I pre-ordered mine from Discshop. It still has a place-holder price which is pretty high but I really hope I actually get the thing. There are multiple ways to play most of these games but I really want this piece of gaming history

The price is tempting. I'll probably take it.

I'd buy it if it's reasonably priced. DS2 was probably the only game I've played with screen tearing so bad it actually injured the overall experience. Hope it's not that all over again.

I honestly think many developers sincerely mean these words but but... It's the architecture and install base thing all over again. I hope for the best but we'll see.

I kinda liked the first one. More than any recent GTA to be honest. Sure it was rough around the edges but it was an ok entry and I'm sort of looking forward to the next one on some platform.

That is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen If that actually worked on SNES I would pay big bucks for it but no. It's Wii U or nothing so we'll see.

I have the original cartridge. Used to play this a lot, breaking all those records and stuff! Great game IMO.

I only saw the dubbed version of DuckTales when I was a child but I enjoyed his work on DT Remastered. Rest in peace, mister. Quite the journey you had.

This will be a waste of money but I'm not sure if I can resist buying at least some. I like to look at things like game or album covers and cards would be the same thing. And it's Zelda.

Thanks to those humble friends I FINALLY got to try this series out and I'm really loving it now. Shantae is a great character and the overall game design is awesome. I thought it would be just a standard sidescroller but fortunately I wasn't completely right on that one.

To me personally a christmas launch is not necessary. I will buy the console for myself and to be honest march is just fine. The good thing is that after the whole Wii U thing I'm still interested about their new product. I just want to see it first and be confident about there being enough games. Not necessarily third party but games generally. I've been happy about the amount of cool indie games on Wii U and that is something I'd like to see on NX as well.

That NXt generation Project Zero though...

I haven't downloaded SteamWorld Heist yet but I'm usually quite late on these things since I always have games to play and/or some things to do. I loved SteamWorld Dig for both its gameplay AND visuals (big up to the graphics department) and will no doubt enjoy this new game as well. Well done Image&Form. Hope you guys can survive in the game (not sure if pun intended) and develop more games for us to enjoy.

That's so close to being tacky but manages to be awesome instead. Not that interested in the console though. @FX102A At least my european (SCN) model has a red one.

I'd rather see guys with talent make original content. This is cool and all but seems like a waste of time and energy in the end.

I'm a fan of the gamepad and also a fan of these voting thingies.

My physical copy of Tropical Freeze arrived today. It's so entertaining I can't believe it. I'd say it's better than Lego City. So Wind Waker and Donkey are the best from this bunch to me. We still need 3D world as a Selects title and I'm good.

There's no way I'm gonna pay full price for this but I'll keep my mind open and see where this goes.

I really liked the demo from last year. Colourful, smooth and really made me smile for no apparent reason. I'm getting it for sure if the price isn't awful.

I'm not overly excited but I'm definitely going to download and keep it in my phone. Nice to see Finland included, thanks! (Edit. Um, actually it's not included in the app list. Not sure how this goes then)

I have the second one on blu-ray and it's decent. I've seen the first one as well and I guess it wasn't too bad either. Not masterpieces but worth watching if you really like RE saga.

Great aesthetics but I'm not a fan of choppy animation and if this is as retro as it looks there will be lots of that. With smooth modern animation, I'm sold!

@Siskan Yeah, unfortunately these kind of games have a small audience. But yeah, both games were just amazing. The atmosphere was so great with very minimal aesthetics. Almost like art.
Edit. Another memory was great as well. Especially the Wii one.

Oh. My. God. I thought the series was dead for good. That's definitely Kyle Hyde, no matter what anyone says! I'm so happy about this. Western release is a matter of time.
@Late Do yourself a favour and get them. They're not very game-like but absolutely phenomenal as they are.

I was really looking forward to Mario 3D World but I'll take Tropical Freeze. Wind waker is a great addition but I already have it.

The copycat mentality is just lame. Five night at Freddy's wasn't that great to begin with and these clones seem to get even worse. I'm in for good horror but these cheap-scare games are just not horror at all.

Looks decent alright. If the price is right I'll check it out. And about the comments the guy made... So many juvenile people in the business and he's probably one of them. Watch your tongue in the future and it's all good though. Killing is bad, mmmm-k?

@JohnG Words of wisdom. I have also complained about the prices so many times and will continue to do so until the prices are reasonable. I would like to have a collection of retro games on my Wii U but 10 SNES games 80 euros? No thanks. 10 NES games 50 euros? No thanks. I can get physical copies of contemporary games for a cheaper price.

@oats-81 Probes are quite easy to figure out once you get it but you shouldn't worry about it yet. You can prioritize them later. Have fun with the game and don't worry about stuff. It's a journey, really

Cool. I'm close to 100-percenting XCX so I could slowly start to conform to life as usual with some new games.

I was about 12 and to me "3D" was like Doom and stuff like that. My friends got a brand new N64 and the blurry graphics on CRT was the stuff! Had fun with Star Fox and Forsaken (!). Oh the days. But yeah, I enjoy contemporary games but will always remember the roots.

@wazlon I personally enjoyed it more on 3DS, even without circle pad pro. It looks better on small screen and the Wii U version has minor problems with the controls (dead zone, silly strafe movement). Both versions are good though.

Chasing dead actually happened! Wow. I hope it's good and runs well. Not too many fps' on Wii U.

Yeah, I'm not going to do anything right now. NNID can't be used because I've set the country setting to Finland and if I make an account for, let's say UK, I probably can't link my NNID in the future because the country settings are in conflict. Sigh. Nordic countries do exist, you know, NINTENDO!

I would think PS4 gets a price cut and/or new model before christmas and will sell an unbelievable amount of systems. Even without price cuts any new console will be left in the dark this christmas. Sony is strong right now. Even without interesting games.

When these hit europe I'll finally get 3D World and probably some DK action as well. So make it happen Nintendo!

@readyletsgo The first one was like 8-bit GTA with tongue-in-cheek humour. This seems to continue that but with "updated" 16-bit graphics

Used to play a board game version of this. I think it was a more accessible thing for people with no role-playing experience but it was really fun. I would like to re-live those moments on screen but that hefty price tag though...

That hamster looks cute though. I'm old enough to remember the first wave of Tamagotchi so stuff like this is not that bad

Still haven't played a Shantae game but I'm hearing good things and have liked other WayForward games a lot.

Whatever NX is and whenever it's going to be released, I'm probably gonna wait till the end of its lifespan. Unless indies start making awesome exclusive games for it. Nintendo obviously can't maintain a steady stream of must-have titles. Good stuff but not enough.

I gave this game enough chances but couldn't finish it. It just annoyed me like there's no tomorrow. Even when I finally learnt the controls and the gameplay became smooth it didn't do anything for me. Obviously a hidden gem to some but a miss to me. I hope I picked another game as my MK8 freebie.

I still get disconnected every single time I play but I don't know if that's something that can be cured. 118 hours in and no plans to stop playing. There are still some obvious goals I have yet to accomplish and I don't want to read any walkthroughs.

Some of those are really bad and some just look outdated. I think the very last one is my favorite.
