@Anti-Matter This is a pretty normal process after a big update. The game is massive with endless moving parts so naturally when they release a big update that adds tons of new things and changes many things its going to also break stuff that needs patching, HG are extremely quick though with patches and fixing the issues and listening to feedback.
Based on that small glimpse i think TotK might be my favourite, always loved the BotW art design with Link and Zelda's designs also being my favourites of the series so it makes its version of Ganondorf would also be top for me.
@solarwolf07 Miracle? NMS on Switch looks bad and is heavily compromised. Its missing a fair few features even stuff as simple as capes and overall just looks very ugly. The game should have never been put on Switch as all its done is give Switch owners a lackluster port with less features and has limited what HG can do for future updates.
The latest COD games are pushing last gen consoles hard and by the time the Switch versions could happen the games will be going even harder. Sure it could run CoD just like it can run Hogwarts apparently but i expect like with Hogwarts it will look bad, perform bad and be a mess.
End of the day the Switch was old when it released and now its just ancient. The system just isn't ideal for anything new that isn't a small indie or 1st party.
@HotGoomba I do wonder if a Smash film could ever happen. Clearly it would focus on Nintendo IP's and maybe Sonic at a push but i can't help but wonder if it will be discussed if Mario does well.
@Jop Switch has seen Lets Go, Sword/Shield, BD/SP remasters, Legends, Violet/Scarlett and two awful F2P games, that's a lot of Pokemon games. As for GTA well yeah you kill like you do in most games including Nintendo games, as for torture well only one GTA game featured that for one mission and finally do you have numbers on the age group that plays it? You will find 18+ are the majority of players and we have been playing GTA for well over 20 years now.
@Jop GT? The PS4 saw GT Sport as its main GT and the PS5 has GT7 (that also got a PS4 port). GT see's 1 or 2 max entries per gen, the Switch has seen more Pokemon games then the PS3, PS4 and PS5 combined has seen GT games. GTA aimed at 5 year olds? Yeah because Animal Crossing, Mario and Pokemon are aimed at big boys right? 😂 Funny you say its all the same on PS when last and current gen saw Horizon, Days Gone, Death Stranding, Bloodborne, Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel's Spider-Man, Dreams, Returnal, The Last Guardian, Knack (though it sucked) and a big push into VR as new IP's for PS. Your logic is broken and you just seem like a Nintendo fanboy upset that people have valid concerns over the new Zelda game.
The issue i have is the map. Sure exploring the skies is cool and i'm sure that side has its many secrets but the rest of the map going by trailers is just the same Hyrule we explored to death in BotW, exploring Hyrule in BotW was new and exciting as we never explored it like that before but now? I'm just going over the same stuff again. I will say this though if the leaks turn out true then there's a huge massive new area in the game what could really shake up the map, i won't say what as i think Nintendo if its true want to keep it a surprise so here's hoping.
@LikelySatan Yeah because the bug fixing team is also in charge of the various events already baked into the system and don't need anyone to manage as its all on a timer.
@Tempestryke Clearly missing my point. If DLC was a thing in the 90's then "Ultimate" would have been DLC to MK3 but as DLC wasn't a thing you were forced to buy a "new" game to get the new content. The specifics have changed but paying for new characters post launch was always a thing its just its easier now and doesn't require buying a Ultimate or Super version.
@daveMcFlave I thought the first hour or two was pretty scary but once the typical RE gameplay kicked in i found it became more tense and scary. Personally though i found that one section in Village (if you played it you know the bit) more scary then anything RE7 offered.
@nimnio Most people? The playerbase is huge and no the game is not the same as it always was. I think you're confusing your subjective view for an objective view and are speaking too much for everyone else.
There's no way in hell a game like the new MW2 is running on Switch or even something like Warzone. Phil is just BS as always, CoD is on the verge of becoming current gen only so unless he's aware of a next gen Switch 2 i doubt the Switch will be getting the newer games.
@Euler The Switch gets 3rd party support still sure but not as much as it was and as time goes on the support what isn't small Indies will decrease. Hogwarts will no doubt run and look like rubbish, RE4 Remake will be lucky to get a cloud port, Dead Space Remake is current gen only, the new Star Wars game is current gen only, Diablo 4 doesn't appear to be coming to Switch. In fact outside of Hogwarts what is coming to Switch this year that isn't 1st party, Indie and not AAA?
@Euler Still need 3rd party to keep the train going, 3rd party support has played a big role in the Switch's success. Yeah you're right publishers may want to put the new big releases on Switch so get used to more Cloud games. 2024 or at push early 2025 is when the new console drops.
As for Hogwarts well everyone playing ut is currently wondering how the hell base PS4 and X1 are going to run it as its demanding for current gen. The Switch port will be a mess and i wouldn't be shocked if they cancel it or make it cloud only.
@Giancarlothomaz 2026? Haha no chance, the Switch can barely keep up now as at is especially as current gen is now finally becoming the norm. Those 3rd party ports are going to stop hard and Hogwarts is going to show why we need a successor to the Switch. 2024 is my bet for new hardware with maybe the Switch acting like a PS4 to the "Switch 2"s PS5 for a year or two before Nintendo moves on fully to the new console.
@NinjaNicky I mean MK3 forced you to buy MK3 Ultimate for Scorpion. People forget DLC characters for fighters has been a thing since the start its just instead of DLC you had to buy another version of the game to get the new characters.
@ncb1397 Funny enough i think CoD was and maybe Halo 4(?). Prime looks great and its easily one of the best looking Switch games but it ain't touching last gen or current gen games, i mean Killzone was a PS4 launch title and thats leagues ahead of what the Switch is doing.
Look i'm not meaning to nag on Prime i was just pointing out to the other guy that its just to expect the new CoD games to run on Switch just because it can run a pretty good remaster of a Gamecube game. The newer CoD games are pushing last gen consoles hard so the Switch stands no chance.
N64 as having never grew up with one its been a good way to play some of its hits. I expect once Pokemon gets added to GB and GBA then they will dominate over everything.
@Baler So you're saying it looks as good as remasters of OG Xbox and Xbox 360 games then. Prime looks good on Switch but its very much rooted in the Gamecube era with the type of visuals seen in high end 360 games. So yeah it looks great for a Switch game but compared to current gen games well it looks like a Switch game.
Won't happen but as a big Yugioh fan i would love to see Yugioh The Scared Cards added, while it played very loosely with the actual card game rules it did nicely adapt the Battle City arc of the show and in its easily the best Yugioh game on the GBA in my opinion.

@Cheez Wait reviews are opinions based on how the critic felt about the product they watched? Who would have guessed.

Re: New Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Digital Event Is Coming Our Way Next Week
@Sarkos MH6 is no doubt going to be PS5, Series S/X and PC only. It will most likely be a World style leap for the series i expect.
Re: Aliens: Fireteam Elite Is Coming To Switch, But It's A Cloud Version
Its a really good game and being frank i see no reason why it couldn't off got a native port, its not demanding at all and doesn't even push the PS4.

@SonOfDracula Yet the fanbase has largely agreed it has the best designs in ages with many already becoming iconic.

DLC for S&V, Home support and the GB/GBA games added is all i want, give me that and i'm happy.
