@BrintaPap that’s quite the combo to pull off! 😜 and the speed of the Boulder makes it possible to avoid, and the ground attack is useless if I’m in the air. I feel they all have their positives though for sure, and your strategy is a good one! But nothing seems “unstoppable” or gravely unbalanced.
The one thing that annoys me is the “tracking” passive skill... it needs to last longer even at level1.
This game is GREAT FUN. I do not enjoy fortnite due to the building component. This eliminates that and focuses on gameplay. The comment about elements being too unbalanced is incorrect, they each have their benefits. To be specific, having wind as one of your two gauntlets is great for finishing off someone. I like to use frost to snipe people for massive damage then as they try to run away fire multiple wind blasts to hunt them down.
If you are even remotely interested in trying this out, I highly recommend it.
8.5/10 for me.
Hoping for more cosmetic options to keep the game looking unique with different character models, and the battlefield looking diverse.
Looks horrible to me. No interest at all. Ubisoft is really taking easy ways out with their games of late. Nothing unique or outstanding. Just bring a multiplayer enabled splinter cell remaster to switch. Pandora Tomorrow or something like that. Those old 2:2 matches were great.
@Garo agreed. I got Pan Pan during some sale for $1 or something like that and it’s a very fun game! Really tried not to look for hints but some puzzles are quite hard!!!!
@Grandiajet the game is good! It’s got a steep learning curve but once you understand the mechanics and how to play it’s quite fun! Only problem for me was not enough outfits to change into, which made many players look the same.. but that’s a small issue. The second season’s rewards are also a bit weak compared to the first so I didn’t buy in. But after paying $2 for the special which got me coins to play the first season, I have more than enough to play another season, so the value is good! Try it out for sure
Looks pretty blah to me. Nothing here to make me bite. If you’re gonna go for the BOTW crowd, you gotta bring something pretty unique to the table. Not seeing it here.
@Menchi all I want (and would pay for) is the cartridge, to be honest. $20? And that’s pushing it - considering how few bricks it is... If MAYBE pay for the NES system, but I’m in no way buying that stupid TV, which accounts for half the pieces in the set and thus DOUBLED the cost of the set. It’s a shame.
If LEGO had sold the set alone and then sold cartridges separately, I’d have given them a few pay checks....
@LEGEND_MARIOID they already butchered the whole “switch” name with the Lite, which doesn’t Switch into anything (except maybe a doorstop). It also doesn’t make the patented “click” sound when you attach joycons, which is what EVERY VIDEO STARTS WITH... which absolutely baffles me. They are starting to make some real bad choices which I’m not happy about... The whole Mario 35 direct was horrible, as so much of it is for 2021... way too far out IMHO.
Maybe work on making some actual new games??? Nobody cares about another Switch version that will divide your user base and potentially discourage third party game makers from releasing games to a segmented market.
Love this game. Happy I got my physical copy. Always fun to play! Glad I unlocked everyone before these updates though, as the game looks to have increased in difficulty (?).
Hope they add more characters or levels at some point.
For people that complain, I feel they really didn’t try that long. You get a few VS courses that suck, or are ridiculously tough, but 90% are pretty darn good with 10% just being amazing! I still come back to this game every few months to see what’s going on and love it. I would highly suggest any switch owner to pick this up as long as you have NSO.
And I don’t build at all. I made one course and that was it.
Also, Ubisoft loves to milk their franchises to death... so if this isn’t multiplayer I’ll wait a year till #2 comes out and then I’ll get this for $20.
Always loved playing poker on 360 back in the day. Don’t know how much I’d be willing to pay for this though. And “fully leverage next-Gen...”???? I don’t need my poker game to run beyond 8bit. Don’t waste your time.
Odd that the article doesn’t speak to Fitness Boxing, as this appears to be a successor to that game far more than RingFit.
I had both and sold RingFit as it wasn’t as much of a workout as FB, and the two player simultaneous options in FB were appealing as well.
I love FB and just wish they had an online competitive mode or something like that. The local vs. mode is great fun!
I’ll for sure pick this up if a western release happens.
And anyone who hasn’t tried FB, I would highly recommend if you are looking for a good workout. It’s also pretty technically correct in terms of the boxing moves and techniques it teaches (coming from someone with over 10 years of martial arts experience).
Is it just me or does the joystick look a little short or “stubby”? Doesn’t seem to have a good length to it, especially for players that use an “underhand claw” to hold their joystick for Street Fighter and such....
Guess this goes from a Christmas present to myself to a birthday present to myself. Sad, but I am very excited for this. Looks great, and the voices are pretty spot on. I like the VA as all the other LEGO Star Wars went without, so this just adds another layer of “newness” to it.
Only thing I’m praying for is REBELS DLC... or at least character packs of Jaris, Ezra, Chopper... the whole gang!!! And they’ve been a lego product in the past so they have the designs done!!!!! Pleeeeeeaaassssseeee?!?!?!?!
This sucked real bad. Worst direct ever. Nothing that we didn’t know about and nothing revealed. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Nintendo is really keeping stuff close to their chest.... I hope. How can you be getting so close to holiday season without any announcements?!?! It’s odd!
Street fighter II PLEASE!!!!! Turbo, super, whatever. Just gimme a fighting game I can play online!!! I’d love TMNT Tournament Fighters, but that’ll never happen... too obscure...
Can people go buy VOLTA-X already?!?! It really got lost with the GOD AWFUL promotion behind it (see: none at all). It’s a great game but literally ZERO community right now. So sad.
Up to episode 3... it’s ok. Not the worst but not the best... a little under the quality of Toys that made Us series, which I find incredibly well done. The editing just doesn’t have any style, it’s rather to the point and no humour interjected.
@BulkSlash you are right about the type-C comment. Amazon clearly states C, but the photos really don’t look like it. I’d love for that to be clarified. Anyone?
Nothing really for me. A pretty bland lineup if I’m being honest. Torchlight III maybe? Aside from that nothing striking... really hoping Nintendo has something up their sleeves to drive us into the holiday season.
@Teksetter Yes- no offline mode, although there is a pretty good single player campaign and story with plenty of side missions that help explain the characters. It’s not long (I’ve gone through it all) but there are plenty of goals to hit with leveling up each Volta (6 currently available). Due to the limited player base, I don’t know I can recommend it for $20, but at $10 I’d say it’s a must! I really like the game and sooooooo surprises at the lack of interest. I fully blame the developers as there is ZERO advertising. Their Instagram page has literally 2 posts about the game..... so sad.
Bought it only a month ago, beat it with the bad ending, uncovered just over 65% of the map, and didn’t notice any hiccups or have a single crash. Game is beautiful and great fun to play!!!!
Amazing game!!!! Wish this had more publicity behind it because it’s a real gem! Great style, gameplay, and sound design. And for $20?! You can’t go wrong.

@danemord Same! I like the look of it, the magic, the avatar the last air-bender feel, and no building!
I feel it’s great fun for $0!
