PSA: A New Limited-Time Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Tera Raid Battle Is Now Available

@g_ruz I think it means if you host the Raid. You can also join other raids to fight the ‘Mon from the opposite game.

These are version exclusives right? Wouldn't it be better if they appeared in the version you can't already catch them in?

Wish they'd ease off on the events a bit. When there are only eight of them on the menu at a time and half of them are perpetually taken up by events it makes it a serious pain finding six star raids to grind for Herba Mystica and Ability Patches.

@Lizuka I hear you, but I like that half of the "events" aren't new things, so to speak, which keeps them from being must-haves. So this past weekend was Cinderace (new!) but then the next one is something already in the game, so not quite so pressing, followed by another chance for Cinderace. It looks like a lot but it's (in my opinion) actually a pretty reasonable pace if it's only one new-to-the-game Pokemon a month.

While i'm enjoying the Raids what serve as a nice endgame i do think they need some fixes as they are glitchy as hell and its annoying how the clock is always going down even when animations are happening.

@RubyCarbuncle They really don't relate at all? The raid events require no effort on their part past toggling what the settings for the raid are, that's why they kept doing them well past when SwSh was getting any support otherwise. They wouldn't have any impact on delaying patching the game.

I tried a couple of times but I've never seen anyone actually joining my raid battles (there were no special mon so maybe that was the reason). Trying to evolve a dolphin is hard.

Nintendo and Gamefreak sure are quiet when it comes to patching the game considering their acknowledgement of the issues last month.

@Rob3008 I bought the game after the last patch and sincerely I've only had one time where the game crashed and had to be reset. Nothing critical due to autosave. No mayor glitches nor critical problems to be honest.
My complain with Gamefreak as always is that the main story difficulty is not even for children, it is painfully easy for a jrpg, and skipping gyms to make it harder just makes the rest of the gyms/challenges even easier afterwards.
Other than that the game is playable

@Controller-Drift I've played the game to Pokedex completion and had a lot of fun with Violet, but there's no denying it still needs a serious amount of polish. The framerate drops and stutters are embarrassing.

would be fun if the whole tera raid gameplay was redone.. it is just so slow and glitchy and way too many blingly animations that just make it worse..

Also, the whole gimmick of tera mode is moot when the only real way to get these is to coordinate a one shot that skips the shield and needing of using tera at all.. since trying to use tera showcases how clunky and terrible the design is and also is way harder to do any damage against shields

I barely have time to play and I miss everything lol

Hopefully by the time I’ll continue the game, they will fix some of the performance issues and bugs

This game just keeps on giving, can't wait till Nintendo's end of year financials to see how many it's sold.

I'm not touching my copy again until they fix the frame rate issues, glad stuff is coming out but it does ruin the experience when the game gliches are so rampant and the FPS drops to 15.

I don't care about raids, I just keep replaying the expression matching gym challenge over and over again, going for a high score. Best part of the whole game.
