One other Ubisoft game coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future is the free-to-play title, Roller Champions. It was due to arrive this year, but it seems the release date has now been pushed back to 2021.
In a new announcement before the latest Ubisoft Forward, the game's product manager revealed it would be rolling out "early" next year. Here's the full video:
This game was officially revealed for the Nintendo Switch and multiple other platforms back in March. View our previous post to see the original announcement trailer.

Will definitely be checking it out because it's another free game!
I thought this was rumored a long time ago or something and was cancelled? Am I going crazy?
@SimplyCinnamon53 I were in private beta of it 1-2 years ago.
It were real all the time.
Looks great but will it be as amazing as rocket league? I doubt it... but can’t wait to check it out.
If it’s one of those games that are easy to pick up but hard to master (E.g ARMS, Rocket League) I’ll love it but... if the controls and moves are a little too complex it won’t be for me.
Also looking forward to Alpaca All Stars
Glad to have more free stuff to check out, hopefully it'll be fun!
It looks like it's going for a rocket league meets jet set radio vibe. Good decision to make it f2p as it seems like kind of a bizarre concept people will need some time to learn before knowing if they are into it.
I'll give it a shot, hope it's not p2w.
Jonathan! Jonathan!
Definitely feels like this is Ubisoft trying to emulate rocket leagues success.
Not sure if it’s for me though...
this looks super fun
I read free sports and was excited until I learned it wasn't American football.
Hope this turns out well. Looks cool, and I'm always down for a good arcade extreme sports game. And to say roller derby is underrepresented in gaming would be quite the understatement. Even wakeboarding has more options.
Looks horrible to me. No interest at all. Ubisoft is really taking easy ways out with their games of late. Nothing unique or outstanding. Just bring a multiplayer enabled splinter cell remaster to switch. Pandora Tomorrow or something like that. Those old 2:2 matches were great.
