Re: Review: Nintendo Switch 2 Carry Case - The Official Option Is A Solid One

ToniK

This was the only option in the store when I bought the console so I went with this. It's a quality product and the zipper is especially nice and smooth. I like things simple so I have no complaints.

edit. the screen protector is not the best and I will probably replace that in the future but for now it's doing its job

Re: Review: NYXI Hyperion 2 - Are These Really "The Ultimate Replacement" For Your Switch Joy-Con?

ToniK

Would have bought these two years ago. Or even some months ago but not anymore. It's suprisingly hard to find replacements that actually have all the necessary features.

Split Pad Pro is great but no gyro. I also bought Steelplay Twin Pads but those have the gyro working in weird steering wheel style which doesn't really work in fps games. Weird decision.

All in all, I'm already fully entered the Switch 2 train to hypeville so no new accessories for the OG.

Re: Acclaimed Horror Hit 'Soma' Is Finally Coming To Switch

Great news, although I have played all of them before. I never finished Bunker for some reason so I'm gonna do that on Switch, my horror platform of choice.

SOMA is pretty amazing for fans of creepy sci-fi and Bunker is the second best of the series, almost topping the first one.

@CJD87 My memory is a bit hazy but if I remember correctly it was Our Lady of the Charred Visage that I suffered with a lot while Tres Angustias only took one try.

Sometimes it's just a matter of good days and bad days and other factors too. It's still very interesting how people have such different experiences with stuff like that. It must have something to do with the fact that the whole game is pretty tough so there is not much of linear rise in the difficulty.

@CJD87 Yeah, they made the last boss quite a bit harder. Took some effort for sure but I defeated it quite confidently after a couple of tries. I read people's experiences with the game and it seems some bosses were hard for others and easy for some. One mid-tier boss I defeated first try while one made me almost give up completely. Great game all in all if not a bit punishing.

Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom "Hands On" Performance & Resolution Detailed

Yeah, Nintendo's hardware can hardly run their first party games. I think they will and should address this issue in the future. It's quite shocking to see relatively simple looking games with frame rate dips, like Link's Awakening when you enter a busy screen.

I'm not saying they should enter the race for the most powerful console but they should find the balance. If and when they have increasingly ambitious games then the hardware should match. 🤷🏻
