shown with Go and the moba game greed would be heavy as well as exploiting the compulsion in people to have them all. Like look at the Victini we just got for free, if Sword and Shield were free to play we would have to pay for it or grind really hard in a short time to unlock it. Pokemon for me can stay full price with an Expansion or two a year later added to it.
@cammers1995 Well blame the Switch for being extremely under powered next to everything else. At this stage in its lifespan and with the likes of PS5 and Series starting to heavily take over you should be grateful the Switch is even getting a port of the game.
@TheMelodiusRose A few years it wasn't that weak but now that the new gen consoles are out then yeah a console that isn't even as strong as the base X1 is weak. I love my Switch and i'm currently playing XB3 as i type this but the console is pretty dated and weak nowadays.
@ItsATM I don't like VN games i find them really boring. I don't fault those that love them though and i'm glad this game exists for those people, more DM games released the better its just the type of game this is doesn't appeal to me. I'm happy sticking with the Cyber Sleuth games if i ever want a gaming DM fix.
@Dragonite89 Might as well ask for ports of the 3DS and DS entries because its just as likely. Don't get me wrong i would love for it to happen but you know its Nintendo and TPC so expect nothing and be surprised if something does happen.
@Browny Misread your comment, didn't realise you were counting the subspecies Monsters. Its worth noting Subspecies are practically different monsters, they look different, have different move sets and all have their own armour and weapons. I mean you don't look at a Snow Leopard and dismiss it as another Leopard right? Subspecies are their own thing. Also worth noting all the base game monsters have been giving new moves, a change in behaviour and are all way more aggressive.
Already put in around 80 hours and i'm not even MR100 yet, easily as big maybe bigger the base game and fixes so many of the base games flaws. Also the Insect Glaive always my weapon is now objectively one of the best weapons due to the buffs and things added to it, the new Kinsects are insane as well.
@wicktus Yeah i've put over 200 hours into MD, made tons of decks, got all the staple cards, bought all the battle passes, bought a ton of cosmetics and i've spent the grand sum of nothing on the game, i'm amazed at how generous the game is and how it never pushes you into spending money on it if you don't want to.
In game purchases can mean anything, Sunbreak for MH is classed as a in game purchase for instance so i wouldn't worry as it could just be a skin pack or something.
A game where you kill Russians right now will just attract too much uproar from some circles sadly, its stupid but it is what it is. At the very least its happening though just not yet.
Gutted, Yugioh has been a big part of my life and its thanks to him. His art is godly, i make sure to nap any card with art on it. I think Magi Magi and his version of Dark Magician are my favs of his plus his version of Slifer.
@Highlar I think base World sold 15M or something by the time Iceborne came out. I doubt Rise will outsell it though it would be awesome if it does as that would mean Capcom's two biggest selling games are MH games.
Its been amazing, playing it all weekend and it fixes many of the issues i had with the base game. Love the new Insect Glaive's with its new game changing Kinsect's, the weapon has really grown in power with the expansion.
@UltimateOtaku91 You read what i put? I said if i had a Switch with P5 back then i could complete it within a month because i could bring the Switch with me to my job and game handheld, my job was basically sitting on my a** all day in an empty house waiting for random people to turn up to look around, it took me 2 hours to get to this location and usually 3 hours back due to traffic, if not for my 3DS i would have gone mad with boredom hence how i could have easily put a lot of hours into P5 if i had the means to play it handheld back then.
Overall? Elden Ring and its not even close, the only game what stands a chance of beating it is GoW Ragnarok if it releases this year. Switch wise its either Pokemon Legends or Kirby though the Sunbreak expansion for MH will most likely be the Switch highlight this year for me.

Re: Mini Review: LEGO Brawls - Disappointly Basic Brick Battles That Stutter On Switch
If you have a Switch you will play Smash and if you have a PS5/Xbox/PC you're playing Multiverses, this game has no chance.

@Fayte_Liengaurd Your talking as this is fact, i don't agree with him but his opinion is no more wrong then yours.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Investigates Switch's Lowest Resolution Games
For me the worst was Xenoblade 2 in handheld, pretty much had to play that docked for 95% of the time.

@durrdevil Except you don't, the only big update was for Sunbreak itself.

No Cherish Ball or anything special about it beyond a line of text saying its from the Anime, shame.

Sounds like a pretty packed update, loving Sunbreak and very happy its support is going to last well into next year.
Re: Talking Point: What Does Your Favourite Pokémon Say About You?
Charizard is my favourite then Lugia as my 2nd fav and then Greninja for 3rd.
I really hope the new Gen will have Gen 6 starters as i'm desperate to have my shiny Greninja in a game, he's been sitting in Home for way too long.

@Sonos Capcom has been on a massive high since RE7 released, its been nothing but quality after quality.

Re: Capcom Reports Incredible Sales For Its Key Franchises
I don't think DD2's release on the Switch is up in the air as its pretty clear its a PS5/Series/PC only game and is years away.
Very happy to see MH get such huge numbers.

Re: No Man's Sky's New Endurance Update Confirmed For The Ever-Expanding Switch Port
@nhSnork File size should be pretty small, i think its under 16gb on PS5 for instance so Switch version should be smaller.
Re: No Man's Sky's New Endurance Update Confirmed For The Ever-Expanding Switch Port
Its going to be interesting to see how the Switch runs it and what they had to cut back to getting working. Even on PS5 its far from stable.
Re: Soapbox: 20 Years Later, Super Mario Sunshine Is Still The Best 3D Mario
