XCX leaned more into sci-fi while the main series is somewhere between fantasy and sci-fi. This looks like it's going the fantasy route. We'll see. I don't even know how they could ever top XC3.
I never played this one but loved Thief 2 very much. Took me ages to finish since I wanted to be a complete ghost and do everything perfectly. The only game that has made me feel the same was Dishonored.
I'm really excited about both the Star Trek game and Cronos DLC. Star Trek horror sounds like a great idea. I remember being scared of the Borg as a kid.
Cosmic horror about a Nazi expedition seen through the eyes of different sized penguins is one of those ideas you get just before you fall asleep, but sign me up!
I really like the new ones. The oldest designs were probably due to limited hardware anyways. The realistic puppets were always there and now the hardware can support that aspect.
I don't mind, I just hope it will eventually arrive and in nice condition too. The game is on my radar but not a day-one purchase. Still have plenty of already released games I want before this.
The first bit almost seemed like they took the RE7 route but the rest doesn't really scream Resident Evil. I'm pretty sure it'll be a good movie but not sure about the RE label.
The original trilogy was part of my childhood and I love it to bits. Crystal Skull was fine but didn't age too well. Also, my cat is called Indiana so I'm bit of a fan. So good to hear the game is a decent port. MachineGames usually means quality.
It's one of my favorite franchises so I'll give it a shot. The price is not bad, and it's actually longer than I thought. Most VR games I've played have been 3-4 hour "experiences" .
@Dr_Wright I remember how my father needed to take our PC to a store and add some RAM just so we could play Grand Prix 2. My father also insisted the guy in the cover was Tom Cruise with a helmet on 😂 It was still choppy as ever but I enjoyed the game. Never really thought about framerates back then.
@invictus4000 That would be funny 😁 I had all the Cing games back in the day on DS but unfortunately I sold them to buy more games. Now they're really expensive and hard to get where I live.
I'm trying not to buy this yet. Last time I did, back on Wii U, the game consumed my life 😅 Honestly one of the best gaming experiences I've had and I've had a few.
A new sci-fi IP from Capcom? Of course I'm gonna get it. I just have some other games I need to either finish or purchase first. RE Requiem to name one.
I'm spending my weekend photographing ghosts. Some of them aren't that nice.
Yeah, Fatal Frame 2 remake it is. Seems a lot tougher than some of the other games in the series but I'm loving it. Watched "Ringu" yesterday too. Haven't seen that in a long time. "Shutter" would actually suit the theme even better. The original is a masterpiece in Asian horror.
These kind of movies are not the ones I want to spend a huge amount of money on. I mean I like Mario as much as the next guy but Dune 3 will probably be the next movie I want to see on the silver screen.
Going to movies have become so awfully expensive here in Finland that I rarely go anymore.
I like the kimono outfits, I guess pre-order bonus or something, but they don't show in cutscenes which feels distracting. There's even an option in the settings for this but it doesn't let me change it.
I'd really like Silent Hill f to arrive on Switch 2 and Silent Hill 2 remake too.
The people who wanted it right away bought it right away. I've been totally happy with my purchase but in all honesty I can't really fully recommend S2 at this point, unless you skipped Switch 1. Then there's an ocean of great games but the S2 exclusive selection is still very slim and no news about Zelda or main series Mario.
I've accidentally pressed the button a couple of times but I'll probably never need this feature. I've subscribed to NSO for years though and enjoy the retro games. It's not even expensive at all if you do it right.
One little friend of mine is all about Lego City Undercover on Wii U so I got it on Switch 2 a while back to be able to play with him when I pay them a visit. The bigger display of S2 made the lower resolution look less than desirable but it looks really good now. Also checked Alien Isolation but the game already looked awesome so it's hard to tell, but I'm sure it's somewhat crispier now. Fatal Frame 5 looks pretty good too.
A VERY welcome update! I basically want to replay all my S1 games now.
I never played docked on Switch 1 and I still play plenty of S1 games on Switch 2 so this could be huge. Why they shadowdrop things like this is beyond me 😯

Re: PSA: Switch Online + Expansion Pack Limited-Time Offer Adds Free Bonus Month For 12-Month Memberships (US)
I got two extra months just a week or so ago. I wonder if it was only in Europe or even something more specific 🤔
Re: Resident Evil Veronica Won't Let You Swap Between First And Third-Person
I thought first-person was a weird choice for this game but it wasn't the case after all. I enjoy RE in both, not a big deal.
Re: Xenoblade Genesis Announced For Switch 2, Launching 2027

Re: Mouse: P.I. For Hire Is Getting Performance And Optimisation Improvements On Switch 2
I just learnt the game doesn't have gyro through these comments. I thought it had, for some reason. I'll buy it when it has.
Re: "It's Actually Been Pretty Smooth" - Infinity Ward On Getting Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Running On Switch 2
I hope they go for 40 fps, at least as an option. It's way smoother than 30 and doesn't usually hurt the visuals too much.
Re: Japanese Charts: Switch 2 Sneaks In Some Huge Numbers Ahead Of The Price Rise
Crazy numbers once again. S2 will surpass all the PS5 models combined pretty soon I'd think.

I've seen "silent years" before. If it happens I just play through my backlog and check out all the great indie releases.
Re: ICYMI: Indiana Jones On Switch 2 Will Support Mouse & Gyro Controls
Great news! Every fps should have gyro controls. It's just so accurate when done right and I also find it more immersive.
Re: Talking Point: Star Fox Old Vs. New Designs Compared - Which Do You Prefer?
I really like the new ones. The oldest designs were probably due to limited hardware anyways. The realistic puppets were always there and now the hardware can support that aspect.

This doesn't concern me but I gotta admit it's an awesome idea!
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Star Fox For Switch 2?
I just bought the 3DS semi-remake and played it a lot. Otherwise I would have been more excited about this. Now it feels a bit 'meh'.

Re: Surprise! Alien: Rogue Incursion Has Shadow-Dropped On Switch 2
@Kiz3000 Yeah, it was the app. Found it on the console itself.

Can't find it on eShop yet but definitely interested.

They're really going all-in with this game. I guess they trust it'll make the money back so it must be good, right?

Re: Switch 2 Rating For Bethesda's Newest IP Appears Online
My PC is roughly as powerful as Switch 2 and I did not have a pleasant experience at all with this game. I'm not sure how they could make it work.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Pragmata For Switch 2?
A new sci-fi IP from Capcom? Of course I'm gonna get it. I just have some other games I need to either finish or purchase first. RE Requiem to name one.

I saw this before and was wondering why handheld quality mode is 1260 when the screen is full hd.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's NES Library With Three More Games
I wish they'd add Kabuki Quantum Fighter. That one was one of my favorites on NES. Very similar to the awesome Batman The Videogame.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (4th April)
Re: PSA: System Shock Remake Gets A Switch 2 Demo
Gonna get this eventually regardless, but I'll download the demo while I finish all the games I'm currently playing. It's good to get all these demos.

Rebirth was okay but I liked Bunker more. I have it on PC but I'd like it on Switch 2. I think they announced both like ages ago.
Re: Nintendo's Apparently Cutting US Switch 2 Output After Lower Than Expected Holiday Sales

Re: Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake Receives A New Patch On Switch 2 This Week
I did find it weird that almost every enemy felt like a boss fight. The ghosts also get aggravated all the time.
Re: Community: Which Switch 1 Games Benefit Most From Switch 2's New Boost Mode?
One little friend of mine is all about Lego City Undercover on Wii U so I got it on Switch 2 a while back to be able to play with him when I pay them a visit. The bigger display of S2 made the lower resolution look less than desirable but it looks really good now. Also checked Alien Isolation but the game already looked awesome so it's hard to tell, but I'm sure it's somewhat crispier now. Fatal Frame 5 looks pretty good too.
A VERY welcome update! I basically want to replay all my S1 games now.
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 System Update 22.0.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
