Alien franchise has such a poor track record when it comes to games. Sure, Isolation is one of the best games ever made, but the rest seem to be mostly sub-par. I'm a huge fan so it kinda breaks my heart.

I really hope Isolation 2 is a success. The first one has a huge fanbase.

Still not sure if I'll get the game but always happy to see 40 fps as an option, if 60 really is out of reach.

I played Diablo on PC somewhere around the turn of the millenium and also liked D2 much later on Switch. The whole franchise transformed into something else with Diablo 3 though. It was okay but so very easy on normal difficulty. Couldn't bother with the game after completing it once.

I can finally play RE4 remake on the console of choice. This is good.

So it's an online co-op and you need two consoles?

I loved the first one. Hopefully the sequel will include gyro controls.

I kinda love stuff like this. It shows gaming isn't as serious as some like to think. "The herbalist" sounds like Snoop alright.

I'm not a CoD type of gamer but I'll probably check this out out of curiosity. I wanna see how it looks and runs.

Tallon Overworld synth is forever printed on my brain. It's probably my favorite game theme ever. So atmospheric.

I really liked Prime 4 but I'm not sure if it's a game I will ever replay. Missing one scan on my initial playtrough is annoying but not nearly enough to try again. Otherwise I pretty much saw everything the game has to offer. And I liked everything, even the desert and the bike. It's baffling why they didn't add a couple of oasis' and maybe bodies of water or something but it was cool. I think people will be more forgiving towards the game in the future but the game was a let-down for many and I can understand that, even if I personally don't fully agree with them.

Was the jungle background too much for Europe or something? Sometimes I just can't understand the decisions they make.

Fallout 4. I never got to play the DLCs so I have lots of new stuff to experience. The game is still fun and I can't stop playing it and my backlog just keeps getting bigger and bigger 😭

I've bought Alien Isolation 3 times and finished it on 3 different consoles. I just want more of the same to be honest.

Sounds like something alright! If it's a new game it's definitely 2D/2.5D. Unless they secretly worked on two Prime titles which I find highly unlikely.

Dread was beautiful on Switch 1 and something like that on S2 would look unbelievable.

RE9 but nice to see Fatal Frame having some support. It was pretty great but not nearly as fluid as Requiem.

I got two extra months just a week or so ago. I wonder if it was only in Europe or even something more specific 🤔

I thought first-person was a weird choice for this game but it wasn't the case after all. I enjoy RE in both, not a big deal.

XCX leaned more into sci-fi while the main series is somewhere between fantasy and sci-fi. This looks like it's going the fantasy route. We'll see. I don't even know how they could ever top XC3.

I never played this one but loved Thief 2 very much. Took me ages to finish since I wanted to be a complete ghost and do everything perfectly. The only game that has made me feel the same was Dishonored.

I'm really excited about both the Star Trek game and Cronos DLC. Star Trek horror sounds like a great idea. I remember being scared of the Borg as a kid.

I just learnt the game doesn't have gyro through these comments. I thought it had, for some reason. I'll buy it when it has.

I hope they go for 40 fps, at least as an option. It's way smoother than 30 and doesn't usually hurt the visuals too much.

Cosmic horror about a Nazi expedition seen through the eyes of different sized penguins is one of those ideas you get just before you fall asleep, but sign me up!

I recently replayed this and it's honestly one of the best Zeldas. And great soundtrack too!

I've seen "silent years" before. If it happens I just play through my backlog and check out all the great indie releases.

Great news! Every fps should have gyro controls. It's just so accurate when done right and I also find it more immersive.

I really like the new ones. The oldest designs were probably due to limited hardware anyways. The realistic puppets were always there and now the hardware can support that aspect.

This doesn't concern me but I gotta admit it's an awesome idea!

I just bought the 3DS semi-remake and played it a lot. Otherwise I would have been more excited about this. Now it feels a bit 'meh'.

I don't mind, I just hope it will eventually arrive and in nice condition too. The game is on my radar but not a day-one purchase. Still have plenty of already released games I want before this.

Not many games but still an interesting month. I'll get several of these eventually.

The first bit almost seemed like they took the RE7 route but the rest doesn't really scream Resident Evil. I'm pretty sure it'll be a good movie but not sure about the RE label.

The original trilogy was part of my childhood and I love it to bits. Crystal Skull was fine but didn't age too well. Also, my cat is called Indiana so I'm bit of a fan. So good to hear the game is a decent port. MachineGames usually means quality.

I've been enjoying the game quite a bit on Switch 2. Trying to compile the perfect build is kinda addicting.

It's one of my favorite franchises so I'll give it a shot. The price is not bad, and it's actually longer than I thought. Most VR games I've played have been 3-4 hour "experiences" .

@Dr_Wright I remember how my father needed to take our PC to a store and add some RAM just so we could play Grand Prix 2. My father also insisted the guy in the cover was Tom Cruise with a helmet on 😂 It was still choppy as ever but I enjoyed the game. Never really thought about framerates back then.

They're really going all-in with this game. I guess they trust it'll make the money back so it must be good, right?

I haven't seen the series apart from just a couple of episodes but I think I'll get this.

@invictus4000 That would be funny 😁 I had all the Cing games back in the day on DS but unfortunately I sold them to buy more games. Now they're really expensive and hard to get where I live.

I'm trying not to buy this yet. Last time I did, back on Wii U, the game consumed my life 😅 Honestly one of the best gaming experiences I've had and I've had a few.

My PC is roughly as powerful as Switch 2 and I did not have a pleasant experience at all with this game. I'm not sure how they could make it work.

A new sci-fi IP from Capcom? Of course I'm gonna get it. I just have some other games I need to either finish or purchase first. RE Requiem to name one.
