Re: Poll: What's Your Game Plan For Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?

WallyWest

Don't really have a plan. I'm certainly not focusing on the story though for a while, i've got as far as getting the Paraglider and now i'm just exploring, doing side quests and seeing what i come across. This isn't a game i plan on rushing and like BotW i expect i will be playing this for years even after the credits roll.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

@andisart Except when it boils down to it if a reviewer thinks the new Zelda game is a 6/10 to them then its 6/10 to them. Critics opinions are just as random as yours or mine its just unlike you or me they pursued a career in it and should have the skills to put together a well written review unlike the average person on MC. Roger Ebert had takes that went against the grain so should we ignore his opinion because he dared to not share the opinion of everyone else? A pro critic just does it as their chosen profession and have built the up skills to explain their views in a way that should provide more value then the average joe.

@Cheez Dude most big films have 100's of reviews so chances are there will be outliers that have a very weird take. The vast majority are not like that though. I mean come on its like saying this Strawberry field is bad because they are known for really bad Strawberries and then using the only 3 bad ones you found out of the 100's of them as evidence. Yeah RT and Metacritic typically have 2 or 3 reviews that either have a weird take or go against the grain, Star Wars is getting rave reviews today by pretty much everyone but i'm sure there's that one site or Youtuber that rips it apart for dumb reasons because yeah sh#t happens.
